Lovely stay

We loved the cozy little cabin. The view was spectacular and we loved sitting on the swing just staring at the mountains. It was the perfect spot for our getaway! Also loved the fact the roads are paved getting to the cabin. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful cabin, beautiful view

My family and I enjoyed a quick weekend stay at the cabin. The cabin was very clean and had a great view of the mountains. Would definitely recommend.

A perfect mountain getaway!

We loved everything about our stay! Waking up to a Mountain View, coffee by the fireplace, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cabin was clean and thoughtfully put together. Comfortable beds, too! We would absolutely return during our next visit to the north GA mountains.

Birthday Trip

This was a perfect place to stay for my husband‘s 40th birthday surprise! The scenery was gorgeous, and the cabin was very clean, and the owners were very responsive. Just a short drive to downtown Blue Ridge.

Beautiful home!

This cabin is beautiful and has everything you need! It’s very close to downtown blue ridge and easy to access and navigate to. We stayed on the porch almost the whole time. Beds were comfortable. Hosts were fast to respond and very kind. Looking forward to visiting again!

Weekend Getaway

Great cabin with an amazing view. Super easy reservation and check in/out process. Very clean! The outdoor chairs & fire pit have been upgraded too. We definitely recommend for people looking to get away.

Great weekend getaway

The cabin is very clean and well-maintained. It’s conveniently located between Ellijay and Blue Ridge. The check-in process was extremely easy and the hosts were very easy to work with and informative. The views from the front porch and the front porch swing really set this cabin apart and make it a fantastic place to relax and get away. Would 100% recommend.

Best Friend Getaway

The Hickory Bear was a beautiful place to enjoy God's creation and a wonderful trip with my best friend. The cabin is gorgeous and clean. The trip up and down was somewhat of an adventure, but well worth it for the sunset views and the deer and other beauty. I hope to return.

Quick Fall Getaway

We absolutely loved the cabin and the view from the porch of the mountains is absolutely breathtaking. The hosts are great communicators. The town of Blue Ridge is adorable! We like to hike and found some amazing places to do so. The Fall colors were gorgeous and will only get better as we visited early in the season. We will be booking again next year!!!

We stayed in this unbelievably great cabin. It was on top of the mountain with amazing views. The cabin was exactly as described. Everything was as clean and just truly a perfect cabin for what we were looking for. Stayed 12/30-1/5 2024

Perfect Getaway

The cabin was in the perfect location, clean, and most importantly perfect for our toddler. Our hosts were prompt and polite with any questions we had or help we needed. We spent every morning and evening on the cabin deck because it was just so beautiful we wanted to make sure we never missed a sunrise or sunset. The BlackStone came in handy on multiple occasions and there also was a solo stove (fire pit) that we could’ve used. This place is amazing and I recommend anyone looking for an easy family trip to pull the trigger. We are looking forward to returning,

Nice getaway

Wonderful!!!!!!! It was beautiful and everything was just as i saw in the pictures. The road up was not too bad. Got a little narrow at some points but was a nice drive up . Christian and Jen were wonderful. Had to text them about working the kitchen sink (haha) and i immediately got a call from Christian. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks Christian and Jen for opening up your beautiful cabin. I will definitely share with friends

Exceptional Cabin

We have traveled to and stayed in many cabins in the NC and TN mountain areas. This was our 1st time to the GA mountains and it did not disappoint. Hickory Bear cabin was exceptional from the moment we walked in. We were initially welcomed with the spectacular view from the spacious deck (which includes a swing). Upon walking in, we found a spotless and immaculate cabin with an updated and modern feel. The hosts provided every possible amenity: two coffee makers (both pod and pot), extra throws (had it been cold), all the “extras” one needs if cooking (such as condiments, sugar, foil etc… items we have not found in other cabins). They even thought to hang an umbrella by the door! The hosts have most obviously thought of every need. This is also the first place we’ve stayed where we awoke to view the mountains from our bed. It was easy to find and easy to drive to the cabin. The air conditioner had been set to cool the place upon arrival. This was a true bonus as it was an unusual near-100 degrees. Many cabins only have a window unit. The appliances are top notch and seem brand new. All dishes, flatware, and cooking tools are extremely clean. Bathrooms and bedrooms also immaculate. Bed and linens comfortable and clean. TV in each room and easy to operate. Hosts also provided instructions and information on everything. I cannot recommend this cabin enough. Thank you tenfold to the hosts who know how to provide an excellent vacation!

Amazing Scenery

This cabin was awesome!! You could sit on the couch view the mountains with the fireplace on. It was comfy and cozy! I didn’t want to leave. Will come back.
