Very welcoming home in a quiet neighborhood with just a 10 minute residential walk to the beach that offers good tide pooling. The owners did a very nice job of updating and decorating this home. The kitchen was well stocked with supporters and we appreciated the in-home laundry. There are a handful of family games in the front closet for rainy days or quiet evenings.

From the moment we walked in, we were impressed with this house. Even our teenagers asked if we could stay longer. All of the little details are provided, the house is clean and beautifully decorated, and the location is great for visiting the beach and the Redwoods. The kitchen is perfect for cooking and eating as a family, which we did for dinners, and the hosts also gave some good recommendations for local restaurants. We tried the Thai place in town, and it was delicious. The information binder that the hosts have put together is one of the most helpful we have seen, with clear recommendations and instructions, both for the house and for local activities. We highly recommend this house.

This property was exceptional. It was the most stocked of any property we have stayed at. They tried to think of everything to make sure our stay was comfortable. Very quiet and clean. Not far from the Redwoods for hikes during the day and near the water for watching the sunset at night. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Redwood Visit

Reserved the property after looking at multiple listings and felt this was the best fit for our visit. Communication was good from the host as well. The property was in a good location to everything conveniently and quiet. The amenities also was good and sufficient. I would rent from this host again.

Wonderful Stay

We had a lovely three night stay. The home is warm and cozy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts provided great information about the area. It’s a perfect location for exploring the redwoods.

Exactly what we needed!

This lovely house was exactly as billed; our kids had enough space for privacy, and the living room was very cozy. For us, the real standout was the kitchen. I realize not everyone enjoys cooking while on a trip; we do. It is always fantastic to encounter a house that is equipped for our kind of cooking! Plenty of cutting boards, knives, strainers, food storage options...it was delightful, and we SO appreciated it! Check in and check out could not have been easier, and the host is very communicative. The addition of personal recommendations was also great. We loved Howland Hills road and sunset on Pebble Beach. Thanks for a great stay!

A Wonderful Stay

We loved our stay, very comfortable and spacious, the host was very accommodating and kind. The kitchen has everything you would need and more, loved the island counter. Plenty of plush towels and bedding. Very quiet area and easy to get around. Our only regret was we didn’t stay longer. We would definitely recommend this place for a very relaxing stay

Great location, updated and nice yard

We loved our stay! I would recommend this host. They had great communication and laid out the rules clearly. Location was great with nearby restaurants, groceries and gas. Short walk to the ocean.

Great Coastal Getaway

This was a great house located on a very quiet street that actually felt like a home away from home. Nathaniel was an awesome host and very responsive. We would definitely come back for another stay in the future.

Great house and location!

Nathaniel was great to work with from start to finish. House was perfect for our family on our long road trip. The walk to the beach and views were amazing. Older community, but they really spruced up the house and made it modern and comfortable. If I were here again, I’d stay at this house! Thanks for the great accommodations!

Great Place!

We had a great stay at this very clean house. It is exactly as pictured. There were 4 of us and we had plenty of room. The host, Nathaniel was very responsive and easy to work with. This cute house is about a 10 min walk to the beach or a short 3 min drive. It's a great location, very close to many redwood hiking trails and the beautiful Smith River. If you are looking for a comfortable stay close to many outdoor things to do in the redwoods, this is your place!

My wife's family lives in Crescent City and we absolutely love exploring the area every time we visit! We wanted a home where we could stay whenever we come back to visit (which is quite often), and thought why not share this with others as well!
