Wonderful family vacation

We came to celebrate our high school graduate. We spent some time at the boardwalk, went shopping and swimming. This home was perfect for all our needs.

This was by far one of the nicest houses we’ve stayed at, you can tell that they had recently updated everything. The neighborhood was very nice and peaceful. It was conveniently located to shops, restaurants and grocery stores. NASA was literally a 12 minute drive away. We’ll happily book here again.

Really Great Stay

Great Vacation Rental

We had a great stay while visiting friends in Seabrook. The home was clean, spacious, and exactly as shown in the photos. The neighborhood was quiet and the surrounding homes were well-kept. The weather was cooler than expected, so I reached out about heating the pool and the host provided the details and cost. It wasn't cheap, but it was worth the price so the kids could enjoy the pool. The host was also always quick to respond and easy to work with. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful family vacation home!

Our family of 4 adults and 2 five-year-olds had a great time in this house!! It’s the cleanest house we’ve stayed in from VRBO. It has a great layout for family living; plenty of space and you can close off the hallway to the bedrooms at night if the adults want to stay up and not bother the kids while they’re sleeping! The pool and backyard area is absolutely wonderful! We swam multiple times a day and could barely get the kids out of it!! The kitchen comes with plenty of amenities to cook any type of meal you want. It’s close to many wonderful restaurants, a Kroger, and fun things to do as a family! Highly recommend this place!! We didn’t want to leave and if we ever go back to the area, we’ll definitely book it again!

Perfect house and location

We loved our stay at this house. It was perfect. Very clean and neat. Everything was labeled. All the rooms were away from the living area which was nice with kids. We used the pool and pool cleaners came during our visit to make it even cleaner. Nice area. We felt very safe in this neighborhood. We travelled between Houston and Galveston so it was the perfect location. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to other!

Great house for a relaxing get away

The house was perfect for the adult siblings/spouses to gather for some time together. The location is perfect for a trip to tour the Space Center or a day trip to Galveston. The hosts were quick to answer texts with questions.

Clean & good location

Pet friendly, close to GWL & Kemah boardwalk for our Christmas vacation. We had no issues with communication from the owners. We couldnt utilize the pool as we didn't pay extra for heating it but it was still very clean and well maintained & we will be keeping this home in mind during warmer weather.

Texas Vacation

Just a family of Wisconsinites who came down to see some family and beat the winter weather. The house was beautiful and perfectly accommodated the whole family. The pool was clean and the highlight of the weekend for the kids. I was able to send text messages to the owner and he responded very quicky for the few questions i had. we stayed for 4 nights and everything was perfect and we would absolutely rent from these owners again.

Couldn't ask for better

I have nothing but nice things to say about this property/owner. Our stay was for the week of the 4th of july 2024. First of all we were sent the check in details as soon as we asked about them to help prepare for our trip. Check in was easy. The house was immaculately clean and gorgeous. The photos do not do it justice. The furniture was all so cozy. The kitchwn was well stocked even by our cajun family standards. Owners response time was nearly immediately every time we reached out. There was a issue with one of the tvs and within an hour there was a brand new tv on the front porch. The pool was so much nicer than anticipated. We were surprised to find that there was a very nice deep end in the pool. It was very clean and there is a chiller/heater available for an extra fee upon request. You cant go wrong choosing this home for your next vacation.

Beautiful Home... Mediocre Experience

We rent a lot of houses for vacations, and this is the cleanest one we have ever stayed in. The home itself is beautiful, in a lovely neighborhood, and is largely handicap accessible. The kitchen is provisioned well enough that I believe one could prepare a holiday feast in it. That said, it wasn't ideal for children, and the owners are clueless at best and blatantly deceptive at worst. The sectional sofa doesn't actually connect in several places, which means it comes apart when you try to sit in it. I tried to connect it, but it is actually missing the hardware necessary to do so. Everything is labeled well, but even so, it was hard to find the light switches to the lights I wanted to turn on and off. Also, there is at least one remote in every room (the fan, the TV) and with children, I was nervous about losing one. There is nothing to do *in* the house (games, books, etc). They did not advertise any, but it seemed strange. Finally, while the owners assured me the pool could be heated before I booked it, they refused to do so. The heated pool was 100% of the reason why we booked the house, and the water was too cold for us to use it. When I asked them to turn on the heater, they informed me it was $200 extra and it took 48 hours to heat. I asked them to turn on the heat and tell me how to pay the $200, and they stopped responding to me. I have screenshots of all of our conversations, photos of the heater off, but only 1500 characters for this review.

Upon arrival, the property was extremely warm. 82 degrees and did not cool down to a reasonable temperature in the living room until late into the evening. The living area stayed about 5 degrees warmer than the rest of the house. Very basic creature comforts. Watered down soap, no washcloths and our towels were definately used. Our internet crashed the first night. They were very responsive even sending their son out to look at it the next day and replacing the router. We were told that it was working and it wasnt. It never was fixed and we were told there was an outage. There was not. They did not offer and type of rebate or anything. The last response we received regarding the wifi was "I have no words." There were ants in the kitchen that we could not get rid of, nor were there any type of cleaning products on site for us to sufficiently clean up after ourselves.
