You can’t get closer to the beach than this! The beach is at the end of a well-furnished deck. Views and ocean breezes are phenomenal. Sit on one of the quaint benches at the top of the stairs leading down to the beach and you have found the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sunrise over the ocean, the activities on the beach by day, and the stars at night - and just a few steps down and you’re on a perfect pristine beach with a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. There are two outdoor showers and a two-person hot tub on the deck. Have a soak, relax, and take in the beauty all around you.

A comfortably furnished, well decorated main floor is one flight of steps up from ground level. Two guest bedrooms and one full bath with tub and shower are located off of the living room on this floor. One of these guest rooms off of the living room Includes an attached bathroom with a shower. A large top-floor bed/bath suite has a private balcony with spectacular views. There’s even a large jacuzzi in this bed/bath suite with its own stunning views of the ocean.

There is a fourth small bedroom (“bonus room”) with two twin beds on the ground floor. This bedroom is attached to and entered from the garage. There is a vent for heat and air, but is not insulated. Some guests have said it’s a good choice for teens, college-aged kids, or two adults who like being on their own with a little extra privacy. Guests who use this bedroom will need to go upstairs for bathroom access. The living room, kitchen and main bathroom are one flight up from the garage and this room.

Bed linens and bath towels are provided at no additional charge and all of the beds will be made for you upon arrival! (Many other beach houses may expect you to rent or bring your own linens and towels.)

A clean, coastal retreat is ready for you to kick back and enjoy. It’s all yours, a place to call your own in a one-of-a-kind beach getaway at the Relax Inn!

The kitchen was remodeled in January 2017 and is equipped with beautiful countertops, cabinets, modern appliances, a variety of pots and pans, cooking and serving utensils, and nice place settings for all. It adjoins the dining and TV area.

There are cable tv and wireless internet throughout.

The house had all the little extras we needed; coffee filters, shampoo, extra towels, you name it. Debbie was so accommodating; allowing us to enter early and stay later than in the contract and checked in during our stay as well.

We were a family of 6 adults and 2 children.The house was in a very good location close to Surf City, restaurants & shopping on a wide and sandy part of Topsail beach.Well equipped kitchen although a bit cramped.The living room was small and the 2 first floor bedrooms were cramped with no closets for clothes but the beds were comfortable.Debbie the owner was very accommodating & communication was very good.The house was clean and overall we enjoyed our stay.

Beach time

Great deck overlooking the water for watching dolphins, pelicans, swimmers and surfers. Enjoyed the comfortable beds and the two bikes with helmets came in handy.

Wonderful stay!

This house was absolutely perfect for our entire family-- including our dog. Definitely the neatest and organized of any property we've rented, and it had everything we needed! Just steps to the beach, and the small fenced area accessible from the house was so convenient. We would love to come back!

Perfect family vacation

We absolutely loved our week at the ocean! The house had everything we needed to prepare our meals and we had lots of quality beach time! This is the second time we have stayed here and it has been wonderful each time! We hope to be able to make a third trip in the future. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with us!

Relax Inn - and relax we did!

We booked the Relax Inn for my wife’s birthday, she loves the ocean and beach, and this place delivered on both in a big way. Ocean front with views from both decks and even when relaxing in the primary bedroom (one additional bedroom has a great view also). You can even see the ocean while sitting at the dining room table. The house itself is well maintained and keeps to the theme. Very comfortable furniture, inside and out (Polywood deck furniture was quite comfortable). Debbie was awesome, always quick to reply and checked in to ensure we were good to go; this was actually quite refreshing and let us know she cares about her guests. Will definitely book this place again!

Great property, even better host

This property was perfect. We wouldn't change anything about it. The location is convenient to everything the beach has to offer. The deck provided a great retreat to sit and listen to the waves. Debbie was a fantastic host and provided excellent communication and local recommendations.

So good that the beach refurbishment didn’t bother us!

We really enjoyed this property. We loved the private deck, the little fenced yard at the bottom, and the house layout. Everything was just great! It was lovely to wake up to the sounds and site of the ocean right outside the master bedroom. And get to enjoy it from the large living room windows all day was a treat too!

Fabulous Stay

We planned a week long birthday get away. It was so nice and relaxing. Beautiful home on the ocean. Debbie was so nice to work with and had a goody basket waiting. We plan on another trip in the fall. Highly recommend.

Would definitely rent again

Beach front, gated deck/pier for dogs to stay away from beach. Lots of bedrooms. Bikes. Grilled some delicious Grouper from the fish market down the streed (JMs?). We had a great time.

Great week at a wonderful house!

My wife and I went with our 4 adult children and 2 small dogs. Everyone (even the dogs) had a great time because the house was just perfect! The deck has blocked off areas so our dogs could run around and we never worried about them escaping. There's also a fenced in area on the ground level which made it very convenient to take the dogs out (especially at night). The house was very clean and it had new appliances. Great location as well in a quiet part of North Topsail, but not too far from shops or restaurants. They had boogie boards, 2 bicycles, and a gas grill that we were allowed to use. Also, whenever I had a question, the owner would get back to me right away with an answer. She was great! I would highly recommend it!

Perfect relaxing getaway

We could not have asked for a better week. This house was exactly as described and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The location was amazing and the beach was never busy right outside of the house. Everything we needed in town was only a 10 minute drive and was super easy to navigate. Our 12 and 8 year olds loved the bonus room off the garage. It stayed nice and cool in there and felt like part of the house. The deck was roomy and we had some fun corn hole tournaments with a rented game. I could go on and on. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us. We truly can’t wait to come back!!

Beautiful ocean front house in a quiet neighborhood

Beautiful oceanfront house in a quiet neighborhood with little traffic. Master suite is amazing. Two outside showers make it very convenient after your time at the beach. Communication with owners was fantastic. Very responsive.

Great Family Trip!

We had our annual Topsail beach trip and stayed at Relax Inn this year. We enjoyed the house, location, and amenities. Comfortably slept 4 adults and 3 kids - pet friendly was a bonus for us. Kitchen was well stocked. The upstairs suite was awesome! Compared to other homes we’ve rented we felt this was most bang for our buck while still being beachfront! We’re already looking forward to our next stay. Communication with Debbie was excellent and she made sure we had everything we needed along the way.

Wonderful Summer Kick-Off

This is a clean, comfortable home with a sizeable deck which allows unobstructed views of the shoreline, beach, and signature NC dunes. Our two families of 4 spent a ton of time on the deck and the beach, which is a few steps away from the back door. That view and access is why you get this house. Inside the home is comfortable with tasteful decor and amenities, but not spacious - two adjacent homes tower above by comparison but this place holds it's own with a unique roof line and cutesy look. We all fit fine and the A/C units were in absolute beast mode - I was adjusting the smart thermostats up in temp on many occasions, it self-adjusted down drastically at times (to 65, chilly!). Cool air sleeping is dreamy here, and the beds are all comfy. The two stinky teens were fine in the spare room off the garage, a good space for them. The two pre-teens had to share the small bedroom with a queen, would have preferred two singles or a bunk (I knew when booking). Main level master was again on the small side, but the large attached bathroom kept those adults happy, not shared. Limited space for clothes. The top-level suite is incomparably enormous. Nice stand-alone bath jacuzzi leading to a small deck, but both were mostly unused as we're a social group. Perfect for some alone time though, was a very comfortable space. Kitchen was serviceable, but no cabinet drawers was an oddity and magnified the small space by walking around for many items. The new owners provide a ton of great stuff to cook with, but with all the fine goodies in cabinets there was not much space left for our food, so most remained in tubs on the floor against the wall. The fridge froze some items and I couldn't find a temp control, while the ice dispenser often just churned with no ice coming out (arm maybe froze up) so we just grabbed ice out of the easy-lean-out bin. Again, we made it all work, and any fridge can be finicky. We don't nit-pick, just side-step and stay in the beach mode lane. The large table worked well for group meals, easy clean-up for family game time. The living area with 3 couches was a lounge haven for us, the large TV was in fine view across the room, in an odd place but followed the theme of the owners making a smaller space live big. They've done a great job. Overall we REALLY enjoyed our stay, some quirks but nothing stopped our fun. The coffee views were amazing. Don't hesitate going here to get in your much-needed beach time.

Awesome House Right on the Beach

We had such a wonderful and relaxing stay! The house has a huge deck and is right on the beach. The beach was beautiful and not crowded at all. The entire outside area is also gated off which was great for our dog. The inside of the house is very comfortable and cozy. Debbie went above and beyond as a host. Would love to stay here again!

Right on the Beach

Our stay was amazing from start to finish. Debbie made our process so simple and easy. We loved being right on the beach and walking out to the ocean, especially with two little kiddos. The house is well stocked with everything you might need. We will definitely be back!
