Beach Accesses: There are several convenient beach accesses*! Below are 3 of the most popular accesses:
- Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about 1 mile to the East of Prominence.
- Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.5 miles West of Prominence. This access has a small parking area at the access (~$3-$5 for parking) and bathrooms, but the walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed & beach service is not available at this location.
- Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is a Walton County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. Parking and bathrooms are also available at this access.
*Note: Prominence homes access the beach via South Walton public beach access points. Most guests typically use the Deer Lake State Park beach access or other nearby public access points. Prominence homes do not offer direct beach access through the Watersound Club, nor do they provide access to the private Watersound Club facilities.
Parking in Prominence (North and South):
- North Prominence Triplex (A, B, C) Unit Parking: Parking is only allowed in the garage (if available) and/or the driveway of the unit being rented. Parking in unassigned driveways is prohibited and may result in towing or fines. No street parking or overflow parking is permitted in Prominence North. Additional parking is available at The Big Chill (formerly The Hub).
- South Prominence Parking: Parking is available in the driveway or garage of the home (if available). Street parking is allowed, but additional parking in the gravel spots on Pleasant and Clipper streets is first-come, first-served.
Pool Parking: No overnight parking is allowed at the pool area.
Trailer/Boat Parking: There is no trailer parking available.
Golf Cart/LSV (Low-Speed Vehicle) Rentals in Prominence: If your property does not come with a golf cart, you are only permitted to rent one through 30A Gulf Carts. Prominence strictly allows the rental of street-legal golf carts for guest use through this provider only. Questions regarding this policy should be directed to the Prominence HOA.
Nearby Restaurants: Nearby restaurants to The Town of Prominence 30A include The Big Chill (formerly The Hub) which offers several restaurants including - Red's Chicken Shack, Crave Roadside Burgers, Mile Marker 15, Local Smoke, American Drinking Post, Mr. Freeze, Food Trucks, and more!
Nearby Grocery Shopping: Publix at Watersound Origins, located on US 98 at North Watersound Parkway, approximately 3 miles away. Publix in Watercolor Crossing, located on South County Hwy 395, approximately 5 miles away.

A short walk across 30A, residents enjoy access to The Big Chill, which features restaurants, boutique shops, and The Prominence Town Center event pavilion with weekly concerts and movie nights! Age Requirement: Please note our age requirement policy for March/April: One (1) parent or guardian over the age of 25 must be present and staying in the property for every three (3) guests between the ages of 15 and 25.
Two Night Reservations: Please note, two (2) night reservations are subject to a lower max occupancy. A two-night reservation max sleeping capacity is equal to half of the standard max occupancy restriction for the property.
Promotions, Rates, Availability, Closures, Construction, and Cancellations:
Promotions may change, be cancelled, and dates may be blacked out at BeachWalk's sole discretion and without notice.
Rates, availability, and minimum stay requirements are subject to change without notice.
Please check Walton/Okaloosa County local news outlets for up-to-date information on closures or construction that may affect your vacation. BeachWalk is not responsible for any disruptions caused by nearby construction or closures of community amenities, such as pools or other shared facilities, as these are managed by the respective Homeowners' Associations and may impact your overall experience. Rental Agreement applies to all reservations.
Cancellation or changes to the dates of stay within a certain period prior to check-in may result in forfeiture of payment, associated fees (up to $200), and/or additional charges, depending on the timing of the request.
No Pets: No pets of any kind are permitted. Violating this policy will incur an additional $500 charge, plus the cost of steam-cleaning and deodorizing. Violations will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of rent.

Exterior Surveillance Noticer: For the security of our guests and the property, exterior security cameras are in place. These may include, but are not limited to, a front doorbell camera, driveway camera, cameras monitoring balconies, and a camera overseeing the pool area (if applicable). These devices are positioned to ensure safety while respecting guest privacy.

Starter Amenity Packs: At Beachwalk Vacations, we provide essential items for our guests to use until they can stock up at the store. In the kitchen, you'll find dishwashing soap, two dishwasher pods, and one roll of paper towels. For the bathrooms, we supply two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, along with basic amenities such as shampoo and a soap bar (similar to hotel-style, but not restocked during your stay). We also provide professionally laundered bed linens and towels with your reservation. For your convenience, we recommend bringing your own beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Great location - close to both the pool and the Big Chill. This was our second time staying in this neighborhood - first time in this unit. Cleanliness could have been better, and while the unit was very nicely decorated, the kitchen was in need of a lot of items.

We got there for check in at 4 and they were still cleaning. We had to wait an hour with our groceries before we were able to get in. I sent a text about it and only received they were sorry. I would have thought we would have gotten a little more help. We received a message how if we were late checking out we would be charged 200, no you can stay even an hour extra since you were delayed getting in. Later, in an email we got a message how we could have put our groceries in the refrigerator while they were cleaning.... Only a few paper towels were left on the roll that was there and no skillet for cooking. Not well stocked. Was decorated cute, so we were happy about that and was close to activities we were interested in.

The Pearl Lighthouse is Pearl
Highly recommend this property. We were walking distance (5 mins across street) to the Hub/Big Chil and a 2 min to the pool. We enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and beach accessories and 4 bikes.

Pearl Lighthouse
We enjoyed our stay at Pearl Lighthouse. The house was neat and clean on arrival and we had most everything we needed. Plenty of towels and wash cloths and comfy beds. The golf cart and bikes were a great perk. We enjoyed riding in the golf cart to places close by. Location was great close to lot of food and things to do. Would definitely recommend this house for a good place to stay.

Upon arrival/entry to the unit the door knob handle broke off. Unit was a dead zone for cell service and we only had working wi fi for about 8 hours on one day. Previous tenants did not take trash out. Trash can was full to the brim and in the garage which was not a pleasant smell. Lack of kitchen utensils in unit. Light on stairway flickered when turned on. Dryer took multiple times to dry a small load of items. We have stayed at prominence many times but this unit has not been well maintained and it was evident as soon as we arrived.

Wonderful, Family-Friendly Community
We stayed during Spring Break and really enjoyed this condo. The area was busy but the noise level was not a problem and we felt very safe. The original listing included a golf cart but now it's bikes. The bikes ended up being great and we used them several times. Condo was clean, plenty of towels, basic kitchen items (missing hot pads). Management company was GREAT to work with. Loved the location in proximity to the pool and the Big Chill. Overall, I would highly recommend this property!

Just needs a little maintenance
Master toilet makes an awful sound after each flush. Guest shower doesn’t drain properly. Master bed is super hard. We woke up sore every morning.

Great Stay
Great property, great location. The pool is steps away and The Hub is also steps away with shopping, a variety of food options, and entertainment. The beds were comfortable and the property was clean. Beach access wasn't too far. We had an issue with the golf cart coming back from the beach, luckily we had friends in town who were able to come get us. The property manager did answer the emergency line and called several times to check in. The property does have dishes, pots, pans, utensils. I would suggest adding packets of salt, pepper, sugar. Overall great stay, would definitely stay here again.

Buyer Beware: We will never stay at any Beachwalk Properties. The customer service is horrible. The garage code didn’t work, the kitchen was missing basic utensils (knives and spatula), pots/pans were dirty, drier didn’t work, and no internet/WiFi/TV. They said they’d fix the garage code so we could access the garage from outside, but that never happened. They knew it didn’t work but pretended it was an error from us, but it was finally admitted they knew it didn’t work. The internet went out halfway through our visit which is needed for WiFi calling due to coverage. They never fixed it. It was cold a couple days, with weather advisories and we had nothing to do in the house to keep3 children occupied (including a baby). There wasn’t a dvd player or boardgames/card games. They never tried to remedy the situation. We went on this trip to celebrate a birthday, and couldn’t watch any movies as a family. We couldn’t watch the ball drop on NYE. We couldn’t work remote. The company wouldn’t return phone calls, messages, emails. They sent us a checkout message and finally responded, 3 days later. We visit this area often and will run if Beachwalk is the property managers for any properties, we want to stay at in the future.

Spring-break
Property was clean and comfortable. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was stocked with very basic utensils so don’t plan on cooking meals. A small coffee maker was provided but no coffee filters. Only 2 dishwasher tablets were left for our 4 day stay. Be sure to bring your own body soap & shampoo a very small amount is provided. 1 blow dryer for 2 bathrooms. Not generous with providing the extras. We paid enough for our stay for the extras to be provided.

However, coffee filters are not provided and they are also not marketed. All homes are provided a basic starter amenity pack to help jump start your vacation. Anything extra is up to guests to provide.

Great Condo - no golf cart
The condo was great and in a good location, but we were promised a golf cart. We were not told until we had already checked in that the golf cart would not be available. We had not other mode of transportation and the management company refunded us but gave us no other options for travel.

Hi Andrew! We are so sorry to hear that this put a damper on your stay with us. Due to new community regulations, all vacation company golf carts were in the process of being banned from this community. However since then, we have been able to provide our guests with options on obtaining a golf cart to use! We hope to have you back with us soon in order to make up for this inconvenience during your stay.

Family vacation
My husband, our two year old daughter and I had a great experience with our stay! Home was beautifully decorated and only a few steps to the large resort pool. The house was comfortable and had everything we would have needed. It’s also a short drive or walk to the public beach access.
Only frustration was it seems you cannot communicate with an actual person at any point. Lots of automated texts and emails, but can’t get a simple question answered. I wanted to see if the property had a pack and play available like many rentals do, but never could get to an actual person to get an answer. Kind of a hassle. Other than that, excellent experience.

Should have been told there would be painters on the property during our stay!!
Downfall was the exterior of the property was being painted. Early morning sanding, and banging. Had to keep curtains closed the entire stay. Unable to park in driveway. Couldn’t use the front deck as they had scaffolding blocking door.
Wish we would have been told they were working on the property. We may have chosen a different property. Painters were there the whole day from 7-6. For the whole. Very disruptive!!

AC Unit Did Not Work
Arrived to property with a broken AC Unit. It had a wiring issue. It took the property managers most of the day to finally get someone out to fix. We didn’t have working air until 1 or 2 in the morning the second day. We only stayed for three nights and two of them we were miserable.
I would think that with the proper check in out procedures that this should have never happened.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you faced with the AC unit. We understand how important it is to have a comfortable environment. To ensure we provided prompt service, upon your late-night check-in at midnight, we faced challenges in dispatching a vendor as we contacted six different vendors without success.
Additionally, our on-call agent stayed up until 2:00 AM communicating with you and offered to help find alternative accommodations, including a hotel room, since we were unable to secure a vendor during those late hours. Please know that we did not delay in addressing the issue; the scheduling of vendors is beyond our control, as they manage and maintain their own schedules. The issue was repaired upon the vendor’s arrival at the home, which was less than 24 hours after your check-in.
We did our best to resolve the problem as quickly as possible, and we’re sorry that you had to experience discomfort during your stay. In addition to our sincere apology, we issued compensation for the inconvenience caused by the lack of AC on the first night, as we understand the impact it had on your stay.
We appreciate your understanding and feedback, which helps us improve our service. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future for a more enjoyable stay with BeachWalk Vacations.
