Welcome to the "Blue House on Boone"

Country Cottage home with tons of charm that you cannot get in a Hotel Room !!! Great retreat whether you are in town for a conference, wedding or a just a vacation. Located off historic Main Street and just a couple of doors from Britton House the oldest residence in Lincoln County. Short walk or even shorter drive to The Factory and other wedding venues in our community. Enjoy the Cuivre River State Park or just simply relax in the back yard with nice patio, firepit and dining area.
If you are looking for s ome great afternoon trips to see the surrounding areas, we may suggest Historic Downtown St Charles and Ameristar Casino. Downtown Hannibal offers some great history and some quaint shops and eateries. If you havent been to St Louis, you must see the Gateway Arch, St Louis Zoo, City Museum

Upon arrival, you may pull around to the rear driveway which is located off of Mound Street and has a sign as well.

This was an excellent place to stay!!!! I was in town for a short weekend to see my dad, who was staying with my sister in Troy. Such a warm and welcoming home, small but quaint And had a big feel! We will definitely stay here again. Would highly recommend. 10/10

The Blue House on Boone is an excellent base of activities in Troy. Located right off of Main Street in walking distance to the downtown area and a short drive to all of the Troy area. The house is well appointed, clean and comfortable. The host is kind and worked to make our visit the best.

We loved our stay in Troy! The house was super cute and really clean, and the beds were so comfy. The hosts went above and beyond with extras—snacks, games, plenty of towels, and cozy blankets. The location was perfect too—we were just a block from The Factory on Cherry and could easily walk to grab coffee or pop into the local boutiques each morning. A couple tiny things we noticed: a full-length mirror would be super handy, and the Keurig might need to be descaled since it wasn’t working for us. Overall, such a great stay—we’d definitely come back!

Loved this place! It had absolutely everything to make our stay feel like home. Every time I thought I needed to go buy something, my kids rummaged through the cabinets and drawers and found it.I was visiting family and they enjoyed the peaceful decor. The hosts were responsive and there were a lot of unexpected treats that made the stay feel extra special. Thank you!!

Beautiful house in the center of town

This house is gorgeous inside, beautifully decorated, and super clean. It is also walking distance from bars, restaurants, and a coffee shop. The owners are thoughtful and extremely communicative, responding quickly when I had a question, and following up to make sure everything was good. I've already booked this property for my next visit, and this will be my go-to when checking for properties in the area. Thank you for a great stay!

Third time staying here

Comfortable, clean, and cozy with plenty of room to relax. Love the back porch with table and chairs for morning coffee. This was our third stay at the Blue House and the host is friendly and accommodating. We will be back!

Amazing Stay at The Blue House

Everything was wonderful. The house is generously supplied with all that one could need. Very pleasant and cozy accommodations. Such a cute little historical neighborhood! Les and Sonya were amazing hosts! Communication was excellent and they are also very accommodating as well!

Cute little house in Troy. Enjoyed taking our dog on our vacation to visit family in Troy. House well stocked so we were able to cook most our meals. Will definitely go again!!

Great location

This house is located in a great area to walk to several restaurants and a coffee shop and is only 4 minutes from Toyota. The house was very clean and looked exactly like the pictures. If you are not used to road traffic/noise this may be an issue for you.

Relaxing and Convenient

Such a pleasant experience. Kitchen was well stocked with essentials and treats. Very comfortable beds. Bathrooms are updated and necessary supplies are provided. Will definitely book again

Amazing stay!

Having grown up in the area I did not expect to be amazed by anything. This house is absolutely perfect in every way. Beautifully designed, cozy atmosphere, and the perfect place for some quiet downtime during a family visit. Will definitely be back here!

This is a piece of heaven in Troy!!!

The property is gorgeous!! Spotless clean!!! The owners we so gracious and greeted us at check in!!! The beds were so comfortable. The decor is adorable! Only thing that I would tell the owners take new pictures, the ad here does not do your beautiful home justice!!!!! Will definitely be staying here again!!! Run don’t walk to this beautiful home!!! We were born and raised in Troy Missouri and have raised our now grown children, here as well. We love the people and rural atmosphere, yet are still close to "city" activities and amenities.

We are in the real estate and housing industry and have always enjoyed hosting our friends and family, so this seemed a natural progression for our family. We felt strongly from the moment that we found this home to be a great alternative to a Hotel/Motel stay.

This property was originally built in the 1930's and has seen and weathered many of changes in it's nearly 100 years. It is just a couple of doors up from Troy's oldest remaining residence, Britton House and the original cabin from Woods Fort. Historic Main Street is continually evolving with small family businesses which is the lifeblood of any small town. There is a sense of Midwestern pride and friendliness that we hope you get to experience.

Blue House on Boone has not only great history, but great location. The home retains it's charm and maturity, yet has been updated with the modern touches that today's world demands. The "Factory" is an amazing banquet center and popular wedding venue and is just a short walk away.
