We use a federal EPA registered disinfectant & sanitizer, Hypochlorous acid (Force of Nature) that kills 99.9% of germs to clean our yurts. It’s just as effective as conventional cleaners with no harmful chemicals. We wipe down door knobs, light switches, any frequently touched surfaces, sink, whole shower area and also spay on any furniture and whole space every time!

We cleaned and sanitized all bed lines for every arrival of our guest. Floor is mopped with disinfectant and then run a ozone generator to neutralize indoor air for one hour before your arrival.

For those who need a quite place to focus on your work, this yurt a great option because we offer high speed WiFi and a over-sized desk by the window.

The yurt offers its own kitchen with a stove, full-sized refrigerator/freezer with icemaker, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot and a dining area if you want to eat in. The living area has a love seat and a TV with streaming services. The bedroom has a king-sized bed. There is a full bath with a shower. There is heating and cooling throughout the yurt. There is also a ceiling fan and WiFi for your enjoyment. The oversized deck with an outdoor eating area is a great place to watch the sunrise, have a picnic and to kick back day or night.

At night you can see the city lights of Chattanooga in the far distance or look up and see thousands of stars. Our open area in forest would be magical place at night for stargazing. Mars will only be 58 million kilometres away from Earth. That’s the closest it has been in 15 years

Skyland Ridge is located in a secluded mountain setting on the bluff. Our neighborhood is home to deer, turkeys, owls, hawks and all kinds of other little critters.

Our yurts are surrounded by the mountains tree such as Oak, Pine, Walnut, Cedar, Hickory and more. We also provide yoga mats that can be used outdoor or indoor to enjoy.
We are just 30 miles from the Chattanooga Airport, 30 minutes drive to Chattanooga. Other tourist attraction area like Rock City, Ruby Falls, is a short 20 min drive away.

They are two yurts located next to each other on the top of the hill of Lookout mountain to share this beautiful nature setting. It is peaceful and relaxing to enjoy the birds, owls and frogs orchestrating for the music; however, there is no sound proofing to the walls of a yurt, so please respect your neighbors during quiet hours.

Interaction with Guests:
Owners live next to the yurts to provide hospitality and security but will also provide guests with full privacy. Guests can contact owners for any questions or requests.
