Welcome! Our sweet Mississippi family loves the Smoky Mountains, and we are excited to be bringing some "Magnolia State" hospitality to Gatlinburg, Tennessee!
Magnolia Bear Hideaway is a 2 bed 2 bath newly renovated three-level cabin nestled in a cul de sac in Gatlinburg's Arts and Crafts District. Spend some time on the Arts and Crafts Loop where you can find the perfect souvenir to remember your vacation by. It is truly amazing to see the talents possessed by the local craftsmen. Magnolia Bear Hideaway is less than fifteen minutes from all of the action in downtown Gatlinburg, less than thirty minutes from Pigeon Forge or the Great Smoky Mountains National Park entrance, and approximately five minutes from our favorite spot in the Smokies, Greenbrier Cove. Take a short walk to Mills Park and enjoy all it has to offer, including a playground, picnic area, disc golf course, and Gatlinburg trolley stop. Also nearby is the Gatlinburg Community Center. For a minimal fee, guests may take advantage of the community center's fitness facility, bowling alley, or indoor swimming pool. For you golfers, Bent Creek Golf Course is only ten minutes away.
Or enjoy time together with your family just hanging out at the cabin. Take advantage of the theatre/game room that boasts two arcade games, a comfy sectional, and a 75-inch tv set up on a beautiful console with a cozy electric fireplace. Enjoy a family game night with cards or board games, or maybe you’ll want to slip off for a relaxing soak in the hot tub. Eating out is always a treat, but sometimes you may want to just skip the wait at the restaurants and grill out or prepare a meal in the fully-stocked kitchen for your family. Get a good night's rest and wake up the next morning to enjoy coffee and quiet time on the deck. Then, go get ready for another day of making Smoky Mountain memories with your family.

IMPORTANT DATES - Guests may not check-out on certain holidays or days thereafter. Please note that you will be asked to change or cancel your booking if check-outs fall on the following dates: Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day, or July 4th.

This is a great cabin to stay at. Very spacious. Hot tub worked great. Kids loved the game machines and the big TV downstairs.

Would definitely stay again

This was perfect for our family of 5. Location was great for being out of the "city" and in nature but still close enough it didn't take forever to get anywhere. We loved the observation deck! The cabin was clean and stocked with just about everything we needed. The host was vert responsive and quick to answer any question I had prior to or during the trip.

Had a blast

Cabin was in a great location with peaceful surroundings. The rooftop deck was great to star gaze and some additional privacy. Inside, the rooms were all nice. Plenty of living space for the six of us. Close proximity to Gatlinburg made it easy.

Spring Break 2025

We loved our stay at Magnolia Den! The kitchen was very well stocked, which is not usually the case with vacation rentals. Our kids had a great time in the basement with the arcade and board games. The ability to sign in to our streaming accounts and having the TV automatically sign us out at checkout was great. Everything exceeded our expectations.

Wonderful Cabin for a Family Getaway

We had an incredible stay at this cabin! The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to do but still peaceful and secluded. The cabin itself was spotless and exactly as advertised. It was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great getaway. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing retreat in a fantastic location! Would definitely stay again.

Loved the cabin. I do suggest bringing your own trash bags if you stay here. Which isn’t a big deal. We just were not prepared upon arrival that we would not have any at the cabin. And a nice addition to the cabin would be a body length mirror somewhere in the cabin. Whenever we got dressed to go out we had set up our phones on the dresser to see what our outfits looked like LOL. But all in all we loved the cabin!

Fall Break 2024

We have been staying in cabins in the Smoky Mountains for years and this cabin provided us with a wonderful stay. Check in was easy. The beds and furniture were comfortable and Jodi our host answered all of our messages in 10 minutes or less. No scary roads to get to the cabin either!Ncabin.

End of summer vacation

This cabin was absolutely adorable! There was space for the adults and our boys. I wasn't sure how I would feel about the kids sleeping downstairs by themselves but it was so cozy and not scary at all! We didn't want to leave! May book again soon for a little fall get away!

Secluded paradise but close to town

It was a fantastic experience and was true to pictures. We enjoyed being out of town but close enough to get to town in the matter of minutes. I would highly recommend this property

Beautiful cabin!

Beautiful cabin with everything you need. Easy to drive to where you want to go. Our Girl Scout troop loved the game room. It took us a minute to figure out how to lock up when we went somewhere but we figured it out. Great hot water and plenty of blankets. Loved it!

Week Stay

The property was quiet and peaceful. The cabin was lovely and just perfect for what we needed. The location was close to the grocery store, restaurants, and downtown Gatlinburg and also a very short drive to Pigeon Forge. The host was accessible and communication was superb.

Perfect Fall Getaway

For the first time in years our family was able to go on a vacation together. This cabin was perfect for all of us! My brother, Sister-in-law and niece were able to have the downstairs. My parents were able to have the bedroom on the main level which was a HUGE bonus! My husband, daughter and myself were able to have the top floor. We spent a lot of time here and cooked and enjoyed one another’s company. My mother and daughter enjoyed the hot tub one night. The weather was perfect and despite where the location is this area we’ve stayed at now three times and it’s a super quick drive to downtown Gatlinburg. Jodi was great to communicate with throughout the entire time. This was by far one of the easiest checkouts we’ve had. It was clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked. For that many people too, there was enough TP and Towels. But if you needed more there was extra downstairs in the laundry area. Thank you for memories made! It meant so much to our family!! Blessings!

Fall getaway

We had a great time. I really like the extra touches with the fall decorations. The hot tub was perfect. We went to cades cove and hike laurel falls. It was super busy in town so was really nice coming back to the house to relax. Definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Fantastic vacation

The property was perfect, very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. Was a perfect location for us. We didn’t want something downtown but we didn’t want to go way up in the mountain due to possible curvier roads and car full of people with motion sickness. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back to the home if we come back to the area.

Quiet getaway

We had a wonderful week in Gatlinburg! The goal was a quiet getaway to meet up with family. We got exactly that at the cabin. It was also easily within 30 minutes of other attractions that we were able to take advantage of! The owners were incredibly responsive to any questions or needs we had. Wonderful stay!

Good stay

Good stay, great area. Nice home. However hot pool wasn't that hot and wifi was weak. Some nights we werent able to watch TV.

Beautiful cabin and Great Location

Our family enjoyed the cabin and it’s amenities very much! We loved everything about it. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. My boys (13 and 10) loves the basement and made it their living quarters for the stay. My teenage daughter (15) loved having a room all to herself. The master bedroom was spacious and comfortable. I really enjoyed having morning coffee on the observation deck. It was so peaceful. The cabin is located in a great spot away from all the hustle and bustle but close enough to it as well. We give our stay at this beautiful cabin 5+ stars!!
