The property was perfect for our stay. We were there checking out nearby ghost towns and Lamoille Canyon. We could see so many stars there at night. Beautiful. My husband chatted with one of the owners and discovered the property is on an old mining town and there is also a hot spring. The host gave fantastic directions, but in the late night we were having a bit of trouble being sure we were in the right place. I clicked the contact your host button on VRBO and she quickly and kindly answered the call and guided us on to the property. Great stay! Photo of the sunset from the deck.

Great place to get away and unplug!! Beautiful setting. Lots of room to explore. Far away from town. So quiet you can hear the air under the wings of the birds! Ghost town right next door and a wonderful canyon just beyond the property.

Awesome weekend
What a beautiful place. The cabin is perfect for 2 with a fully stocked kitchen and comfy furniture. The deck overlooks the ranch and was my favorite spot. Can't wait to go back!

Hunting getaway
The hosts are the best! Even offered their walk in freezer to hang my antelope to help it cool off after the hunt! We will be back!!

Union Pass Ranch
Overall, our experience was exceptional! Sadly, we weren't in the Cozy Cabin as listed, due to an online glitch when reserving. However, bonus points! The hosts were able to accommodate us with another home on short notice still on the property, and it worked out well. They were very friendly and welcoming, showing us around the property and offering help if we needed it, but they weren't intrusive at all since it's a working ranch and they were busy! The location is out of the way, so be prepared for limited cell service and WiFi. We enjoyed our stay and the flexibility of the host family.

Review
We loved the little cabin, it was small but had everything we needed for a weekend away. It is definitely in the middle of no where so bring everything you need with you. We had a little difficultly finding it in the dark due to our gps not taking us exactly there. The owners do provide written instructions, make sure to screenshot them before going, there is no service going up their road and very minimal at the house. They offered a hot springs experience right on site which was really relaxing (our favorite part). Only downfall was they advertise WiFi, but it was not working while we were there. But the owners were very communicative and extremely nice during our entire stay and we would definitely go back!

A healing property and mother natures gift
The home is very comfortable and nicely updated, fully stocked kitchen and everything you need. The washer and dryer is a major bonus! The views are incredible there are endless things to do if you like the outdoors you can take nature walks enjoy a mineral bath and abandoned mines are a quick drive away. The sunrises and sunsets, stargazing and full moons are incredible. If you love horses, dogs, goats and two very friendly cats you will love this place. There’s also tons of wildlife, so much wildlife you could spend your day wild life watching! The people who own the ranch are absolutely wonderful and genuinely care about their guests and their ranch and all of the animals. I stayed here for a month and my 13-year-old son was there for a week and he had a blast, so much to do! Can’t wait to return!

Silence was great
What a great little property. It has a great little ghost town with some history that you can actually find online if you are into mining. We were looking to to hot springs on BLM and wouldnt you know... there was a great spring on the property that we were offered to use. (CANT SAY HOW COOL THAT WAS!) We did not use the air and heater though it was on and running. The fireplace was great and we used it as the temp was perfect for it. I used the air the third day when it was warm and it worked great.
I'm notgoing to break everything down, because the pictures spell it out. We washed and cleaned the place up with ease as everything that we needed to keep the place clean was there. The only thing I did not do that I would have, was write the phone number of the host down as my cell service was not very good in NV and I could not get her number in my email... That said, I could have easlily driven over to the property like she told us when we got there. "Mom," Veronica also lives on the property an dwas super cool and we had a couple of great conversations.
This place is remote. This place is beautiful. This place is in a great location from the "loneliest highway" (US50). We usually primative camp in the BLM and this was the best as we had a great cabin out of the snow and full access to the prperty we were on and it was surrounded by BLM........Thanks For a Great Stay

Great property
This is a great little studio cabin. Was clean and cozy. I loved the wood burning stove and the heat it provided.
It’s a rural property and very peaceful it was easy to check in the host was responsive and helpful.
My suggestion to anyone staying here to use a pickup truck to get there or be sure the road is clear. I took my pickup and was fine getting to the property but if I would have taken my car it wouldn’t have been able to get down the driveway because of the snow from a previous storm.
I would definitely stay here again
