Welcome to our peaceful family retreat!
For your convenience, we offer an attached garage, in-house WiFi, a desk, and a printer for those who need to work remotely. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs, and the 1200 square foot home features 3 private bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. You can also enjoy your favorite shows on our Roku TVs with Netflix, Amazon Prime, and other apps.

Nearby, you'll find several public beaches:

* Lake Huron Roadside: 839 S Lakeshore Rd, Port Sanilac, MI 48469 (15-minute walk or 3-minute drive)
* Port Sanilac Public Beach: 7-minute drive
* Lexington Public Beach: 14-minute drive

Splash Park – interactive water features, multiple water slides, a dump bucket, AND two, two-story water slides.

Check in was great. Upon arrival, we were so impressed with the house. The pics don't do it justice. The AC was great! The Internet was great, the beds were all extremely comfortable. The water was hot and had good pressure. There were extra items in the cabinet which helped me prepare a steak marinade. The chickens were a lot of fun. My granddaughters loved them! The pushbutton starter gas grill was fabulous! Only 4 minutes drive to the beach, the grocery store and the harbor. 2 minutes to the Stone Lodge Restaurant. Eleven minute drive to Lexington. The location of this house was perfect, on a beautiful country road. If was so quiet and peaceful. I plan to come back that way and would love to stay again next summer. Next time if I have time, I will enjoy the fire pit! Thank you again! Melanie Richardson

The property was very clean and was even nicer than photos showed. We enjoyed our stay and the property. It was great to walk our dog down a country road. The chickens in the yard were a bonus, and the owners shared some fresh eggs. We recommend this property highly if you want a little out of the way, peaceful country stay. A great value for a little extra driving.

A Hidden Jewel

We spent a week at this very nice home. The place had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The clean three bedroom, two bath house has been updated to include solid surface floors which was a bonus with our dogs. We appreciated being able to bring them. The yard was spacious with a chicken coop at the back of the property. It was fun seeing the chickens. Our kids enjoyed playing games in the yard. The owners were very friendly and quick to respond to our questions. While the location is isolated, it is just a short drive to Port SANILAC or Lexington. There are restaurants and beaches just a short drive away. We traveled to Frankenmuth one day to meet family. It was an easy 1.5 hour drive. I would highly recommend staying here for a delightful stay near Lake Huron.

The host was super amazing!! The property was absolutely beautiful! My girls wanted to surprise their father with a fishing trip, for Father’s Day. I was so glad I saw this property!!The home was clean and beautifully decorated. This was perfect for our family trip. This home is nestled in a serene area, surrounded by nature, we even spotted deer close up and a turtle, which made the experience feel extra special. The property itself was incredibly clean and well maintained. We loved that the kitchen was fully stocked with silverware, spices, dishes, and everything we needed to cook our own meals. This place is especially great for families, my children had a blast with the games and toys provided there. It was more than enough space for everyone to feel comfortable. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for relaxing and cozy nature stay, especially families. We’d definitely be back.

Fabulous! So clean and had everything we needed! RIGHT by a roadside park! Tons of sleeping room, lots of games, DVDs etc. Television in every bedroom. Such a comfortable, cute house!

We actually got to meet the owner of the property and they were so kind! The house was clean, beautiful, and the beach was a very short walk away! Bonus being the fire pit and the animals!

Charming, cozy house close to Port Sanilac and anything you might want to do in the area. Very clean and comfortable, well appointed kitchen, and on a quiet street. Great stay!

Relaxing

Just what we needed. We loved the lake view just around the corner. We enjoyed the view even in the 20 degree weather. The lake is breathtaking. The house is fantastic and will make you feel right at home.

Calm, Cozy and Welcoming

I stayed here with my husband, brother, sister-in-law and sister. We gather from all corners of the country once a year to reconnect. During our stay, we visited the cottage that once belonged to our grandparents and explored the surrounding area The property was extremely well maintained and stocked with more than enough glassware, pots and pans, etc. There was nothing that we felt like we were missing. Everything was as described and in working order. The five of us were more than comfortable. We wouldn’t hesitate to return should we visit the area again!
