Beautiful Condo on the Ocean

The condo was clean and comfortable for our group. The view of the ocean from the balcony is beautiful --we saw dolphins, pelicans, and the sunrise while enjoying our coffee. The kitchen had everything we needed. We were pleased with communication with our hosts and enjoyed our stay.

Spring Break in OBX

We had a lovely stay at the condo with our 3 year old. The unit was very clean and very comfortable. Oceanfront view is stellar. We loved the close access to the beach and pools. Location is perfect for dining/shopping and attractions. We did not want to leave!

Beautiful view

Such a gorgeous beach view, with all amenities: hot tub, elevator, parking area were all well-kept and in working order. Host was so helpful, and easy to contact.

Perfect beachfront stay

This was the perfect place to stay for our slightly off-season February beach vacation meet-up with far flung family. Great location for things to do, including self-guided light house tour and kite flying on the OBX beaches. Beautiful and comfortable condo. Really enjoyed meeting the sunrise each morning while in the private hot tub. Great hostess, too - thank you!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful long weekend at the outer banks. This unit was perfect for our family. It was clean and well stocked and it was a great location. We would stay there again.

Great OBX Experience

The location of this property is great! It is near lots of the OBX attractions, on the beach, and close to grocery stores, restaurants etc. Condo is spacious, well equipped and is as advertised. Complex amenities are well maintained. Owner very responsive to our questions! Could have been a touch cleaner for the price, but nothing that deterred us from enjoying our vacation. We would recommend to friends and family.

Simply magnificent

This condo is simply glorious — the unit is spacious and clean and wonderfully laid out; the location is perfect; the views from the balcony are spectacular; the pools on site are gorgeous and terrific; and Sharon is a responsive and terrific host. Absolutely the best in every way.

Loved it!

This was probably the best place I've stayed in the outer banks. The condo was great and the host was responsive and helpful. The main floor was the kitchen, living room, balcony with hot tub, and a bedroom, while downstairs was two other bedrooms. It worked perfectly for the grandparents to be on the main level with access to everything, while kids and parents were on the lower level. Couldn't have asked for more.

Wonderful Week

We were in a great location. Everything was easy. The condo was lovely and we were able to relax, have fun, hit the beach, enjoy sunsets, and make memories. Beds were comfy, kitchen had what we needed and the balcony was perfect.

Relaxation in OBX

After visiting many different oceanfront condos in FLA, SC, and NC, this OBX area and condo was everything advertised and more! The 2 level condo was unique, and spacious. I wanted to face due east and the sunrises were amazing. Dolphins were a daily viewing from the beach and both balconies. The condo is well decorated and equipped. We even used the private hot tub on covered balcony while it rained at night. Beach area was relaxed and not crowded, even in the busy season! Pools and hot tub were well maintained and clean. The area is ideal as it’s across from the Wright Memorial (which was neat!) and between Kitty Hawk and Nags Head. So it’s near great restaurants and activities yet the area is quiet and less crowded. Good parking was always available and Sunday check-in and out was a first for us, and we even liked that as Saturday was fairly quiet on the beach and Sunday traffic was easier. Only one minor comment is that TVs were a tad small and the Wi-Fi was slow, but that was not why we were there and helped me not want to work! I also didn’t realize there were locked bins available for beach gear, so I’ll bring a combination lock next time. Loved the OBX and this condo!

The good and the bad

Our stay was mostly enjoyable. The location is great--beach front, easy access to pool and beach. Property was quiet for the most part except for one night when there were loud voices in the pool at 2:00 a.m. just outside our bedroom window. Response and assistance from the owner was outstanding. Always prompt. The unit itself was spacious. It was very clean when we checked in--cleaning staff had done a great job. There were a few items that could have made our stay a bit more pleasant. First, internet access was a major problem, but owner assured us that cable company was to be upgrading the system. Our son had joined us for the week and had emergency work issues he needed to deal with, so this presented a huge problem for him. While there were plenty of bath towels (plus extras) provided, it would have been nice to have a few extra washcloths and hand towels available for use rather than having to do laundry in order to have fresh ones during the week. The unit could use a few updates; i.e., a couple of the dining chairs were semi-broken and need to be repaired/replaced. One of the bathroom towel bars was not fully secured to the wall, which wasn't evident until I hung a towel on the bar which then fell on my foot and I couldn't walk very well for 3 days. It would be nice to have a darkening curtain in the bedroom on the beach side of the unit unless you enjoy bright sunshine at 5:30 a.m. and/or lights from the pool shining in all night. Drain flies in shower.

Wonderful stay and the best hospitality

Our stay here in the Outer Banks at this location was absolute perfect!! It provided us with the best location close to many activities to check out in the OuterBanks, such and shopping, ice cream at the Surfin' Spoon, fishing at the pier and less than 30 minutes from the Corolla Wild Horses tour. We had a two night stay and the condo itself was beautiful, spacious, very clean and accommodated our family with younger children up to teenagers. The view of the ocean from the condo is spectacular. The access of the pool and hot tub was a hit and perfect spot of relaxation for all the kids. The hospitality of the host was also top notch. She was very prompt and on time with communication as well as accommodating. When we arrived there was a storm advisory we were concerned about. She had local family check out the situation and promptly replied to provide comfort and resources if necessary. We are hoping to make another trip to the Outer Banks in the future and if available will for sure plan to stay again :-)

Great spot for a great time!

This condo was absolutely perfect with one bedroom on the main level and two bedrooms on the lower level. There was a beautiful view of the ocean from the main floor living space and balcony. Easy access with an elevator made moving our things in and out a breeze. The condo was very clean, nicely decorated, so comfortable for our group of four, and had a nicely stocked kitchen. Access to the beach and indoor pool were great. The location was just perfect for all things OBX! The host was responsive and easy to communicate with about the property. I would definitely recommend this place for making memories at the Outer Banks. Thanks so much!

Perfect say, really couldn’t have asked for anything more!

The location of this property is perfection. If you travel in cooler months, there is a nice hot tub on the balcony with a perfect ocean view. We loved the close restaurants like Kill devil Grill, which is one of our favorites. A very easy drive to other locations like downtown Duck and the horses in Corolla. Sharon is a wonderful host and will promptly respond regarding any possible issues.

Lovely condo in perfect location!

We loved our stay in this condo! The listing and photos are very accurate. The unit is clean and spacious and has everything you need. The building is on the newer side and is well- maintained. Beach access is easy and the view is outstanding. The host is lovely and responded quickly to all of our questions. We would definitely stay again for our next trip to Kill Devil Hills!

We are a beach loving family! I am from NC and all my extended family are still there living the beach life. My husband, kids and I live in rural WY now and get out to see family at the outer banks as much as we can. When we can't be there, we like to rent our condo out for other families to enjoy!
