Our favorite VRBO rental!

Love this property! We’ve stayed there at Anne Marie’s place many times, and we keep coming back to it. We have tried staying at bigger homes with more family members, but we miss everything about this place. This year there were new couches which are so comfortable! Anne Marie is great to rent for. It’s nice renting from a human over a rental company.

OBX relaxation

We had a great time in this spacious and well equipped condo. There was room for everyone to have a private space as well as plenty of group space. The beach side deck is delightful and has shade for much of the day making it a good place to read and enjoy a glass of wine. We are already booked for next year!

Lovelier than the listing!!

The condo was super clean and well-furnished- no need for any extra rentals! The location is perfect for anyone who enjoys going to sleep with and awakening to the sound of the surf! The host answers any questions within minutes. The perfect vacation rental.

Beautiful ocean view.

We enjoyed sitting on the porch and listening to the waves. Huge walkable beach area allowed for long walks on the beach. Comfortable bed in HUGE master bedroom with same ocean view!

Spectacular

Loved every minute, even with rip currents and tropical storms coming our way we enjoyed the pool, the restaurants, and the jeep rental to see wild horses. This was our second stay and we are sure to have a third!

OBX Fun and Sun

Perfect location with an amazing shaded porch! Direct access to the beach if you want to be on the sand or in the water but lovely to just sit on the porch and take in the scenery. The condo is very comfortable and has everything you need--including items for the beach. Anne Marie is a wonderful host and responds quickly to any questions.

We love beaches, and the condo has a great layout. The sauna was a big hit. However: on arrival the kitchen floor was quite tacky and when we wiped up water drips from the refrigerator onto the floor, the paper towel came away almost black with grime. The deck cushions were outside when we arrived and so were wet with rain and ocean mist. the ceiling of the deck has large rusty,moldy crack which drips onto your head if sitting out. Some of the kitchen items needed to be washed before using, and the shower head in 2nd bathroom is somewhat corroded. We constantly saw trucks from water and mold damage repair in the parking lot which did not give a good feeling. All in all, wonderful beachfront property, but entire building needs total rehab

Beach Therapy

We love this property! Anne-Marie is fabulous! So kind and helpful! The proximity to the beach is so convenient with small children. Sitting on the deck and watching dolphins right off shore is a treasured memory. Can’t wait to come back!

“Just Perfect”

My stay at this property was everything I envisioned and more. Right on the beach, excellent views, relaxing, soothing sounds, nicely decorated, and well appointed. Communication with the owner, Anne-Marie, was seamless and very pleasant. There was a spiritual quality about the property that resonated with me and my friends. Would definitely book again.

Thanksgiving vacation

We had a wonderful family vacation over the Thanksgiving break. The host was super nice and responsive to my emails and calls. The condo was everything you see in the photo listings. We loved everything about the condo, the easy access to the beach, and the convenience to stores and restaurants. Overall, our family had a memorable Thanksgiving vacation at this rental. We’d stay here again if we had the chance to visit OBX again.

Beautiful place

This condo is huge. Kitchen was great with amazing space to hang out together. Absolutely amazing view!! Area is very nice. Close to some homey restaurants and some very nice ones. Great coffee places near by. So much shopping and things to see.

Mother/Daughter get-away

Took my Dayghter to outer banks to show her its not all like Avon. Had a great time. Saw the wild mustangs went to Aquarium and played mini golf. Spent some time looking for shells and just relaxing. Dudnt want to leave. Place was beautiful. Owner was responsive on one issue not their fault.

I had hoped it would be better but it was fine

I looked long and hard for a place to meet our needs (one floor, three bedrooms, right on the beach) for my family with two little kids--this vacation was a huge investment for us, so I will admit I have high expectations. Upon arrival, I did immediately notice a chemical-cleaning smell (I will say I am definitely sensitive to these smells). The first bedroom selected by one of my kids had a smell that did give me a sore throat. Some of the outlets were falling out of the wall, and the furniture was older and dusty in places. The carpets definitely needed cleaning in the smaller bedrooms. The refrigerator had a chemical-y cleaning smell. The biggest bummer was that the air conditioning did not do a very good job of cooling my kids' rooms. Even at the lowest AC temperature, my toddler's room was 75 at night, so we had to move him into the master bedroom. The master bed was too soft for me (perhaps fine for others). I was overall disappointed. BUT it was right on the beach, and aside from the temperature issues at night, my kids didn't notice any of these other things. I did not reach out to the owner with my issues or concerns, primarily because I felt nothing could be done in the moment. It's difficult to clean away chemical smells. If you like to cook, definitely check with the owner first to see if the items in the pantry will meet your needs. And bring a can opener! :)

Great vacation

The condo was big. The separation between the master bedroom suite and the rest of the condo was perfect. Where the other two bedrooms and bathroom were located was perfect for privacy. One problem was the ceiling above the deck leaked and it appeared the ceiling material was full of water. There was plenty of room for dining and sitting in the living room area. Use of the beach equipment was a definite plus. Great weather was beautiful beach.

My husband and I bought this lovely condo once our children were grown. We have enjoyed it together and as a family for the last fifteen years. We live about 100 miles from the Outer Banks and find it very easy to get away to the beach whenever possible. My husband is retired military and I am currently working as a therapist in Newport News, VA. We have lived on the east coast most of our lives.

We chose this property because we fell in love with the views from every window, the easy beach access, and the proximity to all the amenities. The low-key Outer Banks atmosphere, and the friendliness of the people is especially appealing. And the food is terrific!

Sitting on the deck with your feet on the railings and watching the dolphins in the morning is a memory to treasure!
