How about a quiet get a way from the hustle and bustle of life? Or a place to kick back and relax while traveling across the country? Or even just a place to come with your friends and hang out for a few days? You’ve found the perfect spot! Located on 3.5 acres in the country within 10 minutes of Interestate 57. Conveniently located within 15 minutes of Rend Lake Resort and golfing. 10 minutes from the town of Benton and 3 minutes from Benton golf course. This spacious house comfortably sleeps 9. Cook you and your family a lovely meal in the fully equipped kitchen, relax in our spacious living rooms and enjoy a game with your buddies, then drop into our luxuriously soft beds and enjoy a comfy night of sleep! And when you arise, make yourself a cup of coffee and sit on our large deck or patio and enjoy the wild life. Toast some marshmallows over the fire pit while watching the birds in the trees around the house, or the white tail deer in the field across the road. And if it’s your lucky moment, you may even see a huge whitetail buck! The red foxes are even known to run in the area! And if you feel like having a family outing... take about an hour and half drive to Sikeston Missouri and enjoy a meal at Lamberts ( Home of the Thrown Rolls) or take an outing to St. Louis Missouri and visit the Arch or enjoy several hours at the Magic House ( hands on children museum) Or even within 10 minutes of Whitetail Acres, you can enjoy antique stores or the old jail house museum. And don’t forget to check out Scooters coffee shop while your at it!

Angela was a great host. I’d recommend anyone staying here visiting southern Illinois. Plenty of space, and if you needed more space to sleep, there’s a lot of floor space for blow up air mattresses, even though they do have 4 full size beds. Very peaceful and tranquil spot in the country. No traffic. No stress. Perfect!

there was a terrible mouse problem. No TV. soap dispenser in 1 shower empty of body wash and shampoo. No paper towels or napkins. Kitchen had no large plastic bowls. Everything else was fine, would stay there again if these issues were corrected.

I’m sorry for your experience… we try our best to correct any issues…. I will add that on the listing if people read before booking… that they will know right up front , there isn’t any tv… just WiFi!!! So that is a guest problem if they don’t pick that up… also I happen to know that there was shampoo and body wash in all the soap dispenser because we cleaned after these guests were out and we didn’t need to refill anything!!! But the problems they had that we can take care of… we definitely do our best to correct! These folks took good care of the place, but it’s your risk if you want to rent to them and risk getting this kind of review!!

Another Awesome Stay

We used this same property a year ago and it more than met our needs. We enjoyed the stay so much that we used it again for this year's adventure to Rend Lake. The remodeled patio and firepit were a nice and used improvement.

We really enjoyed the stay, lots of cute wildlife to watch and very serene. Plenty of activities for outdoor games here as well. While the town seems small there's just about everything you'd need in Benton.

Great value

Quiet, peaceful location. Lots of room for the kids to play both inside and outside. We made good use of the firewood and firepit. Really good value for the price. It was the perfect place to get together with family and watch the eclipse.
