Come enjoy our original Turkey Farmhouse. From the original hardwood floors to the farmhouse style kitchen cabinets. With a gorgeous view from the sunroom or screened in porch. You can watch wildlife or just enjoy your morning coffee. This home sits on 7 acres and it located just minutes from Rend Lake. The home has 3 bedrooms ( king bed, queen, 1 full, and 2 twin, 1 bath with a large living room and dining room perfect for your entire family or a hunters retreat. We allow a dog for a fee of$40 per stay. If a pet is brought on the property without paying the fee an additional $100 will be added to your stay. We allow a dog for a fee of$40 per stay.

The guest that books our property must be present durning the entire stay. The guest is responsible for any damage that happens to the property. There are no drugs allowed at the property.

Perfect house to stay with your whole family. Location is convenient. Pretty much all the necessities you need. Wish it had 1 more bathroom.

We stayed for our fishing trip at Rend Lake. Excellent location for our stay. Close to eateries and a great winery down the road.

Great place near Rend Lake

Miranda's place was clean, easy to find, beautiful property, close to Rend Lake and town. House has all the amenities you need for a convenient getaway and the property is perfect for the furry friends. Great place, would stay again on my next trip to Rend Lake

Very Pleased

This is an excellent place. Extremely clean, easy access to the property. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. Very kid friendly with board games and coloring books. I really couldn’t have found a better place to stay on our trip from Texas to Michigan. We are already planning our next stay here.

Peaceful and perfect

This host was amazing! Communication was stellar and they were very gracious to any requests. The house and grounds are spacious and even though it sits on a busy road (easy to get to!) it felt secluded. We will definitely use this property again.

The property is old but super clean. There was an overwhelming chemical smell in the home. At first I thought the home might have been recently treated for pest or maybe mildew but after I turned the oven on it went away. So I suppose it was oven cleaner. The oven has a thermometer in it for a purpose. I set it for 350 degrees and it heated to 500 degrees. Needless to say those cookies went in the trash. The beds were very comfortable and easy to sleep in. Overall, the stay was good. We enjoyed watching the turkey and deer traveling through the back yard.

Wonderful little home

We loved staying here. It is an adorable little home, decorated so fun. We stayed on a cold december night. I wouldve given it 5 stars but the heat was turned way down and didnt get warm by the time we had to leave as we were only there less than 8 hours. But the drier was a perfect way to preheat my clothes before heading back to our journey. I would reccomend this cute little house. Maybe stop and turn up the heat before you plan to jump in bed.in the summer this will be a perfect stay.

Suggestions

The house was ok in general. We were not aware it was right on Hwy 37 which made for hearing a lot of traffic. A few suggestions: - Put up curtains in the bedrooms as tthe blinds do not keep out all the light. - Put dressers in the bedrooms - Put a nightstand on both sides of the bed in the main bedroom. My wife uses a CPAP machine, and we had to move another nightstand on her side of the bed to accommodate her CPAP machine. - Put a shelf or vanity in the bathroom. - Install a fan in the bathroom.

The home was very nice. Clean and it felt like home. Fishing areas was very close to the area in which we stayed. Open kitchen. Large dinning and living room area. Bedrooms were very comfortable. No tv in bedrooms but comfortable. Enjoyed.
