Aspectos positivos: Limpieza, llegada y ubicación
Beautiful property, well furnished and in a tranquil location in the evenings surrounded by vineyards. The The wine production and sales area is on the plot so there was some activity to do with this during the day but that didn't really concern us . There is a boulangerie 5 mins drive away and Chinon takes about 20 mins. No restaurants within walking distance but we knew that when we booked . The house has sufficient equipment with a large fridge/freezer although a working tin opener would help! Also although there are two dish washers only one of them worked, but we managed with that . We had a problem on our first day with flooding in one of the bathrooms, after contacting the owner some people worked on the drains all afternoon but a plumber was needed next day to resolve the situation .The septic tank also had to be emptied . Two bedrooms are downstairs and two upstairs . The staircase bannister was very loose and didn't feel safe at all - any one who is infirm or disabled would not be able to get upstairs . Having said all this we did have an enjoyable holiday in this beautifully furnished house but there were some areas that needed improvement .
