We enjoyed our stay here. The view of the lake is very obstructed and minimal at best, but that didn’t detract from our stay. We traveled with our dog, so we really appreciated the walkability of the area.

The property was ok overall. There are a few things that need taking care of. We couldn't sit on the patio. The area was pretty dirty and there was a tree limb that was broken and hanging over the patio fence. The master bathroom shower head needs adjusting, because water sprays out of the front and back of it. Finally, the view of the lake was a bit misleading, as you had to see it slightly off the front porch. We did have a good time in Hot Springs.

Short holiday vacation

We drove from Arizona to spend 5 days at this location. It was well worth the drive. It is clean, cozy, and private. Everything we needed was there. The owner corresponds rapidly and often when questions are asked. We had our Bernedoodle with us and he felt at home immediately. We would come back often if we lived closer. Loved the quiet morning walks near the lake.

Best vacation!

What an experience we had! The amenities available by staying in this location were so amazing (golf course, beaches, trails, etc). Our hosts were so nice and provided not only a wonderful location to stay but friendly hospitable accommodations and suggestions for activities on our stay. We truly enjoyed every minute of our stay. Not only do we hope to have future trips but definitely recommend to other travelers as well! Thank you again for everything!

Great getaway!

Beautiful and peaceful place to stay! The space was very clean, large, and comfortable. We loved having the kayaks along with our paddleboard and floats. The hosts were very responsive to questions. Highly recommend!

Not what we expected

The property was nothing like it was shown on the website. It was very small and dark. There were no ceiling lights, and the little lamps they had were dim. When I tried to use the garbage disposal, it wasn’t working, so I put my hand down in there to see if there’s anything in there stopping it and I pulled out a filthy, disgusting rag, and a piece of plastic. So when I turned it on after I cleaned it out, I made an awful racket, so didn’t use it at all. The unit overall is very outdated.

Great spot near Hot Springs!

My wife, kids and I really enjoyed our stay for a family getaway this summer. Kayaking on Lake DeSoto was fun, especially for my 9-year-old who enjoyed being able to paddle the kayak we shared together. Very nice kayaks that were easy to handle in the water, although transporting from the house to the lake took a bit of work as I kind of had to do that on my own. The house itself was very nice. Easy check-in process. Comfortable beds and pillows made our stay very restful. Convenient to Hot Springs and other places we went like Balboa Beach, which our kids really liked. The community in which we stayed had a great community pool as well, which didn't cost much at all for us to use. I think if I had 1 main critique about the house itself would be to have more towels available for guests. We washed and dried the few towels we had available a few times during our stay. Thanks for allowing us to use your property!
