Your family, friends or co-workers will love staying at this large1900's 4 bedroom vintage chic yet family friendly home in downtown Manchester, known as “Sip & Dream” vacation rental!
It's the perfect spot to stay if home for the holidays, weddings, reunions, or visiting one of the many attractions such as the White Water Rafting, Franklin St Brewery, live music at Riverbend, coffee & cupcakes at Aunt Emmys, home cooked meals at The Bread Basket or the many boutiques. Field of Dreams is just 22 min down Hwy 20 and Backbone 12 min North!

Check in was easy and everything in the house was perfect! We didn't really do much cooking but it looked like there would be everything needed to do so. Beds, linens and towels were all very good quality and spotless. We will definitely stay again when in the area!

Manchester reunion

My friends and I enjoyed our stay. The house was as described and was comfortable and clean. We loved the location to downtown. Would highly recommend if needing a place to stay in Manchester or nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our Lady's weekend. Location was near restaurants, shops, river, and some really neat houses built in the early 1900's. We fell in love with Manchester and had a blast visiting several local thrift shops. Backbone State Park is also a short trip (15-20 miles) away. We would stay again.

Incredible Host

Sip and Dream was the perfect place to stay for a recent family gathering. Abby was the best host! She gave us lots of great insight on places to eat and shop and was always there to answer our questions. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely book this VRBO again the next time we stay in Manchester!

Short Thanksgiving Stay

Small town charmer

Excellent communication with property owner; home is cozy and well kept. Plenty of hot water and beds are very comfortable. Location is just a block off Main Street and is very walkable to nearby restaurants. Highly recommend

Wedding Stay

We had a nice stay and when we had an issue with the fridge theu were quick to respond and get us a solution. She was also a huge help when we left our littles blanket.

Welcoming home in a nice location

The home was very clean and welcoming. We were able to relax and enjoy downtime away from the baseball field at this property which offered plenty of space for five of us. The host was very communicative and offered great suggestions in the area for us to consider in our free time. The check in and check out process went very smooth and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay from booking the home to check out.

So thoughtful and seamless

Everything about this stay was wonderful. The host had thought about everything we could possibly need before we got there, and she even read between the lines when we reached out and offered help we needed before we asked for it. It was clean, easy to navigate, right in the center of town and within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and grocery stores.

Perfect house close to field of dreams

This place was great! The little town was perfect. Nice and quiet but plenty of food options for us. We stayed here while playing in the field of dreams baseball tournament. It was a super easy drive to the ball fields in dyersville. Abby was a ton of help with my booking. She was always quick to respond and help when I had questions. Don’t pass up the food at river bend pub and grill!

When this property came up for sale, I was one of the first in line that day, and signed the agreement immediately after the tour! It has that "something special" about it and the charm of early 1900's along with all the modern day amenities. The downtown location, yet on a private corner with it's own driveway, cannot be beat. I fell in love with this home immediately and have set it up in a way so it's pleasant for you and your guests, whether its for a weekend or a month or two!
