The common areas accommodated everyone comfortably, and there was plenty of room for everyone to get away if they wanted some peace.

Topless Palms Beach House

This place was excellent overall. We really had a nice time and hope to come back someday. The floor plan of the house is a little quirky (I wouldn’t want to live here) but was fun for a vacation. Great views of the gulf (although needs better deck furniture) and most everything you need in the kitchen. The inside is clean and comfortable although outside definitely needs some attention. Some landscaping would liven the place up some more (you’ll see why we refer to this place as “the topless palms” beach house. It’s a good 12 to 15 minute walk to the beach. We drove and it was easy to find parking on the beach. Great place!

Great House and super location

Property location was perfect, great Gulf side views, and easy trip to the beach by golf cart. Close to everything in the Port A area. Home was clean and well appointed. Ample parking that was well off-street. The house does have some owner items, there were chairs and other things in the garage, but nothing that caused any bother. Beds were all good, showers all worked, and the kitchen had everything needed. We were 8 in total, in town for a 5 day baseball tournament, and had a perfect place to return to after games and for the down time. Would love to stay there again in the future.

The layout of the house worked very well for our family, and the kitchen was well-stocked. The built-in bunk beds downstairs were perfect for our older children, and the upstairs bathroom was luxurious. Better yet, the beds were comfortable! We will definitely return. Thank you!

Cooked Thanksgiving dinner and had most of the pans I need. Could use some pie plates, but we made do with cake pans. The old plastic plants in the living room smelled and need replaced. Plastic plants when they get old smell really bad.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed for 7 days and Overall the vacation was fun, relaxing and enjoyable. Only issues we had or noticed which were not THAT BIG OF AN ISSUE was toilets not flushing well and upstairs bedrooms were a little on the "warmer" side, which bringing our own fans seems to help with. Location and view was spectacular! Very close to beach, easier to drive to beach but still within walking distance if you prefer to walk which we did in the evenings a few times. This was our second vacation with life in paradise and will continue to vacation through this company as they make it easy and stress free. Definitely recomend the house as well as this company.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The perfect location for our winter family get-a-way. This home provided us with all the amenities for rest, relaxation and then some. The ocean view in this quiet neighborhood was perfect and the sounds of the crashing waves offered the ideal peace and tranquility expected from the beach. The spacious kitchen was our favorite hang out in this home especially since the hubs like to cook. The aroma that filled the air from prime rib for dinner and biscuits and gravy for breakfast made us feel right at home. Our family is already looking forward to returning to Port A. Happiness is... Life in Paradise!!

When it rained there was windows that were leaking. The yard wasn’t cut. And was not that easy to get internet.

No hot water, dirty showers, lvg rm tv no cable, fridge was hot -but good view

We loved the privacy & loved the layout. The view was amazing. And location was great! However, we had no hot-or even warm-water in any shower. And we gave it time to “warm up”(which sadly just gave us time to notice how dirty and hairy the shower was.). The fridge never really got cold cause it was set so high when we got there. Cable didn’t work in living room. Definitely plan to go in and wipe things down, the coffee table had old crusty stuff on it and you could tell it had not been wiped down in a while. Finally, when we heated up the oven-the worst smell happened! Someone before us left a huge pan of ribs in the oven and they were rotten and molded, we unintentionally just warmed them up and had to deal with the terrible smell. Did not try calling management. I think a keypad for this property would be helpful because the check in / check out process and office location is not convenient at all.

Stayed from July 5 through July 9th

We enjoyed the property. Wasn’t able to do much outside or at the beach because it rained every day. The kitchen island was a great gathering place for games and meals. Overall the house is really nice and would book it again.

Almost perfect

Our 5-day stay was very fun and would have been mostly perfect with a few changes. The kitchen is amazing! We loved the "coffee bar" except there were no coffee mugs; also, it needed a full sized kitchen trash can to handle actual cooking. For the 8 people staying here, I expected more than 6 bath towels. We did bring our own beach towels, but luckily I packed a few extra bath towels. Two of the three showers are open ended, and there was a lot of water to clean up on the floor. The ground floor really needs its own bathroom, at least a sink and toilet. I know that the owners are still making renovations as construction materials are still present. We did enjoy the large dining table as a place for games, but the chairs are quite heavy and difficult to maneuver. Many windows in common areas that could have had blinds (and needed them to keep the heat/light out) were simply left open, and due to the salty sea breeze, were dirty. We loved having the extra refrigerator in the garage for drinks, but it was not mentioned in the listing. Overall, we loved many parts of our trip and would recommend it to others, with just a few additions.

Large house with plenty of room

The property was great but the walk to the beach was a bit longer than expected as there is no direct path to walk down. Plenty of room for large groups or families. The check in process was a little annoying since we had to drive to a separate location to pick up the keys.

Excellent location!

Plenty of room for 2 couples. Yes the house had a few door issues, so we called, and Matt came out on a Sunday. We didn't have to wait on him, and he was able to fix things up. Would love to stay there again. In August , there was no marsh water around the house.
