" Casa del Mar" (House by the Sea) is a unique property located only a quarter mile from the ocean. The house is nestled in 4 acres of forestry creating a quiet and secluded haven. Outside you enjoy special amenities including an outdoor kitchen and seating space, perfect for entertaining or just taking in the sounds of nature. This home offers close proximity to Devil’s Kitchen beach access with miles of coastline studded with stunning rock formations and picture perfect sunsets!
The space
The Casa has it all! The outdoor kitchen and seating area is great for grilling and chilling during happy hour! The home boasts a large, open kitchen fully stocked with pots and pans so guests can enjoy a home cooked meal. The upper main level includes an incredible dining room with panoramic forest views and a warm sun room for relaxing. This house features massive windows and skylights that flood the home with natural light! The indoor/outdoor connection of this house is perfect for nature lovers or anyone looking for a tranquil escape!

Excellent vacation getaway

Beautiful secluded getaway that has everything. Made a great place to come back to after exploring Bandon and surrounding areas. Very close to Devil's Kitchen beach access which was nice.

We had such a lovely stay at Casa Del Mar! The house is nestled in a peaceful, quiet setting that made it easy to relax and unwind. It was beautifully decorated—clean, cozy, and so inviting, it truly felt like a home away from home. We were welcomed with a thoughtful basket of goodies (including a bottle of wine!), which was such a sweet touch. The host was attentive, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Casa Del Mar exceeded our expectations! It is a beautiful, property where we felt like we were in the forest, while located just minutes from Bandon amenities and the beautiful beaches.Jack and Suzanne have created a wonderful retreat with lovely artistic touches and a great deal of thought to amenities. Plenty of outdoor spaces, an adorable games/play area, and all the modern comforts.Communication was outstanding and welcoming. We look forward to our next opportunity to enjoy Casa Del Mar. Bandon Stay for Golf

Place is neat and clean....Upstairs is modern and comfortable........downstairs is a little dated and bathroom snug but usable. The bedroom up the stairs and off basement area with the window looking at a moon mural lit up all night with stairs to a cellar below was odd.The host was very accommodating and 5 plus stars for him. Great communication and welcoming! Would stay here again for sure. If looking for a place close to Bandon Dunes I would recommend.

Great VRBO

We were in BANDON for golf but couldn’t get accommodations at the golf resort . Casa Del Mar was plan B , but couldn’t have worked out better. . The home is spacious, clean , and comfortable . It was convenient and close to the golf course . Best of all it was a fraction of the golf resort room rate . The home is well furnished , decorated, and equiped . We highly recommend Casa Del Mar

Modern Private Cabin

Beautiful modern clean cabin with everything one needs. Great location, private and secluded nestled in trees but close to businesses such as a grocery store, restaurants, gas, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

Bandon Dunes golf trip

The property was not far from downtown Bandon and was spacious yet cozy. Hosts did an amazing job of communicating and creating a special experience. Above and beyond. Highly recommend!

A perfect retreat

This house is better than the pictures. Very spacious, so much charm, a great kitchen for a person who wants to cook, and just so many extras that we didn't expect. We will definitely rent this property again.

This is an extremely well kept home with beautiful decor and a very relaxing vibe. So many areas to hang out and enjoy the company of family and/or friends. Highly recommend! Super close to Devil’s Kitchen beach access.

What a treat!

Jack and Susanne have a hidden gem in Bandon. Great location and well stocked home if you like to prepare your own meals and relax. This retreat has the best of both worlds with beach and forest. We played Bandon Dunes 3 days and this home is a perfect place to call home base. Thank you!

Thanksgiving in Bandon

My 7 year old grandson wants to move in permanently. Bed in downstairs room was good. Kitchen was easy to make a dinner great diinner for all of us. Hope to rent again.

Tranquility and Peaceful beautiful place

The communication with response time and answering questions or concerns was definitely reasonable. I loved the welcoming note on the fridge and wine bottle on the counter. It made us feel at ease and comfortable. The home is beautiful, with coastal and woodsy vibes. I definitely would stay here again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property.

Spacious Bandon getaway

Great place, very secluded and private but super close to town. Was not a big fan of waiting until the last minute to get check in details as we were coming from a long distance but everything worked out fine. House is very spacious and clean and had all we needed. If you have kids there is plenty of games and stuff to keep them entertained. Great value for the area. We will be back.

Bandon Getaway

This is our second time staying at Jack's place and I'm sure it will not be our last. We love how close to beach access it is. We also love the sun room and the dining room area. The kitchen is full of everything you would need. It is very kid friendly with lots of games and puzzles. We loved the addition of the I spy table and the little wooden pinball machine. It was pretty rainy during our stay so it was nice to have things to do inside the house. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Summer Beach Family Gathering

We had a great time. The house and property could not have been better! Easy and close access to beaches and town. The property was very dog friendly, our pooches, ran, played catch and enjoyed the enormous yard. The adults hung out in the sun room, quite a luxury or gathered around the dining table with an incredible view of the Coastal Sitka Spruce trees. The homeowner was very timely and responsive to our requests when we reached out to him. I highly recommend this "Casa" as a great retreat for families older or younger.

Peace in the Woods

We had 5 adults in the house and we all loved the stay. From the sunny front porch to the big windows overlooking the private woods in the back to the unique, fun layout. Also, the hosts had such a nice welcome basket out for us. We were hiking during the day and it was a treat to have something to nibble on when we walked in the door. It was a A+ trip. We hope to visit again soon! One thing of note is check-in time. Be aware of it when making plans.

Meeting up with great friends.

We live in the Yosemite area and our friends live in the Snohomish Wa area. Every year we meet somewhere in Oregon for a long weekend of catching up and fun. Casa del Mar was the perfect place to meet and enjoy time together. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the home and property and the attention to details. We enjoyed cooking together and enjoyed the great room. We enjoyed the sunrooms for chilling, games and meals. With all the windows it felt like you were outside enjoying nature even when inside. Dogs enjoyed the home and the property, lots of zoomy time for them. Access to the beach was an easy walk and also stopped at the dog park which is beautiful. This home will be on our list to meet at again. Thanks Jack for sharing your home.

This property is secluded, with the beach and Bandon very accessible. Jack and Meghan seemed to have thought of everything you may need or want. The only thing we couldn't find was a potholder/oven mitt, but there were plenty of kitchen towels to fill in. We loved it and will be looking for this place first the next time we go to the area.
