Enjoy beautiful sunsets from the deck or sunroom overlooking the water. This nicely renovated 4 bedroom house features two very modern bathrooms. The kitchen has everything someone needs to cook and can seat ten at the dining table for those large family meals.

Guests can get a workout on the canoe or and those who are looking for a place to "work from home", there's a great desk with a view. While this is a secluded area, we have great internet and tv for those downtimes.

Absolute perfect spot for a quiet, relaxing vacation. Love the decor of the house, open, air layout, perfect for everyone to hang out in and beautifully decorated. The views from the house and the dock are breathtaking especially decorated. Bring a book and your binoculars and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Sweet cabin getaway

This was a lovely place to stay, with a beautiful outdoor fire place, lovely lake views, and a roomy space. The closest grocery store/other stores are 20 minutes away, so you’ll be getting off the grid.

Relaxing on Jackson Creek

This house is very comfortable, clean & well equipped. Great views from the sun porch - I could sit there all day. The dock and canoe were very convenient too. The views were stunning and it's very quiet in this stretch of Jackson Creek. Dog friendly was a bonus too. We really enjoyed our stay.

The home was perfect for my group. There were 8 of us and we all had out own place to sleep without feeling crowded. The dock was a perfect place to spend the mornings with your coffee and a good book or podcast. A bench on the dock would have made it more perfect, but bringing a chair down from the patio worked as well. The grill worked great, but I think it may be out of propane. The main shower was the highlight. I think all of us took longer showers than we needed to. It is huge and amazing and there was usually banging on the door from taking too long in there. Overall, fantastic place and I will be booking this location again next year for our next gathering.

Nature Based Activities and a Relaxing Rive View

A great place to bring youth who can connect to beeches, river environment and, yes, nearby farm lands to see what is growing on in Virginia. Adults and young people will enjoy the indoor and outdoor options of this large home. The quiet and peaceful views of the river are a healing change for all ages. All the basics are there for a great trip away but not too far away from home.

Super Fun Labor Day

We have a boat at Coles Point Marina and this house was only 15 minutes from there, so super convenient. The house was awesome! Completely remodeled and kept up beautifully. Lots of fun outdoor things to do there from crabbing, fishing, boating, and a small evening fire. Nice flat front yard for Cornhole. We were even visited by the friendly neighbors dogs. My wife said she would be okay if we didn’t leave. Haha. Will be definitely staying here again!!!

Owner doesn’t care

When we arrived the ice maker didn’t work no big deal. Arrived Monday never told owner about ice maker then on Tuesday got a text repairman coming Wednesday the fridge could not be fixed then we were told the freezer has been starting and stopping working for over a week. We had a lot of food we brought for the week all spoiled no one told us there was an issue with the freezer. We lost about $100 in meat. Another fridge was delivered at Thursday 8:30pm toke over an hour to set up and my son-in-law had to help. Fridge was laid down in an SUV so we had no fridge at all for three hours until it could be plugged in. We lost most of the food in the fridge. I asked if we could be reimbursed for the lost food and have heard nothing. To make matters worse the fridge that was delivered was dirty and had old meat in freezer and the ice maker doesn’t work.

Any guest that has stayed with us knows that if they raise an issue, we try our best to solve it as quickly as possible and any guest that sends us private feedback after their stay about things that they "wish we had", we end of getting. We love having folks at this property who enjoy the view with their friends and family for a nice vacation. Most guests are polite and understand that issues happen, and we always apologize for this situations. Unfortunately, this guest was unnecessarily rude to my team and I. In this particular situation, we had find out there was an issue with this 2 year old refrigerator's ice maker from a previous guest (who we did refund money to) and the repair man that came told us it could not be fixed. So, within 24 hours we had a new fridge purchased and driven from two hours away in order to solve the problem. An "owner who doesn't care" would not have even solved the issue. So, it's unfortunate that she decided to rate us like she did because of this, but we welcome other to experience Jackson Creek's sunset (with a new fridge).

Wonderful Experience

We rented the house to celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary and Thanksgiving with family. The house is beautiful, and it was so relaxing to look out at the water. The house worked very well for our family, and everyone was comfortable. There were multiple options for places to sit and look at Jackson Creek, read, chat or do puzzles.

Peaceful Getaway

We had a fabulous time is this beautiful home. Gorgeous view of the water is just as described. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck, taking in the view. Interior of the home was spotless; the beds were quite comfortable and we enjoyed a lovely kitchen with all of the necessities provided. We had to contact the owner a couple of times with questions and found them to be responsive and helpful. We would certainly visit again!

Vacation at Jackson Creek

Great Sunset every night! This is a great place, nice yard and deck and lovely renovated home. Large enough for a family with kids. It was my wife and I and two dogs. Perfect 'Mud Room' to help get some of the muddy paws clean. Nicely done LVP floors. Comfortable bed and linens. Awesome double shower with bench in larger bathroom. The owner is very responsive and a gem to work with. Thank u so much!
