Bright, spacious, brand new construction in perfect location with gorgeous 180 degree ocean views and incredible outdoor living spaces! Steps to beach and canal. Gorgeous, fresh architectural details from the entry way to the living room. Plenty of room to spread out inside and out as you enjoy sunrises and sunsets from double ocean facing porches - perfect for outdoor dining, entertaining, or napping on the swing bed! Private heated/cooled pool with 10x12 foot covered/shaded patio ideal for more outdoor relaxing and entertaining! When you’re ready to settle in to your vacation home, let the elevator do the heavy lifting for your luggage and grocery needs! Large, bright kitchen with beautiful walk-in pantry, double oven with full size air fryer, commercial grade beverage fridge to keep your drinks chilled! Fully stocked kitchen and all soap/paper products. When you're ready to head out for the day, we're less than a two minute walk to trails along the canal on the left or the wide, beautiful beach on the right! Enjoy a short five minute bike ride to many of the sweet spots on the island: Middleton Park (child friendly water park and playground, Farmer’s Market, and Summer Concerts in the Park), Pepperoni Grill (great pizza!), the canal at 40th street (enjoy crabbing and fishing), the Island Way restaurant (a treat for outdoor drinks and dining) and the 9th Street Pier (great for fishing), and more! For additional adventures, head into the historic sea town of Southport for some shopping, or catch the ferry to Fort Fisher aquarium. On the drive home, you’ll want to stop by the boardwalk in Carolina Beach to try the famous Britt’s donuts, voted best in the nation. When you're ready to unwind at the end of a busy day, we've got you covered! Fall asleep listening to the sounds of the ocean from one of the ocean-view bedrooms! The house includes two primary bedrooms, each with king-sized beds and ensuite baths, a third king-sized bedroom shares a full bath with the fourth bedroom that sleeps 4-6 people with double bunk beds that have twin beds over full size beds. It's time to kick off your flop flops and let the vacation begin! We're ready for you!

Labeled as 'part fish' my entire life, I have always dreamed of having my own home by the sea. Being married to an architectural engineer, I also wanted to live in a home he designed. After raising our own children and welcoming grandchildren into our family, the timing was finally right for us to pursue our dream of beach living. As we designed and furnished White Caps Cottage, we poured a lot of heart into the home to make it family friendly and easy for relaxing because we vacation here, too!

We found this property on a gray, blustery day. We loved the single story, low lying homes around us and knew a home on this lot would have amazing ocean views. We love all of the wildlife in the canals and were super excited to realize we were less than a two minute walk to the canal trails and a bridge that allows us to walk across the canal and explore the local birds, and alligators (yes! at our street!) Once we started building and could access the views from the two floors above the ground, we knew we had found a true treasure! Come see for yourself all that our home and the island have to offer!
