Consisting of two floors of living with a fully equipped kitchen with walk in pantry, there is everything you need at this property and more! Additionally, a private outdoor patio lets you enjoy a fire with family and friends while cooking out on your private grill. Whether you are a large family, corporate group or wedding party, this is your perfect escape to Lake Placid!

Winter get away

Great place, plenty of room for everyone. They had kids plates, and dining wear, also a high chair for those with little ones. We plan to come back in the summer.

Marcy-Lake Placid

A spectacular residence and location in downtown Lake Placid. A short walk to town. The Unit/House had everything we needed. All the comforts of home and more. Clean and Spacious. The kids really enjoyed the pool table and their private space. We will certainly rent again. Mike, your awesome. Can’t thank you enough for the communication and ease of check in. Annual Lake Placid Winter Vaca

This is the second time staying at Marcy and just like the first time, the whole family loved it! Plenty of space, parking and is within walking distance to downtown. Mike (owner) is very responsive and makes sure we have everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay

The lodge is great. Super convenient to going into town. A 5 minute walk to the center. Large enough for 10+ people and very accurate with the posting.

Mike was a great property manager and was prompt at answering any questions we had. House was clean well stocked. Short walk to the Main Street of lake placid. Would recommend for family gatherings.

Shared housing, many amenities

Great place to stay near Lake mirror but it's not as easy or short to walk thru construction to get to main street. Some expected toiletries missing from bathrooms but everything clean and kitchen/pantry was well stocked. The pergola was nice but not as well maintained, wood was damp and lights did not work. Property manager was not available within couple hours, but we used alternative lighting to enjoy our grilled dinner! Overall kids friendly with some adjustments. They have two very useful pack and play bassinets FYI.

Great spot

Marcy is a great space with a perfect kitchen/dining space for large groups. Bedrooms and layout were perfect and clean. The property could have used some upkeep prior to our arrival: there was considerable ice and snow at the entry and the outdoor fire and deck were not cleaned of snow. But we would return to this great location and space close to town and with ample parking.

Beautiful home, great location!

This is a great house and location. The only 2 complaints I have are the dog hair from previous renters maybe? It was all over couches and the floors could’ve been better at cleaning them up . And the dishwasher isn’t great. Very minor issues for the great visit!

Retirement Celebration

We chose Lake Placid to celebrate my husband's retirement with friends! This house was amazing! Plenty of room for us all! The weather was unseasonably warm and we enjoyed the deck and fire pit. The location is perfect. Just a short walk to town. We recommend The Black Bear Restaurant and the mountain coaster.

Marcy House Lake Placid

This property is very well appointed and our family of ten thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The quiet residential location is a short walk to Main Street and although the house is connected to other properties, it's very private and we never heard anyone else. Due to COVID, we cooked all our meals and had everything we needed, including many sized pots and pans and more than enough quality dishes and utensils, all stored in a very large walk in pantry. Linens are also higher quality. House is bright and has an open layout which works nicely when many people are staying together - there's enough space for everyone to gather, but still have privacy when desired. Note that the upstairs suite may work better for families with children as the twin beds in the adjoining room aren't the best for adults. Unfortunately, the wet weather prevented us from using the private patio and fire pit, but it's also stocked with fire wood and has a nice seating area, and the upstairs rec area with pool table also provides entertainment. The only thing missing is a fireplace. Other than some reservation delays and a minor parking issue, this house worked out very well for us and we would definitely consider renting it again.

Amazing stay in Lake Placid

Marcy is a beautiful property, spacious, clean, well equipped and centrally located. We were 2 families, with 2 kids each and everyone loved it. The outdoor Firepit on a cold fall night after a long day of hiking was the perfect way to end the day. Every morning you wake up to an amazing view from all the bedrooms. You can walk to mirror lake and enjoy and nice meal or ice cream. Bonnie was very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be back soon.
