Bachelorette trip

Very nice house! Great communication with host and clear on check out/check in. We had an issue with a door and it was solved within 5 mins, very responsive! Definitely would stay again and recommend!

Great for Family Reunion. Thoughtful Owners.

We booked this house as a first time family reunion. We had 5 couples and 4 children ( 17 people) staying for a long weekend. The house was a great size for our event with plenty of bedrooms and common space for everyone. We enjoyed the hot tub and location was ideal for traveling into town.Owners were very responsive with a few issues we encountered. Grill did not work but they tried their best to assist us. Most importantly we forgot my sons favorite stuffed animal there upon leaving. Eric and Seth helped us located the stuffed animal and mailed it back to us free of charge. My son was so happy to have his favorite dog back. Appreciate the thoughtfulness they extend to their guests. Would recommend and stay again.

Really cool, large house in Lake Placid. We had 14 traveling for the SLU Carnival, and this house easily accommodated all of us. Large kitchen, lots of beds, beautiful antique home. Just a great stay! Hosts were great with anything we needed

Amazing place!

One of our favorite trips so far!We did a big family ski trip up here and the place was amazing!We are pretty picky when it comes to cleanliness, etc. this was top notch! We are already looking into coming back next year!

Excellent stay at a rambling home

Stayed here with 3 related families, so much room to spread out and give both kids and adults their space. Great bunk room for the kids. Lots of space for eating at the table. Well stocked home with everything needed to stay there. Beds seemed comfortable. Fun games in the game room for the kids. Hot tub and outdoor space was great. Even though the house is on the main road, was quiet for sleeping.

Perfect house for our family

We had a wonderful stay in this home. The home is cozy and beautifully decorated. Our children shed many tears as we had to leave =) This home was close to downtown which was a huge plus for us with our children --- easy to come and go.

Family Thanksgiving

Great house as advertised. Huge house, great amenities ,great ADK decor and location near the village. Resort next door is so nice for drinks and food. Lake Placid is just a great location this time of year during the holidays. Owner is very responsive to all needs or questions and very customer friendly overall. I would definetly consider this same house when we return.

The perfect weekend getaway

We had a group of 10 women for a bachelorette party, and the property exceeded our expectations. This cozy, Adirondack aesthetic was perfect for relaxing and entertaining all weekend long. We wish we could have extended our stay to enjoy every aspect of the property as one weekend was just not enough time. We hope to be back again!

We had a great family reunion. The house was large with plenty of room to spread out. It was clean and well stocked. Because we were over the limit of people staying, we were able to rent the apartment Eric had next door. It was perfect. The outside fireplace and hot tub were really nice at the end of a long day. We loved being right up the hill from Mirror Lake. Mini golf right next door was great and the house had so many rooms! Very nice place and would love to stay again.

Great weekend

Perfect for my family reunion. There were 11 of us including my 4 adult grandchildren and lots of room for everyone . Beautifully furnished, clean and well supplied. Village was nearby and fun to explore. We spent two days climbing local mountains Hurricane and Jo with fabulous views.

Excellent! Perfect for our family reunion - large spaces to spread out on first floor and awesome 3rd floor game room/bar for all ages. And for once, we all got to eat at the same table! Lake Placid town is a quick drive and grocery stores/shopping right near by. Will definitely be back.

Nice for large families

Wonderful location- within 1-2 mile walking distance to various activities. Host receptive and prompt with questions and answers! If we ever go back to this area we would definitely choose this place again! Great place for children of all ages- the older boy cousins loved being able to all sleep in the bunk bed room!

I was expecting more. Had a frat house feel. Inside smelled like cat litter/wet dog. Outside was shabby. Dishes in cabinets weee dirty. Most furniture was old. Would prob be fine for a bachelor party but not ideal for family.

Stunning house!

We come to lake placid every year with 12 people. We’ve stayed in different houses and this one is by far our favorite. The property owner responds quickly to messages. While we did not have a pet, the house was very pet friendly and had a crate, dog bowls, and even a little room and gate. The house is very updated (by far the most updated we’ve seen in the Adirondack’s in our price range) and we absolutely loved the third floor game room with an Xbox, ping pong table, foose ball table, and wet bar. The hot tub was a hit with our group as well. The temperature in the house was perfect and we could adjust as necessary. We will be back!
