Enjoy a Gulf Coast getaway at Plantation Palms, a beachfront building that sits down the Fort Morgan Peninsula in Gulf Shores! Whether it's lounging on the white sand, relaxing by the on-site pools and hot tub, or practicing your serve on the tennis court, you're sure to have a great time.

In-home features include a fully equipped kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances, free cable TV on a new smart-mounted TV and WiFi, and a private balcony with direct views of the Gulf of Mexico overlooking the pool area. Central air conditioning and a private washer/dryer round out the modern essentials.

THINGS TO KNOW
The parking fee for this vacation rental is $35. Instructions for purchasing the required parking pass will be included in your confirmation email.
Only valid service animals will be allowed that are registered/checked-in with security at arrival, but if a service animal is causing an issue such as barking (other than a medical emergency), not on leash and properly controlled, seen as aggressive or approaching others, or defecating in any way in the common grounds areas, they will be evicted.
The Palms building hot tub opens September 16 - May 14 and will be closed May 15 - September 15.
A queen sofa bed offers extra sleeping space.

Great location away from the crowds

We loved being further away from the crowds and having plenty of beach to spread out. The condo is comfortable, the view is amazing, and the owners are attentive and delightful.

Excellent stay

We loved our stay! The condo was wonderful and everything we needed! The location was wonderful and we loved having the pool available too. Doug was a great host!! We hope to return soon!

Great beach location!

The condo was awesome!! The host Doug was great. The kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils, etc. Great view of pools and beach. Fast walk to beach and pools. We enjoyed the restaurant in site. Highly recommend

Nice relaxing stay

We found the unit to be a great for what we needed. It’s really close to the beach and there are pools and tennis courts for things to do besides the beach. We found the twin beds were great for our two kids. The kitchen was fully equipped and enjoyed the flexibility to make a meal and sit out on the balcony with the view of the beach. Overall we found it to be a good value and we had a nice stay.

Great Place to Relax

Our stay here was seamless. Everything was great. Since we cooked our meals in, we appreciated the wonderfully stocked kitchen. The condo was beautiful and super clean. The view from the balcony is amazing and so relaxing to have morning coffee sitting at the patio table. Our owner was super to work with and always kept us well informed. Thanks for a great vacation.

Nice for the price

This unit was clean and well-supplied. The balcony and views were nice, and there were lots of items we didn't expect, such as pool toys, a volleyball, books, board games, and tons of dishes. The sofa was a bit uncomfortable and some of the lamps don't work. All-in-all, it was a nice trip!

Great stay!

The room was clean, well furnished and as advertised. The shower was AMAZING!! The view was awesome. Everything worked and the property owner was easy and fast to communicate with. No problems at all. However, the riptides here no joke, so be careful and watch your kids. Everyone here is very friendly, helpful, courteous and kind. I would definitely come back and recommend to friends and family (but only those like). 😀

Gulf Shores Trip - July 2020

Very nice and fun vacation. First time in the Gulf Shores area, so we did not have a good feel for how close (or far) restaurants were to the property. Turned out we were a good 25 minutes outside of downtown Gulf Shores, but it ended up working out. Beaches were not as crowded, and you could easily walk down from the main property to find a less congested beach area. It all depends on what you are looking for. There were a few local restaurants that were good too (Sassy Bass as an example). Condo owner was very friendly and provided a lot of good information about the condo and area prior to our arrival. We would recommend this location and property to friends.

Great view but needs work

Have stayed in this unit in the past, and was looking forward to staying again. However it has gone downhill. It needs a thorough cleaning, repairs, and update. Door to unit would not catch and lock unless slammed HARD. Furniture was dated and worn. There were broken light fixtures and burned out light bulbs throughout. Washer was so moldy and smelly it was unusable. View is fantastic

Fun Stay

We had a fun time on our family vacation. The condo could use some updating. The silk plants look like they’ve never been dusted. The furniture is pretty worn and dated. There was only 1 trash bag for the entire time. More towels would be helpful so we’re not having to wash them every single day. The dryer is awfully loud. We had to put something heavy on top of it so it wouldn’t rattle. The property itself was a bit dirty. Saw trash on the ground. I’ve stayed at Plantation Palms 5 or 6 times, and never had any issues. This particular condo just needs some TLC.

Perfect family friendly condo next to the beach

This property was exactly as listed. My senior parents down to my seven year old thoroughly enjoyed the space and amenities. Very close/easy beach access, deck patio was fantastic, plus the view was spot on. We enjoyed the on-site pools day and early evening. Close drive to Gulf Shores for grocery needs and we also enjoyed a day at Adventure Island which was a short drive to Orange Beach for the kiddo. And only ate out once (we cooked in the kitchen mostly) but The Sloop after Adventure Island provided great take out, and a fun bar food atmosphere while I waited for our food. There was construction every morning starting at 8am, and while not perfect it was understandable. And ended quickly. It won't be going on forever, so I suspect future visitors will hear it less and less. 100% what we expected and maybe better! We all had a great time. Would love to book again in the future and will definitely recommend to others!

Accuracy of Listing

We were in town for a softball tournament and had specifically chosen this room because it had a washer and dryer in the room. When we went to use the washing machine, it was not functioning. It was too late to call anyone that evening but the next morning before I was able to call anyone, I received a phone call telling me that someone was coming out to look at the washing machine. Which means that it had been reported by a previous occupant that it was not functional and we were not made aware of this before or on arrival. Other than this, the room was very clean and perfect for our stay.
