Gran apartamento frente a la playa con vista al mar en un complejo maravilloso en la mejor playa de Gulf Shores. Apartamento ha sido recientemente renovado con nuevos colchones, televisores y muebles; un lugar muy agradable y relajante para quedarse. Ver el oleaje desde el sofá de la sala de estar o la cocina gourmet que comida con un pescado fresco. Atrapa a ese juego importante con el nuevo 50 'TV LED y un segundo 32' TV LED en el dormitorio, en caso de que otros no creo que el juego es tan importante. 48 mbps de Internet en el apartamento, 58 canales por cable con HBO, nuevos colchones de espuma de memoria en cada cama.

Property and location was wonderful, the house itself was outdated with issues. The sinks wouldnt drain. Bath tub wouldnt shut off, smoke alarm did not stay on ceiling. Smelled like smoke. The cleaning people look like they just switched out towels and left. Sand and food on floor, someone sand toys outside still. Love the property but just wish it had some issues checked out before stay and little more cleaning before our time.

We had a great time. The condo was nice. The owners were easy to work with and it was easy access to the beach, pool, and other amenities. I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back.

Wonderful getaway

The unit is comfortable, clean, and within a short walk to the beach. The pools are well maintained and inviting. The food and drinks at the restaurant on the property are delicious!

Good property

The property is very good. The unit was a bit outdated. Ceiling peeling in shower. Needs to be repainted. Needs more cooking pans etc. That being said it was functional. Love the availability of hot tubs and pools.

The property was nice. The condo was not. The tv did not work, trashy towels, pretty sure there was sand in the bed, crappy matress, the kitchen needs an update. Oven door is about to fall off , rust on the outside of the fridge, wine opener broken , no baking pans . Just not equipped properly.. i had been communicating by email with owner but when i asked about the tv no response. Will not stay there again.

We loved that the place was so close to the beach. Location was great. The beds were nice slept good. The only things that need changed is the fridge and the dining set. Better seats on the deck would be a plus. But other then that we had a great time and would book again.

Beach Family Vacation

The resort/ property was exactly as listed. The condo was spacious enough for our family of four. The bathrooms & kitchen were well equipped. The beds were comfortable. Family room had ample seating. Balcony allowed a beach view. Easy access to beach that wasn’t overcrowded & away from tourists areas. The owner was quick to reply to any questions. Thank you for our stay and sharing your piece of paradise.

Needs updates

The property is in a great location. Condo needs serious updates. Rust on appliances, oven door was broken. Furniture is broken. Tv in the bedroom didn’t work. AC went out our first morning there but it was promptly fixed. Communication with host was good. A lot of things need to be fixed and updated.

We asked for Wi-Fi pass word but never received answer. The property was very nice, we really enjoyed the property and our stay. The queen bed in the master bed was terrible. My wife and I both had sore backs as it is very uncomfortable. You both just roll to the center.

Overall great stay!

This was our second time to stay at this unit! We love the two large pools and very beautiful courtyard. The condo itself is just as pictured and described. The only issues we had was the mater bedroom tv didn’t work but we didn’t have much time to watch tv anyways and there wasn’t any outdoor furniture on the balcony. The walk to the beach is not bad at all! Would definitely recommend for a small family and we would definitely stay again if we come back to the area! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful condo with us!

Affordable, close to beach

There was a lot of rust and dust but it was an affordable beach front rental. Everything was in working order. Expect to pay parking fee at security entrance. Indoor pool card was available in kitchen. Pots and pans were limited and old. No pot holders and a basic coffee pot provided . The front door is definitively ajar and cracked down the inside of edge, and you could probably slide a card down and open the door to the room. We had to call the owner for Wi-Fi password. There was a few handwritten notes for checkout and one email with directions to rental but other than that there was not a ton of information as I’ve seen with other rentals in this area. There could be more information pertaining to the site amenities as we’ve stayed in other rentals here. I would not stay here again.

We fished most of the time so we really didn't stay in the room that much. The beds had memory foam which made them super comfortable.

A fantastic week

We have never stayed at Fort Morgan but will definitely come back. It's beautiful and quiet compared to other beaches. The Plantations is a great resort with multiple pools, hot tubs, an on-site restaurant/bar and nowhere ever seemed crowded or loud. Beaches were clean and beautiful. The condo itself has everything you need and was nice. The condo owner was very accommodating when we needed to change the date of our stay and also very patient when I called him once we arrived with a question. Some minor things are a little dated as said in some other reviews, but nothing major. A great stay, thank you!

Nice location but very outdated

Overall, the location was great for our family. The balcony had a nice view, but most of the chairs were broken so we couldn’t all enjoy it. As soon as we walked in the condo, the smell was overpowering. It had a very musty smell mixed with stale smoke. We tried to get rid of the smell, but it was impossible. The pots, pans, and dishes were dirty. We washed everything before we used them, but some were so old/rusted/scratched I didn’t feel comfortable using them. The comforters were very old and looked dirty, one even had a hole in the side where the stuffing was coming out. I understand the condo’s price is very reasonable for the location, but clearly we found out why.

Room overall wasnt bad but refrigerator needs updated its rusted, the front door is not secure like someone tried kicking the door in at one time. Other than those items the room is very comforting and we had a pleasant stay as we always do when we come down every year

Nice stay

It was a nice plce to stay with easy access to the beach. There were a couple of questions, well mainly the door. I do believe in other reviews it is mentioned, but at some point the door was kicked in or busted in and really should be fixed. Other than that it was very nice. The beds were nice and not hard to sleep in and the furniture was comfortable as well. The beach at the location is great for families due to it not being over populated. It alson is only a 12-15 min drive to the more touristy area; famliy food games, and entertainment.

My father is from the Gulf Coast of Alabama and I have been vacationing in Gulf Shores my whole life since I was a tyke the early 60s. I have been to beaches all over the world and these are among the nicest I know of anywhere. Fort Morgan is a special place and the Gulf Shores Plantation Resort offered us everything we wanted right there in one place, where we wanted it, Fort Morgan. The beaches at the resort are fabulous- white sand, beautiful water, herons that walk right by you, pelicans, and wide open pristine beaches.
