Friday - Friday rental during in season - enjoy the beach while others battle traffic Sat & Sun!!

Minimum 3 night rental during off season.

Ideal small family OBX beach box with walkable public beach access (700ft to Sutton Avenue Public Beach Access). Families will love the close proximity to the beach and surrounding amenities.

Fresh linens and towels are provided. Beds will be made when you arrive!

Pet friendly home - up to 2 dogs (see details in rental agreement).
Keyless entry!

Two levels:
Downstairs - Guests will enter into a private living area with a large sectional and TV connecting with a kitchen area and a full bathroom. Off to the left is a bedroom with a queen bed. Downstairs also offers a separate gathering area with laundry, refrigerator, beach supplies.
Upstairs - Guests will access the main living area through a side door and/or sliding door from the upper deck. Upstairs and Downstairs do not connect via an interior staircase.
The main hall connects three bedrooms (twin bunk beds, queen, and queen with private bathroom) and a hallway bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essential amenities.

Outdoor area includes enclosed outdoor shower, fire pit, and fenced backyard.

The property is furnished and includes linens and towels - linens for 3 queens and 2 twin beds (bunk bed), bath towels for 8 occupants, 1 floor mat per bathroom, 2 hand towels per bathroom, and 1 kitchen towel. Fitted sheets, flat sheets, pillow cases are laundered in between stays.

A starter supply of household cleaning and hygiene products will be provided including: starter roll of paper towels, toilet paper in all bathrooms, laundry detergent, hand soap, dish soap, and dishwasher pods. Additional laundry products, cleaning products, and paper products are not furnished. Tenant is responsible for purchasing any additional supplies and all food and beverages.

Access to streaming services through ROKU TVs. There are two (2) ROKU TVs and two (2) ROKU remotes provided – one upstairs and one downstairs. Tenant(s) will have access to free ROKU apps and subscription apps like HULU, YouTube TV, Netflix, Pandora, etc. Guests must use their own accounts for subscription services. ROKU Guest Mode will automatically log users out of accounts upon Check-Out Date.

OBX Beach House Tranquility

Enjoyed staying in this house

We usually rent a house a couple of times a year at obx. This was one of our favorites. Peaceful colors, relaxing atmosphere, roomy, simple non-busy decor with no fuss, and well stocked with the beach access right down the street. It was a good fit for our family and doggies!

Great location and dog friendly

Brian’s house is convenient to both the beach, groceries and restaurants. Neighbors were close but friendly. The house allows pets and includes a washer, dryer and outdoor shower that were easily accessed from the ground floor.

Beautiful home close to the beach

Family and pet friendly home walking distance to the beach. As soon as we walked in it felt like home. Beautifully decorated, cozy and all the special touches a beach home should be. Had everything we needed and so much more! Bryan and Lindsay were great hosts! We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to the Outer Banks.

Great Stay!

This is a very cute cottage and nicely decorated. It’s about 700 feet from the beach. It was clean and had a fenced in backyard for our Golden Retriever. The Owner was very nice and communicative. He quickly responded to any of my messages. Will definitely stay there again!

Terrific location

Our stay was perfect. The house was in a great location with a short walk, straight shot to the beach. Great location to restaurants, etc. The house was set up as advertised. Clean and comfortable. Nice fenced in yard for the pup helped out a lot. Bryan (Host) was great to work with through the whole process. Communications is always key and he was right on point. We hope to return. Come and unwind ……

We had a wonderful peaceful relaxing vacation. The location is excellent . Our son and daughter -in -law (including 2 small children)came for the weekend and we had plenty of room for all of us to hang out. The home is well stocked with everything you will need to feel right at home. We look forward to staying there again.

Great week at the beach

We had a great week at the beach! the house was about a 5 min walk to a public beach access. Although the house had several beach chairs, buckets, and a beach cart we had taken our own. We used the outdoor shower a lot due to it being spacious and easy access. We also used the fire pit one night to cook s'mores. Just be aware that there is not a stairway inside the house connecting the first floor to the second floor. The stairway is outside but this was not a problem. Not only is there a downstairs bedroom but a room with a TV and sofa. The house is convenient to the Wright Brothers memorial, lots of restaurants, movie theatre, and grocery stores.

Everything we needed

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was an easy walk to the beach. Bryan was so responsive and made the check in and out process easy and was always there to answer any questions. The house had everything we needed for our group of 8. Very clean. The Friday - Friday week was nice to avoid traffic. We would definitely stay again!

Amazing

Brian was so easy to work with and communication was superb. The location of the house and the cleanliness of the house was one of the best that I have stayed in. Everything you could ask for is in this rental and you don’t have to bring much. I absolutely loved my stay in Kill Devil Hills and will continue to rent this house in the near future.

Our entire experience renting this property was wonderful! The house was very clean, decorated beautifully and exactly as pictured. Just a short walk to the beach and everything you could need or want in a short drive. The owners of the property were so nice and very easy to communicate with. Highly recommended!!

Cozy beach cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. The cleanliness was by far the best I’ve seen. No weird smells. Comfy couches and beds. Owners were super helpful and easy to deal with!

My wife and I are residents (born and raised) of Chesapeake, VA who grew up vacationing in Nags Head. After many years of renting places in OBX we finally purchased a place for our family - one daughter, two sons, and one golden retriever ("Leo"). We frequent the property many times during the year with friends and extended family and are happy to offer its location to others when available.

Kill Devil Hills (KDH) is a great location in the OBX with great access to the ocean, the sound, shopping and restaurants. By staying in KDH you can avoid the traffic of traveling to the northern OBX beaches. We love the location and its proximity to the ocean (from the driveway you can see the public beach access). From the house you can bike along Memorial Blvd (between Hwy 158 - the main Hwy - and Virginia Dare Trail - the beach road) to several cool locations - Jack Brown's Beer & Burger Joint (0.6 mi), The Bonzer Shack (1.0mi), or Swells'a Brewing (1.6mi),
