Wonderful Family weekend

Our family enjoyed a wonderful Father's Day weekend at Into the Mystic. The house is located directly down the street from the Avalon Pier that hosted music every night and it is an easy walk to the beach which was great. The house was comfortable and offered a great place to end the day by enjoying the evenings together on the covered porch. We would recommend this house to anyone that is looking for a great location and easy access the the beach!

Kill Devil Hills Stay

The property was just as expected. As clean as any unit would have been that actually didn’t allow dogs like this one did. The cleanliness impressed my parents even, who are a bit picky. We love this area of the beach since it is central to everything, including what Kitty Hawk and Nags Head has to offer.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location is reason we keep comming back to this house. Rooms well furnished however new sofas were a bit uncomfortable with extended siting; we had some inclement weather that we ended up watching movies and playing board games.

Wonderful!

Wonderful large house. Plenty of space, large rooms, 3 decks and 3 bathrooms was a plus. Easy process to grab and return keys to the property manager. Seemed like we may have been the first stay of the season as though most was clean the floors were covered in dust and dirt - I had to purchase basic cleaning supplies to take care of it ourselves. But left a comment so hopefully they will take care of it for the next renter. Easy walk to the beach and pier. The pier arcade keeps the kids busy while the adults can grab a drink with a view. Large kitchen was full of supplies you may need to feed the family. Or quick walk to Awful Arthurs for dinner out. Would definitely rent again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First time in OBX, we chose this house for its proximity to the beach and overall value. We traveled all over the island from Corolla to Haterras.We are so glad we ended up in Kill Devil Hills. Everything is so close, restaurants,mini golf,ice cream shopping,grocery stores. It's a 3 min. walk to the beach. Right next to Avalon pier for easy access to restrooms, snacks, arcade games. Awful Arthur's Oyster bar is right on the corner. VERY popular place in KDH. The house was clean, comfortable with a view of the ocean from the upper decks. I think it was the nicest one on the street. I ould definitely stay here again. GREAT VACATION.

Room for the whole family

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Knights Getaway was a the perfect place for our family vacation. We had 7 adults, 1 infant and our dog. First time we have been under one roof for a long time. The bed space was great. There was 2 1/2 baths with a bathroom on each level. The decks provided extra space with great views. My 3 month old granddaughter loved being held on the porch swing. The beach is a 3-4 minute walk, which made it convenient to go backs and forth to the beach as needed. Outdoor shower even had hot water and made getting rid of the sand easy. Place was clean when we arrived. Carolina Shores was great to deal with and was very responsive when the upstairs zone of the A/C wasn’t working correctly and a technician arrived within 90 minutes. Turns out the thermostats connect to the units via wifi and the wifi glitched. Speaking of wifi, overall it worked great. 2 of us had to work partial days and my daughter worked full-time. The only issues were with our large party we were always washing silverware-ex. only 7 forks, and the living room furniture wasn’t real comfortable, truly minor issues. That being said, the kitchen is well stocked otherwise- lots of plates, cups, mugs, pots and pans. I recommend staying here.

Nice house

The house is nice and big. FYI the house is dog friendly and within walking distance to the beach, but the beach isn't dog friendly. We rented this property because we wanted to be a few steps from the beach and bring our dog, instead, we had to drive to Kitty Hawk beach every day. Also, this property is not contactless check-in and check-out, you have to actually go to the Carolina Shores office to pick up and drop off keys. You are better off just renting it straight from them because VRBO will charge you $263 just for using their app, ridiculous.

Knights Getaway and a great Escape

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For a house with a required walk to the beach, and no pool, this house checked all the rest of the boxes. I would caution anyone with small children, that even though the house is listed as 4 bedrooms, the 4th is on the ground floor, and posed a problem for our reservation, as all kids were under the age of 7, and with 2 twin beds in that room, it made it tough on the parents - but besides that, the house was great. The decks with views led to morning coffee outside daily, and the porch swing was great. We were a little surprised by both the ring doorbell and the ring camera / light on the deck - as we felt like we were being watched... :) but, it didn't stop us from having a great trip with great friends.

Nice Beach House, Dog Friendly

It was nicely decorated and had plenty of room to spread out. The dogs really liked it too. I was disappointed that we were told the house wasn’t ready when it was, especially after a long drive.

Great location! Plenty of room for all that stayed. Kitchen was great for fixing food for all to enjoy either in the house or on the front deck.... Enjoyed short walk to the beach for long walks, even collecting sea shells.
