Great quiet villa. Within short driving distance to restaurants and markets. The pool area is beautiful. Doris was a great host and very personable. I defnitely recommend staying here.

Winter getaway at Moorea

Lagoon Dream at Papetoai was nice enough for the family. Bathroom could be improved, e.g. better toilet seat. Otherwise everything else is expected.

Excellent location

This stay was an excellent location. It had a pool across the street that was very nice. There were kayaks which we used a couple times to go out and see sharks and stingrays! It was very active o in front of the pool. The house is right near a very good restaurant. Baking was great too

Our stay was great. The host is very accomodating, and allowed us an early check in, and was helpful in our check out, which was very early in the morning. Great communication, great location, and the property is exactly as advertised. We ould recommend this stay for our friends!

Pros: A good value for a spacious bungalow with two air-conditioned bedrooms, a useful kitchen and access to a swimming pool with a nice ocean view. Close to some popular locations on Moorea, including Snack Mahana. Cons: This place was more run-down and "vintage" feeling than we gathered from the listing. The bedrooms felt fresh and newly outfitted, but everything else from kitchen appliances to pool loungers was very old and not always clean. Numerous dishes in the cupboard were dirty (lipstick marks on glasses, etc), pool loungers were funky and I sat in a broken one that collapsed under me unexpectedly. The bathroom and kitchen felt a bit grimy, I'm sorry to say.

Great place - Well connected host

Our stay at Lagoon Dream was great. Jing, our host, is really connected in the area and was able to arrange anything we needed. She had great suggestions. The property is not a luxury house but it had everything we needed. Having a washer was a plus. It was clean, the WiFi was good, the location is good. The access to the kayaks and the pool across the street was a bonus.

Beautiful Moorea

We had a great stay. Wish we had more time. The pool location on the lagoon was perfect. Tight quarters with little room for a suitcase but has a closet. There was a dedicated place to park the rental car. House has AC and lots of fans.

Good place to stay on Moorea

Very clean and decently stocked. We never cooked anything but seemed like supplies were available. Right across the street from probably the best lunch places closed Sun|Mon open 11-3. Directly on a busy street but that is all you are going to get if you want a place on the water. Directly across the street is the pool which is clean and refreshing. Kayaks available but with low tide, not able to get out because of shallow water and potential damage to the reef. Ac is available is bedrooms but we just used the ceiling fan. One weird thing is that you have to sign a paper saying you won’t use too much electricity. Although you don’t know what too much is….. we were just mindful and had no issues. Highly recommend Coco Beach which has a dock not too far. Best experience of the day. Go early and enjoy the day there. Reservations are required. Final tip in general, take toilet paper with you. My wife found that not many places had it available in their public restrooms…….

Lovely

I very much enjoyed my stay at Lagoon Dream. It was comfortable and convenient (great, not super commercial area, easy drive to many things). The pool area was great for down time and sunsets. Doris was a delight upon check in/out. Jing was super helpful, set up multiple excursions for me and has great recommendations if you ask. I would definitely stay here again if I ever have the blessing to visit Moorea again.

Spacious and clean bungalow across the street from a pretty pool and lagoon where you can watch the sunset or kayak. Walking distance to craft market, Coco Beach shuttle boat and Tiki Ma’a and directly across from Snack Mahana. We also walked to Tiahura village and Tipaniers beach which are about 2-3 km away. Jing is a super friendly and helpful host who assisted with taxi bookings and restaurant reservations.

Jing is an amazing host! She arranged our moped rental for us with pickup and delivery, transportation from the ferry and also to the airport. There was water and some food for us upon arrival. The pool area is amazing. Kayaks were awesome to use as we pleased. Sharks and rays.swim past the pool area frequently. Groceries, restaurants and public beach close by. 10 out 10 would stay again!

Beautiful garden complex

We were greeted with a beautiful plate of fruit /welcome drink. It is a beautiful grounds and pool area. A great impression of French Polynesia. Top notch all the way we would love to visit again. The best place we stayed the whole month we were visiting. We were invited to join Jing and her friends for a beautiful Polynesian get together by the pool. We were treated like family. Thank you Jing and Jules for the excellent treatment. We will always remember you and smile.

Lagoon Dream is a Dream!

The host was wonderful: answered promptly, set up taxis and tickets. Watched rays, sharks and fish from the pool area. Access to SUP and kayaks. Pool was refreshing after swimming in the ocean. Location is great can walk to restaurants and stores. Had a wonderful stay. Definitely want to come back and highly recommend. Beyond our expectations.

We had a WONDERFUL stay! Jing and her staff are thoughtful and very helpful without being intrusive. The place is clean and well situated. While the road is close, it is not at all noisy or very busy. The pool is perfect! We saw rays coming by in the afternoon, there are enough kayaks for everybody and they are easy to get to. You have the keys, you take them whenever you feel like going on a trip. We also loved being able to cook for ourselves and shop for fruit by the road. If your plan is to avoid the big luxurious hotels, do not hesitate for one second.

Lagoon Dream- nicely accommodated beach house. Bed was comfy and bedroom had air conditioning. Dreamy infinity pool(across the street) overlooking the lagoon with kayaks. We watched several rays and small sharks from the pool area. The Snack Mahana is adjacent to the property and is a MUST. We also enjoyed the Tiki Maa’a just down the street. The roasted chicken and potatoes are divine. Jing was helpful and her staff was super. The location is best with a car. We wanted to do some diving and were able to get pick ups from the shops. Great spot if you want to do whale watching tours.

Lagoon dream

The property was great. The pool overlooking the lagoon was perfect. We watched sharks and stingrays while at the pool and took kayaks/paddle boards out. Snack Mahana was directly across the street and very convenient. The house was nice and the air conditioners worked well, and the internet was fast. The only things we could have used were more supplies (toilet paper, trash bags) but Jung was onsite and happy to help with things we needed.
