Just completed 5 days at Villa Ta’ura and the rental was everything advertised and more. Spectacular views, clean and efficient apartment. Well kept grounds with personalized check in/check out with great communication . All appliances and A/C working and met our needs. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Ta’ura. Perched up in the hills a bit from the road we had lovely lagoon and jungle views. No noise from the road below, it’s very quiet and peaceful here.The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast and more of you wish. Small issue with an appliance was resolved quickly. The location is perfect for most activities and only a few minutes away from the Coco Beach pickup. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful views everywhere you look, has everything you need, and plenty of space for a family of 4. We had a slight hiccup with check-in but the property manager Jenny quickly resolved it. Would definitely stay here in the future.

We had a wonderful stay. The views are spectacular, the home is beautiful and comfortable, and the kitchen is extremely well-provisioned. So many thoughtful touches throughout. Our host was incredibly helpful at check-in and responsive and flexible when we needed anything. Highly recommend.

This property was truly amazing. We had an amazing time with amazing views close to shops stores for groceries and right next to a great restaurant. We would definitely stay there again. It was so very clean. The property manager was on top of things and always provided what we asked her for There is no other place to stay on Maria except for this one. I highly recommend it. Great place

We really liked staying here. Great view, great location. Place was clean and the host was very accommodating and had an easy check in and check out process.One small thing is that the hot tub is not actually heated, which is a bit weird. However, we spent so much time at the beach that it didn’t change much.

Hello Andy, Thank you for your review. I am glad you enjoyed the house and the island. As for the tub, I specify in the instructions and suggestions I email to guests before their arrival, that it is not heated except by the sun during the day. None of the tubs in any of the houses in the residence are heated. I have discussed the issue with the homeowners association, but to heat them all would be an expense that some owners are not willing to pay. I am looking into the possibility of individual solar heating for my house. I appreciate your bringing my attention to it. Eleonora

Fantastic stay

Really enjoyed our time at this beautiful property, super clean, very quiet, very nice view. Owner and their local caretaker have been super responsive and really helpful throughout. Close to all the great beaches and activities like snorkeling with the whales.

We were so impressed with this villa. The location is fantastic, the property itself is beautiful, and the view is absolutely stunning, exactly what you hope for when coming to Moorea.Although we unfortunately could not stay due to my wife’s allergies, both the host and the property manager went above and beyond to be accommodating, kind, and understanding of our situation. Wonderful stay

Very nice place in a beautiful setting with nice views of the ocean and lagoon. Convenient location to get to several MiniMarkets for groceries, as well as the best beaches and activities we did. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable. The deck was wonderful for morning coffees and dining. Would definitely rent again when we come back to Moorea.

The villa is situated in a perfect location close to many attractions, beaches and restaurants. It had everything we needed and was thoroughly peaceful. The only negative was that because it is in a more tropically dense area it was prone to more insects (particularly because it was open to the outdoors). We had quite a few flying cockroaches despite not leaving any food out. Other than that, it was a great stay.

I am a world traveler, originally from Italy. I like to spend time in beautiful places and share them with like minded people. I have a home in Mill Valley California which is also on VRBO #360560, and a home in Rome, Italy. This little gem in Moorea, a half hour ferry ride from the main island of Tahiti, is my special little retreat in the sun, to get away from the cold of winter.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Moorea is one of the more beautiful places I have seen in my travels. The people are laid back and nice, the climate is mild and the ocean is clean. There are few tourists, so it is still very 'real', without being third world because it is French. The restaurants serve great food, and the healthcare is good in case I need it. There are many outdoor activities available, like hiking, biking, surfing, snorkeling and scuba diving, as well as my favorite, Tahitian dancing. The house is within a gated residential area, so it is totally private and safe for a single woman like me. The neighbors are mostly couples and families. The caretaker and his wife are helpful if I need anything and there is a fitness facility which I like to use when it rains. A small shopping center is 5 minutes away and there are a number of good restaurants in the area.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The reason I chose this property over others is the security of the gated residence, the site, which is very beautiful and although not directly on the beach, the beach is just down the hill. The hill itself offers great hiking right of out my front door. The villas, designed by a well known French architect, are very tasteful, beautifully landscaped, and have all the modern amenities. My villa has only one neighbor, and is very quiet and private.
