Enjoy your own private slice of Savannah’s National Historic Landmark District in this immaculately restored 1854 home nestled on the quiet Pulaski Square. Enjoy all the excitement downtown Savannah has to offer within walking distance of the tranquil, light-drenched retreat offered by this rare corner-lot home adorned with full-height windows and awash in natural light.

Upon entering Bell Carriage on Pulaski Square, you'll find a lovingly restored interior that blends historic charm with modern luxury appointments. The space features an inviting living room, where there is a lovely kitchen island with seating for two and a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops.

Right up the staircase you'll find a large bedroom, that is fitted with a plush king bed, custom built-in shelves, and a spacious closet for all of your belongings. Adjacent to the bedroom, you'll find a full-size bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Start your day of exploration at Savannah Coffee Roasters just across the square, with a morning cup of coffee. You’ll be a short walk from the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, Forsyth Park, and so many other well known monuments in Savannah.

Anniversary Trip

Perfect, beautiful location. Walkable everywhere. Description was inaccurate, selected this property because it claimed to have a king size bed, a must for us and it is not a king size bed but a queen size. Please correct your description. All and all it was a very nice trip. Savannah is a beautiful city to enjoy.

There are 2 full bathrooms and a large bedroom with a king sized bed. The courtyard is beautiful. We could even smell the blooming jasmine that grows on the gate. We enjoyed our morning coffee while listening to the soothing sounds of the small fountain in the courtyard. The location is in a quiet area of downtown but still close enough to walk to all the busy tourist spots.

Parking is metered and on the street but there was no problem using the parking app or finding a space. Parking is free after 5 and on Sat. And Sun. The apt. Was very clean and tastefully decorated with two bathrooms. One has a tub for the long soak needed after walking and walking! Had a problem with internet and smart tv but Lucky sent someone who went above and beyond to solve our problem. Kitchen was equipped well- only lacking a pitcher for sweet tea. Great courtyard. The steps to second floor are a bit steep and a guard rail after the curve might help especially for older guests but overall a great stay!

Reviewer Comments: We have absolutely no complaints about the accommodations--the carriage house is decorated eclectically and the furniture is very comfortable, especially the king bed! The location was great--we were able to walk to nearly all of the places we wanted to visit. We had good meals at The Crystal Beer Parlor, The Public Kitchen, and Savannah Smokehouse. Loved Savannah Coffee Roasters, too. Paula Deen's restaurant was just okay. Our only frustrations centered around the WiFi in Bell Carriage--it is unbelievably weak. The Smart TV isn't much of an amenity when you can't connect to it! The only station you can watch on it is the CBS station out of Charleston. Upgrading the WiFi should definitely be considered by the owner! We had several days of rainy weather and it would have been nice to be able to download our apps, or even to connect to the apps that were already there, in the evening when we were winding down or stuck inside. There was also a regional Xfinity outage during our stay, which compounded the internet problems. Another guest had commented on the dehumidifier--it is now located in the living area and must be emptied daily. I suppose that might be a fact of life for those who live in the humid south.

Wet Clothes Put a Damper on Things

Loved the unit and its location. Found the 4:00am hour-long argument (by owners? other guests? renters?) in the courtyard to be a bit tedious, but amusing to see the left-behind cigarettes, bottles and cups, and flip-flops scattered about the courtyard for the remainder of our stay. Also disappointing was the load of dirty towels in the washer. (Not just wet from spin-dry. These were dirty.) Then, when we moved our wet laundry from the washer to the dryer, found the dryer not to work. Since this was on our last night there, no solution to be had before checkout and the flight home with a load of wet laundry. Nice. Upon contacting "Lucky Savannah", was promised a call back by a manager. Still waiting. But we loved the unit and it's location.

Reviewer Comments: Bell Carriage is a very nice, conveniently located property. We were able to walk to dinner every night and always found parking right in-front of our address. However it reeks of mold and the TV pulls in only Two channels. It’s also very hard to connect to Netflicks. Worst of all you need to empty a heavy bucket of water, daily, from the large dehumidifier located in the middle of the kitchen
