14x24, plus loft area if needed. Just off of OK Hwy 59, and less than 2 miles to Heavener.
Heavener's restaurants include two Mexican, Sonic, Subway, Simple Simon's Pizza, historic
Southern Belle restaurant, and a Maamaw B's Kitchen that serves breakfast.
Please, no smoking or pets inside. We have an outside place for pets, where they can be safely confined overnight. There are a few farm animals on our main property. We enjoy the walking and solitude here. Thank you for considering us! Any questions, owners are next door.

My husband and I enjoyed our two-day stay at the adorable Little House in the Pine Woods. Nice quiet location, with a comfy bed. We appreciated the farm-fresh eggs for breakfast. We would definetly book this location again when we are in the area.

I enjoyed the environment. It was safe and quiet. The property was also in great condition. There were places to eat in the nearby town, as well as a couple of grocery stores to choose from, and a dollar store. Even though these places were available, the actual location of the cabin still gave a feeling of being out in the country.

Cute tiny house. Kitchen very well equipped. Eggs were fantastic. We didn't get to meet the owners or explore the property while we were there but hopefully if we stay again we can. Great communication and check in.

Cute little cottage, nestled in the pine woods. Had farm fresh eggs in the fridge upon arrival for the next mornings breakfast. Cute little goat nearby that my wife decided to rename "Elmer" he really was adorable. Not to be concerned, never heard him, he was just cute. Reason for the trip was to see some family. Was really a great experience.

Nice little cottage

Cute little cabin in the pines

My family and I stopped here for a night Heavner on our way to Arkansas. This was the perfect, cozy spot to stay the night in. The Heavner Runestone park was the perfect hike for our family. We would love to stay here again in the future!

Peaceful Getaway

The property is lovely, wooded, and quiet. We felt it was the perfect spot to stay to see the Runestone Park and Talimena State Park. David was a wonderful host. If we are ever back in the area, we would be happy to stay again.

Im Still There!

For me this was heaven on earth. The peace, the view, trains, cows bellowing, roosters crowing, watching three baby goats take steps in their first days, along with enjoying lovely hosts David and Clara. If one notes there is no stove, there is an electric 2-burner hot plate and an electric fry pan. When eggs are available you won't find better (nor the local Braum milk). Sunrise on the porch with coffee or tea and all the morning sounds of the earth waking is just the best. Thank you David and Clara for making this available.

What a wonderful stay we had! Room for our dog to run around, and explore, and to meet new friends. They have a small farm so it was fun to see the animals. The outside lighting was wonderful, and it was so peacful, and quiet. The neighborhood was really nice we took our dog for a walk for about an hour, and never encountered a vehicle. Plus farm fresh eggs in the fridge! Truly hope we will be back for another stay.

Home Away from Home

This is a jewel of a tiny home in a peaceful, beautiful location!! We've thoroughly enjoyed staying here on two separate trips & we plan to return again sometime!! Thank you to the Yoders for the lovely accomodations & a restful, refreshing experience.

Exactly what you would need for a stay close to the Ouachita mountains. Clean, private, and easily accessible. Just a short drive from accessing trailheads in the mountains.

Quiet & Peaceful

Mr. Yoder and his wife were excellence hosts. We rented the cottage while we prepared our property in Heavener. Our stay was a nice getaway to relax after working long days on the build. We were welcomed with cookies when we arrived and even received delicious homemade cinnamon roles for Christmas. We would definitely stay again!

Short after holiday getaway

My husband and I wanted to get away from everything for a little bit and wanted to stay in a cabin. Our hosts thought of everything. We had everything from dishes and cleaning supplies to warm blankets and food in the fridge. The size is perfect for a couple or a small family. We enjoyed the sitting area on the porch while my husband grilled some steaks with the grill and charcoal our hosts provided. If we find ourselves in the area, we will definitely stay again.
