Forest Beach Townhome - Pet Friendly - 1 Block from the Beach

Hilton Head Cabana 34 is a charming townhouse located in South Forest Beach one block from the ocean. This property is wonderfully furnished and offers an open floor plan with a well equipped kitchen. The first floor consists of the kitchen (with laundry facilities), living room, dining room, a powder room along with an outside patio complete with a gas grill. The second floor contains both the master bedroom (king bed) plus the guest bedroom (one queen and one twin) as well as a full bathroom just off the hallway in between the two bedrooms. The swimming pool and kiddie pool are located just steps from the patio in the extremely spacious courtyard. Pool is open March - October This unit is conveniently located within a 5 minute walk to the beach, a 10 minute walk to Coligny Plaza and also 10 minutes from the new Low Country Celebration Park. Please be aware that No Pets are permitted on the back patio or in the Courtyard at Hilton Head Cabanas. Also, the rental is limited to 1 pet (35 pounds or less) per occupancy.

The townhouse is a little run down but overall it was clean. When we got there we notified the property manager that the toilet was a little loose and a couple of minor things. We were in a very quiet part of town (we did go during off season.)The house was very well stocked kitchen wise and we had no problems making breakfast/lunch. Highly recommend bringing a sleep mask if you sleep with black out curtains. The blinds do not keep out light well. Things I was less than thrilled about were the level of communication with the property manager. They were not very responsive and VERY robotic with responses. One of the reasons we rented the place was because we brought our corgi and it was dog friendly. I was not happy to find out that while the townhouse is dog friendly the courtyard area is not dog friendly which was a little disappointing but fine since we went to the beach with our dog. However, I was very upset when we came home in the middle of the day to find a plumber fixing the toilet but NO ONE had notified us of this. They had come earlier in the week to fix the toilet but stated they would come after we left to actually fix it. Thankfully we crate our dog but what if he had been out?! I asked the property manager about this and I never heard a response. If you're looking somewhere cheap and clean then it has what you need but due to the non response from the property robot manager I wouldn't rebook this place.

Clean, quite and close to the beach. Pet friendly (not in courtyard). The pool was nice too. It was very easy to check in. Kitchen was well equipped. Had everything I needed to cook meals. Will definitely check to see if available when we go back.

Condo was great, Well stocked, clean, quiet and nicely remodeled. Only recommendation would be some blackout curtains in the bedrooms as the court yard lights and front street lights shine in the bedroom windows all night. Also a few spare blankets in the bedroom closets would have been nice, but not a deal breaker. Thanks for allowing us to stay!

Great location and comfortable place

We had a great stay at 34 cabanas. It is conveniently located across from the beach. The condo was clean, tidy and well kept. Thank you One thing to keep in mind (although out of the owners' control): very poor cell signal inside the townhome - had to come outside for a phone call or to check text messages. Could depend on the carrier, though.

Unit was more space than we needed for just the two of us but we were glad to have a place allowing our dog to be with us. Would be good for a young family, courtyard pool was very convenient, beach fairly close as well as Coligny Plaza.

Walking or biking distance to Coligny for restaurants and shopping. The rentals up to $250 were very useful. We got three beach and two bikes with a basket using our credit. The TV's were a little challenging to figure out (perhaps leave instructions). Other than that, the place had everything we needed! Thank you!

Perfect

The cabana is one of the cleanest vacation places I have stayed. It is beautifully decorated, and it was perfect for our family of four. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The pool was right outside the patio and walk to beach took us about 5 minutes. If you bring a pet, they are not to be on the patio or common grounds, but there were plenty of spaces to walk them. Management kept us informed every step of the way with helpful texts. Thanks for a great experience!

We had the air conditioner break Sunday night but they sent someone out to fix it very promptly. One of our vehicles was broken into and my husbands gun was stolen , apparently this is a problem the island is dealing with this summer . Overall we had a good vacation and definitely would stay here again . The Seashore vacation staff was very kind and helpful.
