Beautiful Stay on Superior

Truly loved this property; inviting, spacious, well-managed and gorgeous views that can’t be beat. We enjoyed jumping into Lake Superior and making use of the paddle boards the property provided. This was a great home stay for exploring the Apostle Islands and provided us with comfort and luxury during our trip.

Had a great time. Location of this home is ideal. Short distance to stores and waterfront.

This home had everything we needed and more. We had a great time in Ashland despite the cold. Would probably rent this place again when we are up north the next time Thanks for everything.

Great location and all the amenities!

The location of this property was great! Easy to get around to different portions of the Chequamegon Bay. The morning and evening views of the bay were stunning. The unit was well stocked with kitchen amenities to make it feel like home. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

4 best friends from college, all on Medicare, thoroughly enjoyed Ashland. Golf, fishing, and relaxing in a beautiful home on the lake.

Perfect location and all the comforts of home

The location of this property is amazing, with Lake Superior sunsets from the back balcony! We fell asleep to the sound of the waves. The house is also immaculately clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Highly recommend for a great stay in Ashland!

Felt Like Home

Amazing views, very comfortable beds and sectional full stocked kitchen, loved watching the sunset over the lake with fire pit on the deck, large assortment of games and toys. Well decorated. Everything we were looking for.

Amazing getaway

Wonderful home and location! We visited for a long weekend to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Pictures don’t do the space justice! We had more than enough room for our three kids (5, 3, and 1) and my mother in law to enjoy our stay. Plenty of toys for young families — we even got out for some paddle boarding! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a northern getaway.

Beautiful condo

There were six of us staying at the condo for a week. There was plenty of room for all of us and it was well stocked with everything that we would need. It was right by a Walmart so we were able to get some food there and any supplies. The unit was updated nicely and was very beautiful. It was right on the lake and we enjoyed the view and our little shared beach.

Beautiful Chequamegon Bay

The condo is beautiful-spacious and inviting. The sunsets from the porch are wonderful. My husband grew up in the area so we spent a lot of time fishing on the lake My adult grandsons were very happy with their catches. We had to have dinner at the Pizza Pub as we have been going there for 40 years???

Beautiful Property

Spacious property that had everything we needed. Everything was clean and neat. Perfect location- we were able to quickly go to all the places we planned. Very convenient that we were close to Walmart, food and gas. The view was amazing! Would have given 5 stars but the washing was broken. The owner let us know before we arrived but we packed light as we planned to do laundry. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

Northland Graduation Stay

Perfect house for our family! We drove 16 hours from PA for our daughter’s graduation. Bryan and Kristen’s home had everything we needed! For the first time in 4 years of going to Ashland, the weather was gorgeous and we enjoyed the porch, the lake, the paddle boards, the yard, the beach, etc… Perfect location since we had a lot of activities and events to attend in town. My only complaint… that we didn’t discover this house 4 years ago so we could have stayed here on every visit!

Perfect Home Base for Exploring Lake Superior

Our family had a great time at this property. The view of Cequamegon Bay was even more amazing than I expected. Walking in the front door and seeing a panoramic view of the lake through the living room windows takes your breath away. In fact, I think it would be hard to find a property with a view this nice anywhere else in the area. The condo is very conveniently located on the east side of Ashland, close to amenities and shopping but still quiet and relaxing. When we booked, I was a little nervous we would be too far from Bayfield and the Apostle Islands lake shore but it was not bad at all. We drove up that way almost everyday and explored something new each time in the surrounding communities. The condo had everything we needed for the five of us and the kids had plenty of space to play both inside and outside on the small private beach. We would definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area.

Amazing Property and Hosts!!!

Where do i start? Check in was a breeze. We walked in and our jaws dropped. This place is gorgeous! Beautiful, high end finishes. The hosts have thought of everything. Good quality cookware, plenty of dishes, utensils, various supplies, etc. The view was incredible. We enjoyed our coffee on the deck each morning, listening to the loons. The furniture was comfy and there was plenty of room for all 3 of us to stretch out and watch TV. The chair in the corner was my little reading nook and i took up residence there immediately. It even had a perfect book pillow (readers know what i mean)! The beds were so comfortable. The bathtub in the master... didn't even know it was going to be there so that was a nice surprise! Communicating with the hosts was great when i had a few questions. Meticulously clean, great location just down from Walmart. The KwikTrip has everything you need. And not at gas station prices. We would love to stay here again!

Wonderful home and sandy beach!

We loved this property. It was unusually well stocked in general (kids life jackets, toys, stand up paddle board, s’mores roasting sticks, etc), and especially well stocked in the kitchen. Very nice pans, knives, etc. The sandy beach had lovely clear water and was warm enough for swimming, and calm enough to paddle board and kayak. The deck hosted beautiful sunsets each night, with an easy to light fireplace for s’mores (which were also provided!) The home was clean, spacious and beautiful. We were so happy to find a great place to stay near Bayfield that was so spacious, reasonable and even had a beach. Don’t miss the Black Cat Coffee Shop in Ashland if you decide to visit.

Great Getaway

Nice little beach for the condos to use, and sunsets are amazing off the back deck! Hosts were very nice and helpful. Neighbors were very friendly and pointed us in the direction of good restaurants. Visited during the warm middle of August but the AC wall unit on the main floor worked well if you slept with the master bedroom door open (unit is in main living area). Two window AC units worked great for the kids upstairs. Would definitely visit again.

Million Dollar View

The pictures for this condo really don’t do it justice. The views are outstanding from inside the unit and the deck. There’s even a working light house maybe a few hundred yards from shore. It’s much more spacious than the pics suggested, and there were also a number of games, puzzles and toys my 5 year old enjoyed playing with. The unit itself is 5/5. I gave 4 stars due to a few issues we had. The first was spotty internet service, which also impacted the smart tv. This drove my son crazy, since he didn’t appreciate just sitting outside looking at the lake like I did. The second was the large hill to the beach and the beach itself. I am very glad I brought a wagon to haul things down to the beach because it is a workout for out of shape folks like myself to get back up the hill. The beach was neither the best nor worst I’ve ever been to. Water was on the chilly side, a bit rocky and water clarity not great, but we had fun wading in. Certainly nothing that is within the owners control, but be sure to bring water shoes. What my son enjoyed most was looking for sea glass on the beach, of which he found quite a bit. The third issue we had was that I managed to lock us out of the unit the first evening. There is a smart lock to get into the unit and then a manual lock on the inside door that you aren’t supposed to touch once inside because if you leave the unit the door will remain locked. It says this in the instruction booklet inside, but making it idiot proof, like putting a piece of tape over the lock or sign next to the door, would be beneficial. The owners hired a locksmith to come let us in. The neighbor in the downstairs unit was extremely nice and brought us a chair and water and coloring book for while we waited. On the whole though I’d definitely stay again. It’s a good location for day trips to Bayfield and the UP, and the view can’t be beat.
