There was no lake view and I was shocked to know I was renting a room attached to host house. But Nice room and bathroom host was pleasant to work with.

Exactly what we needed

We love the area this VRBO is in: convenient to Hayden Lake, bike trails, and Coeur d'Alene. John is a great host and was very accommodating. Please stay here!

Very Quiet, I came and left as I pleased. I never saw the property manager. They left me alone, and I left them alone. It was one street away from my parents. I liked that drive. A nice, clean place, off-street parking, quiet neighborhood, I would stay here again.

I have to say that this place was pretty perfect! Close to everything, quiet, quaint, and felt safe. From the door locks to the muffins left by the host ,I have little complaints. Quick to food (Bella’s Brunch is yum yum) to a few miles to Silverwood, you’re right in the thick of it. My only minor complaint is that the pillows need to be changed. I’d still stay here despite that, as its location, location, location! Thank you so much for letting us stay at your cute abode! Much love and appreciation!

Very clean and neat. A convenient location. A nice sized, and very good bathroom. A great place to sleep with a queen bed. There is a quite small microwave and refrigerator. No other cooking facilities. The Keurig coffeemaker was appreciated. The only places to sit are one chair and a seat in a bay window, on opposite sides of the bed. All in all, it met our needs perfectly !The host was cordial with email contacts to assure we were happy campers and to offer assistance if needed !

Tucked away and cozy!

We used this location as a nice spot for our home base for s couple nights while visiting the area as we spent the day at Silverwood. Cozy. Super clean. Private and a really nice neighbrhood. I had a flatbed trailer with me and the host allowed me to use his RV parking. Would use again!

John was a very nice guy, and the place was very clean but there are some important issues people need to know that are not advertised or left vague on purpose. First, John the owner lives in the house, and this is just a room for rent, and he is just behind a locked door and can hear you and you can hear him. In the ad it looks like it's just a small house for rent but it's actually just a room. The kitchenette advertised is a microwave and mini fridge (ice maker is just a small try of ice in the freezer of the mini fridge) in a built-in bookcase, a small end table in the hall between the room and bathroom and the coffee maker and mugs on the bathroom counter right next to the toilet, YUCK!!! The bed that supposedly sleeps 2 is just a full-size bed that barely fits 2 people, and it sags in the middle so you're both on top of each other all night. When he decided to turn the room into a rental, he did not upgrade the electrical so when his fireplace heater or microwave are running the lights flicker and the fireplaces shows an error code after a short time. The TV is hung on a side wall from the bed making watching TV very awkward but it's a good tv and the Wi-Fi works great. The walking trails advertised have to be driven to 2 miles away and his place is not within walking distance to the lake. His house is close to town and is convenient to get to and is a good value, but John needs to let his potential guest know exactly what they are getting.

The room was very well-equipped and comfy. However, it was quite small (good for 1 or 2 max), and we are used to a much firmer mattress. Access was easy, and we had no need to communicate with the host. We appreciated the welcome muffins and info package. John has a lovely backyard area that can be used. We enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed our stay very much. John was so accommodating and helpful. It was located close to a Lot of places. It was slightly smaller than we expected but had everything we needed and was very clean. The bed was very soft and could be firmer. John was a great host.

Beautiful area and house close to Hayden Lake. The property is exceptionally clean but is quite small in size. Only 2 people maximum would be able to stay in this room.

We booked 3 nights but left after1 & regret we even checked in. This listing is extremely misleading. After reviewing the listing we were expecting an entire house to ourselves with fully equipped kitchen, patio, backyard etc. What was actually provided: a small bedroom/bathroom with hotel size microwave & refrigerator, separated from the OWNER OCCUPIED home by a locked door. We were also provided a small wooden table & 2 chairs by the front entry of the home. This was TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE and listing must be changed to ACCURATELY describe what you are renting (and renamed Hayden Bedroom). We kindly request and expect a refund. Edward T.

Very clean, private, and comfortable

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at John's beautiful home. Was greeted when we arrived. Wished my boyfriend Happy Birthday. The residence looks exactly like the pictures. Everything was very clean, and necessitates were provided. Even received complimentary muffins, and water! Also most comfortable bed I‘ve ever slept on. Neighborhood was also vert cute, and quiet. I 100% recommend everyone to stay here. Thank you John!

Quiet neighborhood

Great place for one person or a couple. Everything you need for a short stay. Close to Hayden Lake, a few golf courses and a good variety of restaurants. Check in was souer easy. Much better than the local hotels. Will stay again.

Location, location, location. The home is located in a beautiful part of Hayden Lake community. Just 1.4 miles from English Point hiking trails which runs alongside Hayden Lake. The hiking is open to foot, horse and mountain biking trails. 1.9 mile drive from Hayden Lake, Honeysuckle Beach and 2 golf course resorts. Private keyless entry, complimentary coffee and off street parking.

The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Lots of natural country landscape surrounded by tall well established evergreen trees, plenty of deer and wildlife, more of a country rural setting rather than a traditionally residential setting.
