An abundance of windows flood the home with natural light giving it a very uplifting feel. The home is the only one on the block allowing ample parking and a sense of privacy. Quaint brick courtyard privacy fenced in the rear yard. Just a short walk to Quincy University and Quincy's iconic local pubs and eateries. Close to Blessing Hospital.

A charming nicely renovated and decorated old home. Nice location right in town. Well equipped with all necessary supplies. Only caution is a steep staircase to bedrooms on second floor that may pose problem for young children or adults with disability.

Lovely cottage with fabulous natural lighting well furnished, comfortable beds etc. Quiet neighborhood. Great common areaMaintenance required- loose staircase railings (front and back), and the one full bath has no “grab bars” in the soaker tub. Quite difficult3.5 bedrooms are upstairs. Nice bedding. Good AC and heatVery old windows- should be replaced or at least clean the sillsThe issue- stairs are not per code. Tiny and steep. Would not be permitted where we live. I’m a landlord, so I know code Dangerous and narrow with no railingsNote to owner:Change the bathtubAlter the stairs. There is room. The house is very cute and extremely clean and decorated very tastefully. The host left a package of danishes from the local bakery, which was a nice touch. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was so cozy. This however is not a home for someone who has mobility issues. The issues we had were as follows1) bathtub - HIGH step in to the pedestal tub could be a challenge for some - our friend literally fell out of the tub. Luckily she had piled all of her personal items on the toliet so she had a soft landing. Also fighting with the shower curtain made me dread taking a shower. We finally got some clothes pens so that we could keep the curtain closed.2) ice on front steps upon arrival3) key entry pad was a little flaky - luckily there was also a house key so we took in case the key entry pad would not allow us back into the house4)ice trays were not filled - only 4 cubes in the tray5)air fresheners -SO MANY - if you have allergies or issues with scents this home is not for you . We had to unplug them as it was just too much. There were at least 3 downstairs and 2 upstairs. This is by no means a large house.6) the staircase - steep and tiny stairs until you get to the first landing. 7) Kitchen was stocked OK, no coffee pot so we bought one and left it there. Also there were 3 plastic drinking glasses we tried to use - all were cracked and leaking so we went to salvation army and bought them new drinking glasses to replace the cracked ones at the property

Cozy Christmas

This was the perfect home base for us and our adult children when we were not with extended family on Christmas Eve and Christmas. The rooms are smallish but comfortable and tastefully decorated. Lauren' simple and elegant Christmas touches made us feel welcome. The kitchen had everything we needed. A note for elderly guests-- there are a few features which those with less mobility may not be able to take full advantage of. The dining room and chairs are taller than traditional height. Stairs to the bedrooms upstairs are a little narrow, and a charming old-fashioned bathtub could be harder for some to get in and out of. None of these passed any issues for us though, and we really enjoyed our time here! has everything we needed.

Great place!

The house was absolutely adorable! The only issue we found was some broken glass, plastic, and a small bone in the bottom of the dishwasher. Everything else was fantastic! We would definitely recommend and book again.

A lot of stairs

We ended up having to stay elsewhere do to the limitations of some of our party. The property was very nice, but there are a lot of stairs.

Wonderful stay in Quincy

The house appears as it is represented in the listing, and is a beautifully renovated historic home in a quiet, historic neighborhood with walking access to many things. A nice quiet patio out back and comfortable bed. Communication was great, check in was easy, and I would recommend this to anyone needing a place to stay in Quincy.

Beautiful cottage

Loved everything about the cottage. Neat, clean, beautifully decorated. The only bad thing was the staircase. I have a bad knee and it was very steep. Not for people with elderly or those who have hard time with stairs. Need a vent in upstairs bathroom our son took a hot shower and when he came out of bathroom it set fire alarm off.

Quincy Cottage

We were very pleased with this rental! It is as advertised; clean, well-appointed and in a wonderful central location. Communication with Laura was excellent; she even had fresh locally made cookies for us upon arrival! We could either park in the driveway or on the street. Neighbors were quiet and the neighborhood is well kept. The back patio is a big plus!

Adorable house

I enjoyed my stay. The house was very clean. The staircase to the bedrooms is narrow & steep but to be expected in an old house. I like how the original floors & doors were restored. If I would stay a few days again in Quincy, I would definitely stay here & recommend this cottage to others. Laura was very accommodating. I like how a keypad was used to get in the house. Very easy. Thank you, Laura for renting out your adorable house.

Great little home for a family trip

We travelled to Quincy for a family visit and this was the perfect place for our family of 4. There was more than enough room for everyone to spread out and to have their own space to retreat to at the end of the day. The location was perfect….really close to just about everything in town. And very easy to find and get to. The stairs are pretty steep, so be prepared for that. But otherwise, this is an amazing place ti stay! We will definitely be back!
