JUST IMAGINE ... making a 1 hour drive up Hwy #55, going west from the Twin Cities, and coming upon our two (2) cabins awaiting your family to enjoy a relaxing lakeside vacation. We call the cabins 'A BLAST FROM THE PAST'. They are located on the Shores of Clearwater lake with two family cabins (Main Cabin and Guest Cabin) which are rented as one unit. These fun cabins are considered ‘A BLAST FROM THE PAST’, as they are renovated cabins from the historical Beecher’s Resort in Annandale Minnesota. The original cabins have been enjoyed and taken care of by our family since the early 80’s. Our family has grown, and the cabins are ready for your family to enjoy. If you are looking for a vacation that has feeling of Up North cabin life, just one short hour from the Twin Cities, our magical lakeshore getaway is available. The cabins are surrounded by trees and green space on 135+ feet of beautiful sandy shoreline. The main Cabin has two bedrooms, an updated kitchen, a cozy relaxing area, a large dining area. and sleeps 4-6 comfortably. The smaller guest Cabin can be used as an office or special space for Grandparents, older children or drop by friends. It has one bedroom, a kitchen with sitting area and 1 bathroom. The property is a retreat for the whole family and a haven for kids with separate spaces for everyone. At 3,000+ acres, Clearwater Lake is well known for excellent fishing, quiet bays, and the space to head out on the lake for the day and never see the same area twice. Back on the shore you have one of the nicest beaches around. This one-of-a-kind rental property is a blend of the present and the past, and is ready for you, your family, and your friends to enjoy. If your family is looking for a vacation conveniently located to the Twin Cities our property might be perfect for you.

As a PREVIOUS '5 STAR' VRBO PROPERTY OWNER, our active family has decided to rent the two family cabins as one unit for other families to enjoy this summer and fall.. Our family has enjoyed summers and fall weekends on the Gold Coast of Clearwater Lake for the past 40+ years. Life at the lake is a true North-woods experience that has created lifelong bonds between the family and their friends. Four years after purchasing the family property, my parents purchased the 2 Cabins next to us. Since their passing, I now own the Cabins. It is these cabins that we are now offering for summer and lakeshore rentals. They will be available a few weeks during the summer and weekends during the fall. We are seasoned rental property owners and know how create an inviting homey atmosphere for our guests. As the property owner, I live in Annandale and am available 24 hours a day. It is now time to share our love of the lake, the sunsets, the walks in the woods, the night-time bonfires, roasting marshmallows , listening to the loons, watching the eagles, napping in the hammock, reading books and just 'kicking back' with new families and their friends.

To answer the question 'Why rent this property', I could only say that renting property close to the Twin Cities only makes sense if you have an active family.

The property will only be rented as a 'whole' to preserve the family atmosphere. Having two Cabins on the same property has proven to be convenient. The second little Cabin can be used as an office, Grandparent getaway, older children’s space or just a quick escape from the action.

The greatest benefit of renting lakeside Cabins is the family bonding that occurs naturally between children of all ages, their parents, their grandparents, their great-great grandparents, their aunts & uncles, their cousins and their friends. The lake place provides a retreat for the whole family where each person can grow and thrive. A great benefit of driving North to the lake is the family time spent in the car singing songs and discussing the previous weeks activities. The lake is where our family has lived, laughed, cried and learned away from the hectic pace of the big city. Lake memories are treasured memories.!
