Complete home very short walk to beach
This home has 2 full bathrooms and four bedrooms, three with Queen size beds and large walk in closets and ceiling fans, and the fourth a sun room bedroom with a full sized day bed and twin trundle.A pack and play baby bed. A large living area with ceiling fan, and separate dining area, a well stocked kitchen with dish washer and a baby high chair all with an open concept and a laundry area with washer and dryer. Central heat and air with wall unit also in sun room bedroom for extra cooling if needed. Board games, wii game system with games. DVD movie library. Extremely well stocked kitchen with extras like milk shake maker, Margarita maker. A covered carport, a charcoal grill, 4 beach chairs, covered front porch with ceiling fan and mood lighting. Rentals are all Saturday to Saturday during peak season.

Discount rates after peak season, and nightly rentals allowed with 3 night minimum.

Long term monthly offer an even better rate. Monthly rentals includes car pass.

Use of all Ocean Lake Free Amenities,pools, water part, etc. and use of other small fee amenities at renters expense. Expanded cable service, Wifi, Keyless entry with new pass code each renter, cleaning provided at check out. There are 5 TV's 2 of which are smart TV's. 5 DVD players. A sizable and growing collection of DVD's to enjoy on one of the dvd players. Cards and board games for all ages for added fun. Ocean Lakes is a golf cart community and you can rent them for a day or a week from them. This rental DOES NOT include use of golf cart. You will need to provide your own paper goods and linens.This is a gated community and cars require a pass to enter at the cost of $10.00 per day per car which you pay for directly to Ocean Lakes-NOT INCLUDED IN RENTAL. We enjoyed our time here. Great living room for lots of family conversations and large table for playing games. Some of the beds were mediocre and the patio cushions need to be replaced. Overall it suited our needs.

We as a family of 5 had a blast! From the house to ocean lakes in general did not disappoint! House was clean and spacious enough for all of us. Needs a few minor repairs but nothing major wrong.

"The Last Resort"

We are not complainers and completely understand that there is very limited time between check ins but for the amount paid to stay here at least the essentials like A/C, and oven should be operational, very poor pest control as well .. although communication was good about the A/C issue nothing was ever done about it ..Check in process and communication with property manager was very good but over all wouldnt recommend this place unless it was your "Last Resort"..

We had a great stay!.....

The homeowner (Lisa) was responsive, courteous and very helpful from start to finish...nothing too small. We had 6 adults and 3 children (2, 7 and 10 y/o) and had plenty of room. The property is conveniently located on a less busy street just a few blocks from the beach, as well a few blocks from the waterpark, meet 'n eat, and market...we rented a couple golf carts to more quickly and easily get to the many amenities, activities, and fun in general. The house itself had a loaded kitchen (appliances, pots/pans, dishes, cutlery....), TVs in every room, Wii game system with over a dozen games, pack-n-play, highchair (nice that we didn't have to pack those for our granddaughter), and spacious front porch to enjoy fellowship and morning coffee. Bottom line...The Last Resort is a fantastic property with a most hospitable homeowner - we would not think twice about renting here again.

The Worst!!!

Upon arrival the house was not clean; trash under the couches, bed covers not clean, black hair in the bathtub, 2 dead bugs in the bathroom off the living room. The next day was a live watering found in a coffee cup in the cupboard. A condom under the bed in the back room off the laundry room. The spectrum box in the same room did not work. The maintenance man had to replace it. The next day we closed the door to the bedroom beside the front bathroom and the door would not open(it was not locked). The maintenance man had to be called again to come and replace the whole door knob. We requested half of our money back but no response from the owner. Overall it was THE WORST from start to finish.

Awesome Beach House

Easy check in & check out process. Very clean and organized home. Everything was so accessible for our family vacation week. We will stay again! We have been coming to ocean lakes for 7 years and this house has been one of our favorites.

Vacation with my daughters families, grandkids loved it!

It was an amazing week with my grandkids, very comfortable we had plenty of room. My grandsons loved the bunkbeds, and my granddaughter had her own room. Golfcart was charged and ready to ride when we got there. Had a little grass area in front for my grandkids to play some games. Overall we all had fun and will stay there again!

A Great Week!

We were in Myrtle for my Grandsons baseball tournament. I was a little worried that this property would be too small for our 3 adults and 4 older teenagers but boy was I wrong. There was plenty of room and the updated decor and bedding was a super plus! We loved the large living area for family time and games. The kitchen was fairly small but had everything you need to feed a crowd. Short walk to beach. The owner was extremely responsive and easy to contact, the small issues we had were quickly resolved. I would return to this property with my family in the future.

Wonderful property

Owner was wonderful with response time and super friendly. House was just as it was posted online. We had so much space for everyone and the location was in the middle of it all. If you have not stayed here you must do so, don't miss out. I know my family will definitely be staying again.

Nice place in a great location

Nice property in a great location. The property owner was pleasant and easy to reach. The place was clean and in a very convenient location. I would definitely stay here again. My only complaint is that it did not come with any towels or sheets and pillow cases so we had to go out and buy them.

Okay place to stay.

The owner was pleasant to work with and allowed us to check in early. The dryer did not work and we lightly packed due to the listing that the washer and dryer was there and worked. The AC was locked on 70 and we had to ask a few times to adjust because it was extremely hot. There is a horrible smell in the laundry/kitchen area like urine. Be careful of the plastic vents in the house. The location was great and the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was nice size. If the dryer was fixed and the smell was gone we would rent that house every year when we visit.

Everything was just a described and the check in was so easy! The house was the perfect size for our family and could of accommodated more ! The property manager was perfect and quick with responding to any questions we had! I would definitely recommend this house to anyone and I will be staying again in the future!

Pleasant stay

Great little place. Fully equipped kitchen with anything you’d need to cook at home! The split bedroom set up with two on each side of the living room allowed our full group lots of space. The bathrooms are a little small but accommodating. The Wii was great! The owners were very attentive and helpful with any issue or question we had. The straight walk to the beach was great. Loved being on this side of the campground. Short walk to the other amenities as well. Be aware that the teens will be “cruising” down the street until curfew though. My little kids truly had a great time all week and the house was comfortable for us.

Family vacation

My husband and cousin stayed with our 6 kids. Very spacious well furnished home. Older but well maintained. Owner is responsive and attentive! Perfect for a larger family like ours. We loved it and will be returning!

Great House!!

We really enjoyed our stay!! The house was roomy and clean. It was well equipped with kitchen items, movies, games and a great covered porch. Great location and close to the beach!! Definitely will be staying here again!!

Nice and cozy

We had a wonderful time staying at the house. It was very nice and clean. It had lots of room for all of us. Beach is a 5 minute walk.

Amazing house for families

We had an amazing time! The split floor plan is perfect for families. 2 bedrooms on each side of the house with the bathrooms in between them. The house has everything you would ever need to cook with. Clean, and comfortable! We would stay again going back to ocean lakes.
