The Farmhouse Downtown Mystic~Walk to Seaport, Shops and Restaurants

This beautifully decorated 1876 Farmhouse includes everything you will need to enjoy a great vacation in Downtown Mystic. We are located within a 6 minute walk to Downtown Mystic and Seaport....

A wrap around, outdoor covered porch with rocking chairs and porch swing, and an enclosed porch with tables and chairs adorn both the front and side of this charming, updated 1876 Farmhouse. You’ll love the beautiful, landscaped back yard with stone walls, outdoor fireplace surrounded with Adirondack chairs, and a stone patio with propane gas grill for barbecuing with seating for Al Fresco dining!

The Farmhouse includes air conditioning, cable TV, Wi-Fi Internet. The first floor has a fully equipped kitchen which opens to dining room with large farm table and gas log fireplace, enclosed porch and Living room, flat screen TV & Bose sound system. Along with a full bath and laundry room. If comfort with all the modern conveniences and close proximity to Downtown Mystic is what you’re looking for, it's all right here and we look forward to having you stay with us! The 2nd floor consists of a master bedroom with new plush king size bed and flat screen tv. There are two additional bedrooms on this floor with new plush queen size beds and another full bath with a 2nd floor family room. The house sleeps 6. Please note that you walk through one bedroom to access the upstairs bathroom or from the back staircase.

What a spectacular place to stay for our family gathering! The home was equipped with absolutely everything you could need. Everything was well labeled and easy to find and the host ensured we had everything needed. Our 14 month old toddled around safely and all the adults were comfortable in the sizeable beds.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mystic Farmhouse! This is a beautiful home, thoughtfully decorated, and fully equipped for guests. It had everything we needed. It’s located on a quiet street a few blocks from the waterfront in Mystic making it easy to walk to restaurants, shops, etc. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we had all we needed for or vacation. She gave us great recommendations on what to see and do and made us feel very welcome. It was the perfect relaxing getaway. We hope to come back soon.

This was the most well provisioned property I have ever stayed at! Our hostess thought of everything including comfortable beds, pillows, towels along with basic toiletries. The kitchen is stocked with every pot, pan and appliance you need to cook if interested. She provided coffee and all the fixings, plus a welcome charcuterie plate and wine when we arrived. The house was beautiful!Its a short walk to downtown Mystic, and a perfect location to see so many CT sights. We loved it!

The Farmhouse was a joy. All of our communication with Michelle beforehand was easy, and she sent us excellent recommendations for our stay. She met us on arrival and literally thought of EVERYTHING! She deserves eight stars, not five!She laid out a scavenger hunt for the kids and had all the ingredients we would need for s'mores. She even made me look like super-dad by setting up the fire pit for one-match lighting! All the details of the house were thoughtful and kind and done with attention. She is the hostess with the mostess, and we can't wait to return!

The Farmhouse in Mystic is undoubtedly the best property we have ever stayed at. The house is charming, tastefully decorated, immaculately clean, and comfortable. Amazing stay at the Farmhouse!

All four of us agree that this was a five star stay in Mystic. The Farmhouse is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The location is perfect for exploring Mystic and surrounding areas. It is a short walk to downtown and anything we needed was within a 10 minute drive. Communication with our host, Michelle, was so easy and she reached out ahead of time to discuss any needs we might have and suggest so many good restaurants and local activities. We easily could have stayed and enjoyed another week.

A Home Away from Home

Our stay at this stunning vacation rental in Mystic was everything we could have hoped for. The property was impeccably clean and everything about it was 5-stars, even the linens. There is plenty of space in the house and the kitchen is fully stocked with almost any cooking appliance you would need. Neighborhood is quiet. It's obvious that the owner, Michelle, has put a lot of thought into making sure her guests feel at home and are fully equipped to enjoy their stay. The location was perfect for exploring Mystic and is well within walking distance of the downtown area, with side walks most of the way. We can't recommend this property enough and would definitely stay here again.

Mystic Farmhouse review

We were attending a family wedding in Mystic on Memorial Day weekend. We stayed at Michelle’s farmhouse for 3 nights. Everything was immaculate and comfortable - just perfect. Michelle met us at the house and showed us everything. She was so lovely and thoughtful. She had pastry from Sifts, local wine and even everything to make s’mores! Her attention to detail was incredible. Definitely going to stay again !

Absolutely winderful

My wife and I have stayed in many homes over the years and this home and host are at the top of the list. Exceptionally appointed with any appliance or amenity one could want, the home was comfortable for an entire family to enjoy not only the area but the home itself. Michelle thought of everything, from decoration and decor to making sure the home had anything one could need in a vacation home. We had a wonderful time and look forward to a return trip.

More than just a beautiful house!!!

The house was absolutely beautiful! Michelle took "super host" to a whole new level. She went over and above to make our stay a wonderful, memorable experience. From the moment we booked the house, Michelle was in contact with us. She sent suggestions for restaurants and things to do and see during our stay. When we arrived at the house, she was there to greet us with wine, local beers and pastries. The house was very well stocked with everything you could wish for or ever need during your stay. There was even stuff to make s'mores (even the sticks). She thought of everything. This is a perfect place for anytime of year. Highly recommend!!!

Awesome stay in Mystic!

This was our second stay at the Farmhouse and it was just as wonderful as our first. Michelle is the best host - thoughtful, communicative, and thinks of every detail. I love that we didn’t need to strip the beds and wash sheets on the way out, so easy! The house is absolutely beautiful and close to everything. We had a blast and hope to return!

The best Vrbo rental we have ever had!

Michelle was the most gracious host. 5 star service all around. The house was a dream. The house was prepped and stocked with everything you could ever ask for. We stayed for Easter weekend and Michelle showed up as the Easter bunny with eggs and a chocolate egg filled with pastries. We have stayed at multiple Vrbos in the past but no host has ever come close to the 5 star service and professional approach this couple takes when hosting guests.

Delightful Farmhouse

It was a perfect home with all the amenities you could possibly ask for. It was warm and cozy. The host saw to the smallest details from supplies for s’mores to everything we needed for coffee the next morning. Just superb and words cannot express how delightful the town and people are.

Family Time

We had an amazing time at the Farmhouse. It is impeccable- beautifully furnished and clean. Everything felt new and thoughtfully prepared to host guests. Michelle was incredible to work with. The location cannot be beat - close to downtown Mystic and the shops and restaurants. We can not wait to return for a third stay.

Little Piece of Heaven

We were just so impressed with the house the yard, and the accommodations. The only thing we had to bring was food and clothes. We had a great time. Michelle could not have done any more to make our stay more wonderful. Only disappointment was that the beach close by, Mitchell Beach, was closed 9-4 Monday through Friday. We found another one. Thank you Michelle and Kevin.

Great stay in Mystic

We rented Michelle’s home for a group of six and a baby for a wedding weekend. The location was perfect and the home was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. Michelle kindly reached out a week before our stay to ask preferences for coffee tea and other beverages. Michelle also provided a tour of the home when we arrived to ensure we knew how to navigate the home. All in all, we had a great weekend.
