Walking distance to the lake, public boat ramp, kayaking, playground, campground, swimming area, hiking trail, picnic area, and covered pavilion for large groups…plus our incredibly equipped game room. 3 minute drive to Hurricane Marina with seasonal boat rentals and restaurant. House is roomy modern design w/2 king suites, 2 queen BRs, sitting area w/sleeper couch. Well furnished deck & screened porch for additional leisure. The sidewalks at each entry are surveilled by motion triggered security cameras.

Our third year staying at this property and we had another wonderful stay. Communication is wonderful, the home itself is always clean and has everything you could need for relaxing and enjoying the lake. We especially enjoyed the addition of new porch swings this year! We hope to return again next year to enjoy this wonderful home.

Mountain Viewsand Lake Adventures-The Perfect Family Escape

We had a fabulous week at this beautiful, modern, and well-maintained home! It was perfect for our group of 17, with plenty of space and a separate area for the kids. The kitchen was fully stocked with high-end appliances, cookware, and plenty of dishes. Beds were super comfortable, and we loved the peaceful setting with deer sightings and birdsong morning and evening.We enjoyed kayaking—having wheels to get them to the launch was a big help. Renting a pontoon from J Beez Watercraft was another highlight—we swam in a quiet holler and went tubing in the afternoon. Just note that the dock is technically in a campground, and someone mentioned we shouldn’t be there, but it wasn’t a big issue.Jason was an excellent host—responsive, helpful, and kind enough to mail back items we forgot. We also visited Fall Creek State Park (great waterfall swimming!) and took a day trip to Nashville, just an hour away.The only minor downside was that while Floating Mill Park is nearby, the walk is about 200 yards downhill, and the small beach has a slippery concrete ramp. Water shoes would help.All in all, a fantastic place for a family getaway. Highly recommend!

Everything we needed was there, and we cooked all of our meals. Best equipped kitchen we've experienced and generous with supplies. We appreciated it was dog friendly, and thoughtful with signage with/about info we needed to know. The hot tub was very nice and big and located inside the screened-in porch. The welcomed surprise for us were all the resident deer who grazed around the area. Great location to the boat launch. There wasn't a dock at the recreation area, however, we loaded everyone on our wakeboard boat and the truck driver was only one who had to swim out to us. The basement was well equiped with gaming for the family and full size bunks for the young adults in our group. The garage space was nice for storing our lake and boat supplies. The house came with kayaks, life jackets and the garbage cans were located in there. We brought our blackstone and set it up with the grill outside of the kitchen. We had plenty of parking for 4 vehicles, and 2 trucks and trailers. Hurricane Marina was around the corner by road and by water. Also, we walked/hiked the roads with our dog, and there were trails, too. We didn't have a need to leave the property, however, the owner provided a list of restaurants that we were interested in for our future visits. Great experience. Very nice home would be great in the winter, too, with the fireplaces and views.

Beautiful place. It fit our needs for a family of 13 adults and three little people. We got to do everything that was on our bucket list. The house was immaculate and the host was very helpful and accommodating. We are definitely thinking about returning. Thanks again Jason.

Great Week at the Lake

We have done a family lake week, staying at this house for the past three years. We love the location. It allows everyone to walk easily to the beach and back. The house itself is beautifully appointed, all the furniture is comfortable and appealing. All the beds were very comfortable. Everything was spotless and well cared for. There were amenities provided in the bathrooms just like in a hotel . It works really well for large groups with varying ages of children. The basement has multiple types of games that allow the kids to hang out downstairs and be separate from the adults. The kitchen is nicely equipped to cook for large groups, which is a big draw for us as that’s not very common at rental homes. This year we used the kayaks several times and they, as always, were a big hit! There are always life preserves that we take advantage of also. Our whole group enjoyed watching for the deer to come out each evening from the front porch. They hang out in the yard in the front and in the back of the house. Jason is a very hands on host, and texted to check to see if we needed anything. One night we picked up dinner from Rose Garden and were happy with their menu and the food was good. It is just a quick drive away. I would recommend this home to any group, large or small.

This property was awesome and perfect for a large family gathering to celebrate my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. Host was easy to communicate with and I had all the information I needed. I would highly recommend!Not only is the property great, but the location is excellent with plenty to do. We enjoyed a hiking trail that started just a few steps away from the driveway, and took advantage of the lake just a quick stroll down the hill. We also found it convenient to run into Cookeville for any grocery needs, and also not too far from Burgess Falls for an afternoon hike.The kitchen was well stocked with all the pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc, needed for the meals we made. (We made a trip to Sam's and Walmart at the beginning of the trip for all our groceries.)The property was in excellent condition and just as advertised. We had a total of 15 people - from a six month old, all the way to a 72 year old! There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. We especially loved having the big porch and the additional screened in porch. The only thing I would say I hadn't thought about were the stairs. This was not a problem for our group, but if you had more than one couple with mobility issues, it could be difficult. (If someone can't do stairs, they can enter on the main floor and stay in the master suite on the same floor.) The couples enjoyed having the bedrooms upstairs and the kiddos loved bunking in the game room.100% recommend!

Perfect retreat for our crew!

We were very impressed and felt right at home in this rental. We loved our time here. We had everything we needed…well stocked kitchen, hot tub, lake views, comfy beds, even high end Electrolux double washer and dryers and keuring with coffee pods included. We also appreciated how they had all the supplies we needed, not just the “starter” set like most hosts do of toilet paper, trash bags, detergent, paper towels, dryer sheets, etc. It was great to have lake views. We also loved having 2 identical master suites. Jason was also readily available if needed. Would like to return!

Fantastic, cozy home

A quick trip but the house was so cozy, clean and perfect location! Literally nothing negative to say at all! The basement area was perfect for our tweens and teens. The fireplace and Christmas tree is a wonderful touch. Having two washers and two dryers was handy! Loved this house and will be back!

Great Spot for a Big Group

Great layout. Kitchen, dining room, and living room on the main floor, with a porch balcony and hot tub. First floor game room was great for the kids. Plenty of bedrooms, private space, and baths upstairs.

Perfect Labor Day Weekend

Our group returned to the house for another long Labor Day weekend. The house fits all of our needs and is the perfect place for kids and adults of all ages. We love staying here and hope to be back again next year for our third time.

Center Hill Treat

The home felt like home!! We had easy access to the boat ramp, swimming area and a play area. The home had everything we needed and some things we didn’t remember to bring! We are definitely planning to book again we had such great family time.

Beautiful home, lots to do

Perfect home for all ages. Game room was a savior, close to marina, dock for loading and unloading of the boat, and swim area with playground. Perfect amount of bedrooms, bathrooms and tv’s. Kitchen was awesome and had everything we needed. Beautiful porch to enjoy the view. Very relaxing setting.

FAMILY RETREAT

This past weekend my family celebrate our Dad's 90 th birthday at this fabulous house. It was absolutely perfect. Truely a five star experience. The owner Jason was very responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend this house for a great gettaway!

Great property for multi family getaway

My family of 15 (10 adults and 5 children ages 9 mos to 17) had a wonderful long weekend family reunion at this property. The home is beautiful with high quality finishes, plus it was very clean, well stocked, and conveniently located to the lake and marina. The configuration of the bedrooms, basement bunk area and bathrooms made it ideal for our 3 separate families. Our family particularly enjoyed the 2 porches. Jason was wonderful to work with and immediately responsive. I highly recommend this property. We plan on coming back next year.

Perfect family gathering

Everything was perfect. This area holds a special place for my family and this was the perfect house to meet for a gathering. Nothing is left out of this house. Of all the VRBO’s we have rented, this is the best stocked house we’ve ever visited. You won’t find a better host for communicating. We didn’t visit any restaurants in the area but the location for the lake is one of the best you will find on Center Hill Lake. Jason’s place will always be our first choice on Center Hill.

Lake House Adventure

We were looking for a place that was above and beyond the typical. We were very happy with the whole vibe the house provided. Very clean, well appointed and executed and in a great location that was easy to access. The amenities covered everybody from the pre-teens to adults. The game room, enclosed outdoor porch and hot tub with fireplace was perfect as well as the long front porch with wood rockers. The laundry machines were high capacity and easy to use. All around a great experience!
