Our home is located on a half acre lot near Ottertail, MN. Our 1000 acre lake boasts great fishing and boating. Or you can just relax on our private beach and swim in our weed free lake. This property is also a great location for ice fishing and winter activities. Boasting 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 living rooms and large kitchen and dining area. Attached 900 sqr ft deck with patio furniture and out door grills. Stamped concrete sidewalk straight to the dock and to the firepit area.

Very lovely, roomy home, supplied with just about everything a family would want or need. Nice big yard, great beach - would be awesome for younger children - and a gigantic lakeside deck plus another large deck on the other side of the house. The owner was very congenial, helpful and easy to reach if needed. Lake Buchanan is good for pan fish (sunnies, fun especially for children to catch) crappies, blue gills, walleye, bass & northern! Our family had a wonderful time there!!

Great location and lots of room

This was such a nice property. Lots of space for our family and loved being able to go to the lake and play in the sand. It is in a great location and there was great communication with the property owner.

Beautiful beach and lake

This was a beautiful lake. The sandy beach area was great for the kids. We also loved the nice fire pit area and large deck. The owner was extremely friendly, responsive, and easy to work with.

Very nice place to stay. Loved the two living rooms with tv. Great deck beautiful lake. Weather was hot but sitting on the deck with lake breeze was nice.

Family vacation

Three generation vacation

This property was perfect for our group of 5 adults and 6 children. Everything we needed to have a great vacation. We enjoyed the beach, lily pad, fire pit, kayak, beautiful decks, outdoor seating, blackstone grill and everything the home had to offer. The host was very accommodating and neighbors were great, too.

Enjoyed our stay

Pictures matched what the property has offer. Nice sandy beach, great deck to grill, clean house with plenty of sleeping areas. The hosts were great to work with. I would recommend to others.

Great Stay

My family and I had a great time staying at this house. We had 8 adults in our group and had plenty of room for everyone. It was clean and as described. The weather was a little cool but we were able to get some fishing in and catch a few. We also were able to do some other activities in the area. The host gave us good information and was great at communicating when necessary. We plan on staying here again next year!

Lake vacation

Everything went smoothly. The “cabin” was spacious and well laid out for children. Great Lake with sandy beach. Everyone in our party would return again. Marybeth was great hostess.

Very nice outdoor space!

Beautiful patio and view of lake with great grill for morning breakfast outdoors in a nice setting. Very quiet lake with a few kids having fun one afternoon, too cold for us to swim though. Our Mother/Daughter Annual outings feature cooking, eating, card-playing, shopping. The city of Ottertail is 5 miles away with one nice boutique. Plenty of sleeping areas and big kitchen. Owner was very friendly and communication good.

Great Rental property!

We chose to VRBO vs pulling our camper and was the best idea ever! Love the outdoor space! Amazing deck (no worry about splinters in your feet) w/patio seating and having use of a grill & Blackstone! Great fire pit area! Beach was good for swimming with kids (water level a bit low during our stay but had fun) The only draw back was the boat lift was to small for our boats so the guys had to trailer each night however they did like fishing the numerous lakes within a short distance of our location!

This property is the best rental our family ever stayed at for our annual disconnect from the daily grind & reconnect as a family week. Marybeth is an outstanding host. She thought of everything you need to be comfortable both inside and out. There was plenty of room for our 3 families.The kitchen felt like a chef’s kitchen with all the supplies, gas range, and commercial sized refrigerator! We especially appreciated the filtered water provided. There was room for us to dine inside or outside. The bathrooms were great, but a special treat for all was the beautiful, modern, oversized shower in the master suite. There are two living rooms, one with games and puzzles aplenty, stocked for every age group! Wireless is available. And while we did not use them much, there was a TV in every room. There are large decks in the front and back, with comfortable seating, including cushions. The front entry included both stairs and a ramp to the front door.The backyard is so large. There’s a very nice sized fire pit area, including chairs. There’s a comfortable walking path leading down to the lake, & perfect for the little ones is a long beach area - perfect for sand play & rock/shell hunting. The other plus for little ones is the lake is very clear, and it stays shallow for a long way out. Marybeth also provides a lily pad. During our stay the amount of weeds near our beach was very limited. There are deep areas in the late as well, great for swimming. Go for it. It’s a 10

Family Vacation

This was our second time staying at this property. It works well for a group of adults that want to spend time together. Some updates had been made since last year and made the property even better. Host is very responsive and it is a great location.
