Our stay here was wonderful. The place is clean and adorably decorated. The bed was very comfortable with even cozier bedding. The cottage offers everything you need for a great getaway. We highly recommend it!

A weekend in June!

We stayed at the “cozy country cottage” two nights during a family gathering at our son’s house only 12 minutes away. The cottage is very comfortable, was a perfect location for us and in very close proximity to Ridgefield as well as local museums, hiking trails and dining.

A lovely place and stay

The cottage was just as described, with ample, well-designed, and lovely space indoors and out. The owners were incredibly hospitable and I was very appreciative of the fruit and muffins that greeted me upon arrival! I would most certainly stay there again!

Great Cottage…Great location

I stayed at the cottage over the weekend. The place was very clean and welcoming! A quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough if you wanted to find shopping or great restaurants within a 10-15 minute drive. They had fresh fruit and a muffin upon my arrival, which was a nice touch!

What’s a wonderful place. We had to cut our stay short for a family matter but would love to go back. Great place and wonderful host. Oh yeah the muffins were outstanding!

Wonderful cottage and location!

After driving 600 miles, we arrived at the cottage early evening. Fergus and team had set up everything, the lights were on, there were snacks and fruit, which was lovely. The cottage is small, but so well decorated and appointed. For the two of us and our dogs, it was the perfect setup. Fergus was available and attentive. We loved our two nights and highly recommend the place. Thank you Fergus and team. G&R

The cottage was exactly as described in the listing, if not better. It was extremely clean and comfortable with a variety of amenities on top of being pet friendly. The hosts were very friendly, responsive and accommodating. We would highly recommend to others looking for a getaway in Westchester county!

Simple but nice cottage/cabin

Nice little cabin in rural NY. Wonderful, attentive hosts. This cottage has the basics: reasonably comfortable bed, kitchenette (mini fridge, hot plate, air fryer, etc), wifi and TV with many apps. We were there on a very cold night and the 2 space heaters weren't really sufficient (about 60 degrees). Then it warmed into the high 30s and we were warm and cozy. Shower is weak. Bathroom is tiny. Futon couch/bed is awkward to sit on. But if you're not a fussy traveler and are using the cottage mostly as a place to sleep (as we were), it's a charming little place to stay.

Wonderful Cabin!

My family had a great weekend staying at the cabin. Although it was close to the house, we felt like we had complete privacy and it was nice to have the outdoor space as well. The hosts gave us great recommendations in the area and we even were greeted with delicious muffins and other treats. We would highly recommend this cabin and cannot say enough good things about our stay!

Weak on kitchen appliances

Great location, cute mini home, but kitchen appliances were small and insufficient. Day bed in living room was difficult to use as a sofa. Air conditioning was weak for a hot summer.

Quaint Cottage - perfect weekend getaway

During a difficult time when my wife and I drove up for a funeral, we were fortunate to find this hidden gem. Nestled away from the main house, the cottage offered us the much-needed privacy and tranquility we were seeking. It was immaculately clean and exquisitely decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly put us at ease. The host went above and beyond to ensure our comfort during our stay. From the thoughtful provision of coffee and snacks to the attentive and caring demeanor, they truly made us feel like honored guests. Despite our limited time, we could sense the charm of the surrounding town, with enticing restaurants just a stone’s throw away. Although we couldn’t fully explore due to the busyness of the occasion, we left with a longing to return and uncover all the hidden treasures this place has to offer. Should our paths lead us back to this area, we wouldn’t hesitate to choose this delightful cottage once more. Its serene ambiance, coupled with the exceptional hospitality we experienced, makes it an absolute standout.
