Spacious Home 5 Minute Drive to Beach

Welcome to the Anchor house in Wells, Maine-a brand new, nautical themed paradise! Relax and unwind on the large farmer’s porch in one of the comfortable Adirondack chairs. The house is centrally located in a quiet neighborhood that is close to both Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. This new home is quite spacious, with a large open concept floor plan with plenty of seating to accommodate large families. The kitchen island seats 5 people and the dining room table comfortably seats 8. There is a large, fully equipped kitchen with quartz counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The sizeable bedrooms will comfortably sleep 10 guests, with the benefit of a master bedroom suite consisting of a king size bed, seating area, spacious closet, TV, double sink and walk in shower. Sit back and enjoy a movie in the living room on the 55” TV with sound bar and fireplace, where you can enjoy movies, or play one of the numerous games supplied for your pleasure. For the ultimate comfort, air conditioning and heat in each room can be controlled separately. Guests will have access to the entire home with the exception of the basement, which may be at times occupied by owner. No parties of any kind are allowed, including Bachelor/Bachelorette as this is a private neighborhood.
Enjoy eating at the many great restaurants in the area:
The Maine Steak House (our favorite), Mike’s Clam Shack, Sea Coast Pizza, The Front Yard, Joshua’s and more. For those with a sweet tooth, no trip to Wells is complete without a walk over to the Scoop Deck for homemade ice cream.

Ogunquit Beach 2.1 m The outside area includes a patio with a fire pit, Barbecue grill and outdoor furniture on the deck located off the Living room. Owner may at time occupy lower unit that has a completely separate entrance and driveway.

Beautiful home on a lovely very quiet street. Very clean& stocked with everything you could need. Deck & yard were very relaxing to sit & enjoy the quiet. Rooms & decor were beautiful. Nice touch of my favorite nautical theme. Also they even had the porch decorated for fall! Everything was just perfect! I would definitely stay here again.

4 women totally enjoyed this space. Open floor plan main level made conversations and gathering easy. Excellent breakfast places north and south of house. Visited several lovely beaches, metered parking was easy enough. We would consider renting again. Owner very responsive, all positive.

I had a wonderful stay at this VRBO! The communication with the host was excellent, and the location was perfect—convenient and safe. The house was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood was lovely and felt very secure. I highly recommend it!

Great Family Trip

I booked this spot for my father in law, brother in law, husband , two year old and myself. It was a very nice and comfortable house. I found some of the decorations to be a little too delicate and fragile for being safe with a toddler around. I would have appreciated a railing at the steps to the entry for my child and father in law to get up and down the porch steps more safely. The furnishings and rooms were comfortable and we had everything that we needed for a nice stay. A short drive to the beach, grocery store, restaurants and attractions.

Excellent Wells, Maine home

Group included 6 adults.The home was built in 2023 and was an excellent design for our needs. Three bedrooms with several additional pull outs / bunk beds available. Fulluy equiped kitchen, with toiletries provided for all guests. Great choice for the Wells area

Maine Charm

Wow this house was so cute! The main living areas were even larger in person then they appear online! So spacious. The decor is cute, nautical and charming. I loved the attention to detail with all the decor. The front porch even seems to be decorated to match the season, which I loved! Overall, everyone LOVED this house and we would absolutely stay again. However, the cleanliness could improve slightly in regards to the floors throughout, and the dusting on fans, lights, etc. The outdoor furniture has also seen better days and is rough condition. However, overall, the property is much more modern and updated than many rentals in the surrounding area. Nevertheless, the location is perfectly situated with easy short drives to Wells Beach, downtown Ogunquit & Kennebunkport. Lastly, this house suited all of our needs and met our expectations! The host was VERY responsive and timely with all requests. I will consider this property again for future stays!

Nice and Quiet

The home is very nice, and as mentioned new. It was very clean, for those that are clean freaks (like me). All spaces were comfortable and had everything you would need. It is right off of the main road, making going out easy. Yet, it is located in a small grouping of homes, making it very quiet. I would not hesitate to rent if you want to be in Wells.

Awesome property for family stay

This property was perfect for our family’s stay. There were six of us including a grandfather, teenager, and child. The house is so spacious with plenty of space for everyone. We even had a larger family gathering for dinner one night and it did not feel crowded even with 16 of us! The house is so clean and the owner was super responsive. The house is a close drive to everything you will want to do. Would love to stay again!

The house was the perfect size for us. We were pleasantly surprised when we pulled up and the outside was decorated for Christmas with lights, etc. and then when we walked in there was a small Christmas tree lit up with other decorations, which made it feel very homey.

Thanksgiving getaway

We loved the house! It’s warm and cozy, plenty of room to spread out but it also has a great family room/kitchen area where the family can be together. We loved watching movies in front of the fireplace and just hanging out. We thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving in Wells. The entire house is well appointed and has all of the things we needed. The beds were very comfy, the water was hot and the house was very clean, everything I need. ;-) We also appreciated the Xmas decorations when we arrived, it was a nice touch. The house has a good location, easy to get to Kennebunkport, Portland, Oqonquin, etc and the Wells Amtrak station is just 20 mins away. The owners are very responsive and easy to work with.

Spacious accommodation

Beautiful, spacious accommodations, and tastefully decorated. The downstairs is very open and perfectly suited for relaxing/eating/entertaining. Easy to get to, convenient location right off Route 1. Quick/easy communications with the owner. Highly recommend!

very clean, very vrbo

Very clean house, though the fumes from all fhe detergents were overwhelming. House is very new, has the new-build feel. Definitely outfitted to be a vacation rental with builder grade finishings. Did have a visible patch or two where I suspect there may have been a water leak. All in all a comfortable stay on a nice little plot, and very well situated between Wells and Ogunquit. Note the pull out beds in the secondary bedrooms - we initially thought the listing was inaccurate until we found those. A good stay.

Very nice house!

Nicely decorated nautical theme, comfortable beds and well-equipped kitchen. Very close and convenient to downtown Ogunquit. Our only regret was not having enough time to relax on the deck and enjoy the fire table. Highly recommend.

Memorable mini break

Our family really enjoyed the spacious communal areas, effective A/C, comfortable furnishings, and clean, tidy home for our memorial gathering. It made for a comfortable stay, where we enjoyed each others company and felt very at home.
