It was fun

We enjoyed a quiet and peaceful stay. Everything we needed was there and there was plenty of space for everyone. We saw lots of wild life in the morning and evenings. Just and all around pleasant experience.

Met some friends for the weekend, yard was perfect for games and hanging out. Perfect place not far from city center. Would definitely stay again.

Overall the house was amazing! Location was great! Host was very responsive throughout the whole process. Even in the beginning when I was asking about the area, how far certain places were from the hosue. There was more than enough room for the amount of people in our family of 50, inside and out. The temperature dropped on Thanksgiving, so we had to fit everyone inside. It would have been nice to have a TV in the living room to watch the football game. Disliked the kitchen, it was very small for that size house, a great addition could possibly be putting in an island. It did the job, but with all the food we had to cook, it took a bit longer. The outside outlets were blocked which we noticed on the day of the event. There were bees and ants on the windows in the upstairs bathroom and bedrooms. Other than that, I would definitely rent again for a future function.

Beautiful property

We loved the wide open green spaces surrounding the property. To sit on the front or back porch and enjoy the farm land around was a real treat. The house is very roomy and comfortable.

Excellent property

Property simply perfect. The wrap around front porch & rockers was my favorite coffee spot. Centrally located to all desired areas of interest, while being secluded from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Already planning our next trip back. Thank you for the perfect home away from home!

Just Right!

A great place to lay your head and enjoy the peace and quiet. Close enough to the speedway and a good selection of restaurants to make for a great trip. Clean and spacious. We'll be back.

The pictures don't do this home justice. It was absolutely breathtaking.

The total experience was start to finish was professional and smooth. The host made sure that the house was fully stocked and extra cheap.

Private, Spacious, Perfect

This is one of the best rentals I have possibly ever stayed at. I cannot even begin to describe how perfect this home is. Its extremely spacious and very accommodating. I had family come from all across the US and they were very very impressed. The privacy was so perfect yet its located so close to everything. This is definitely going to be a recommended spot for any family or friends coming into this area to visit.

The Listing Does Do It Justice

My friends and I had an amazing time! We rented the house for a bachelorette weekend. There was plenty of space, very clean, isolated and peaceful. It was less than 10-20 minutes from everywhere we needed to go. I will definitely be renting this space again for my family.

A beautiful, well-kept and spacious country home.

Lots of recreational choices including bbq pit, swing, and family games. Pool table was a big hit. Distance was only15 minutes away from many attractions we wanted to visit. Gas bbq needed attention so we didn't use but everything else was in top condition. Great choice for families with a variety of ages.

Excellent Property for the Family

We wanted a property for a mini-family reunion of our 3 adult children, their spouses, and our 2 grandchildren, as we were all able to conveniently meet here in Charlotte for a few days. This was a perfect home with comfortable living spaces, a well stocked kitchen, entertainment amenities, plenty of outdoor play area, and a convenient location. The property manager was very accessible and responsive to our questions and needs. Would highly recommend this property as a quiet get-away, but not far from the active commercial area of "Birkdale Village".

Family wedding

The house was perfect for our needs. We were visiting the area for family wedding and needed a large house for us (8 adults plus infant). The checkin was very easy and house was just like the pictures. Communications with owners was very quick and they allowed us late check out. The beds were harder than our normal sleeping conditions and there was limited abilities to keep the basement bedroom area warm but otherwise a great visit. Definitely recommend for large group gatherings and central location within the Charlotte area.

Great location and would be good for larger groups

Overall we had a decent stay here. The house is on a beautiful piece of property and very convenient to everything in Huntersville and Charlotte! We saw deer every day and it was very serene. We needed somewhere to have our usual routine and we found certain things about the property challenging. There was only one tv and it was in the basement, and there weren’t any window treatments on the back of the house (living room/ kitchen). There aren’t any homes behind the property so it’s not a big deal but made us a little uncomfortable. The house has everything you need for basic cooking. It seemed as though the house had been empty for a while because there were wasps (the property manager treated the first day but there were still more), ladybugs and stink bugs. Again, not a big deal. Overall cool spot and would be good for an event or group!

Wonderful Getaway!

My family of eight traveled for a wedding. It was so nice to be able to stay together rather than get individual hotel rooms. We spend the whole time outside, and it was perfect. You feel like you are far away in the country. It is peaceful and quiet, but you are within minutes of town. The house had everything we needed. It could not have been a better getaway weekend!

We had an amazing time celebrating our daughters first birthday. It was an intimate family gathering and this property was perfectly tucked away for us to enjoy each other. It’s a beautiful property and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We had 0 issues and everything was flawless!Thank you!
