Willard Lodge | Hottub

Experience that classic cottage in the woods feel with a rustic retreat. Nestled in a quiet, tree lined setting, yet only 2.2 miles to Little Marina, 3.5 miles to Lighthouse Resort & Marina. Our home offers both comfort and convivence. When you're not out on the water, relax in the outdoor entertainment space with the covered patio, hot tub, firepit, gas grill, and cornhole. On the inside enjoy the game room with Smart TV, foosball, air hockey, and games!

Enjoy sunsets and large backyard with the occasional herds of deer and other wildlife showing up in the wooded area.

Lake Texoma minutes away with, boat rentals, boat cruise, horseback riding. Undock at Denison Dam approximately 10 minutes away.

The hot tub might appear discolored due to tree shadows and higher iron levels in the water. We service the hot tub weekly, and it is safe for guest use. A net is provided for you to remove any debris that may fall from the trees.

Property sits near a dead end. Please be respectful of neighbors and park in the driveway. Don't park on street. No lake access from the property. In the winter you may be able to see views between trees and neighboring homes. Smart TVs only. No cable or satellite.

Please note we are near the lake. If you leave outside lights on and doors open they will come inside.

Hot tub is accessible from yard or walking out of the back door. Supervise children. No running. No diving. No glass containers. No lifeguard on duty. Use hot tub at your own risk. Please note the water in the area is not the best. The hot tub at times has a lot of iron.

Family Gathering

We enjoyed our stay at this lake house. Close to the lake and some local entertainment at the marinas. We would definitely stay here again. House is beautifully decorated and very comfortable.

Wonderful for family gatherings

There was clear communication with the owner. The home was exactly as pictured and was stocked with everything we needed. The area was great and we felt welcomed. Great private outdoor space and we would definitely go back with friends or family.

Lake house

This was a nice and cozy home to enjoy our weekend. Plenty of room in the kitchen to cook and enjoy our meals. The beds where comfortable and the showers were very nice. The backyard was very accommodating which was nice. We would definitely come back for another stay.

Memorial weekend

Wonderful house in a beautiful setting with trees and great hot tub. Only 5 miles to Highport to launch boat. Had a wonderful times and beds comfy! We will be back!

Guided fishing trip

very nice and clean. We had 1 shower that wouldnt drain, but we just used the other 2. Thats our 2nd time to stay and both times were very nice

Great House

Great house to visit with family. Huge kitchen, living room and game room. Had one issue and property management was very responsive. I will definitely try to get this property again.

Relaxing

This house was great for us. There was plenty of room for everyone. The game was a hit with the kids with all the activities and the TV which made great movie nights. Overall I would say the outside of the house was the biggest attraction for us it's where we spent most of our nights. We would definitely stay here again.

Lake Texoma House

We stay two nights but mostly slept here as we were attending a family reunion in the area. This is a very nice property but we did have some issues. Management was extremely prompt at addressing the issues and fixing the problems. We would stay here again. The kids loved the game room with air hockey and foose ball.

Getaway for my husband’s birthday

We had a great time fishing, boating, enjoying the fire pit and the beautiful (clean) property. The teens enjoyed the hot tub, the game room, corn hole and extra’s this home had to offer. The property is gorgeous and has plenty of space for two families.. The only complaint I have is the tiny insects at the back door. Thoroughly enjoyed our time! Very peaceful and clean

Great place for the family

My family stayed here during the week of my wedding. They very much enjoyed their stay. The only thing that could have been better is the main shower in the bedroom was backing up almost immediately. So they had to use the other shower the whole time. Had a strange smell. But other than that, everything else was absolutely perfect. Thank you!

Review of home

Lake Texhoma is a beautiful area. The overall stay at the home was fine but not to the full enjoyment. Two reasons why. Two concerns while staying at the vrbo. 1: floors were NOT cleaned properly. When kids walk around barefoot their feet were dirty. Laminate Floors could use a good mopping/cleaning. 2. The master bathroom shower drain was clogged. After one minute in the shower, water would pool up. Fix those two things and we would book another stay next year. Thanks for your consideration.

Great House but Bad Experience

My wife and 5 kids booked this house for Christmas for 3 days/2 nights. The house was nice with lots of amenities. Upon check in everything seemed to be fine. The family started to take showers the first evening to find there was no hot water to the showers. I called the owner to let them know and we were told the pipes could be frozen. The pipes however were not frozen, as each sink in the three bathrooms all had hot water. Later the first night when we went to use the microwave we found that it would not heat properly. I contacted them about that as well and was told they would contact us back and try to have someone come out the next day. I sent pictures of a thermometer showing the sink temps at 124 degrees and the shower temps at 91. I then sent a video of me microwaving butter on High Power level for 1 minute and it not melting the butter. We got no response the next day nor anyone coming out to check on the issues. The only thing we heard back was the morning of check out with check out instructions. After spending 3 days with the seven of us not being able to shower we were all very upset. The owner asked what I was looking for in terms of making things right and I told them I felt we should be refunded part of our stay in which their response was no. They said they went to the property after our check out and that everything worked fine and our issues were the result of “user error”. We were even told that we didn’t know how to turn the shower all the way to hot or know how to use the microwave, even though pictures and videos were shared with them. This could have been a great place to stay again but because of the dishonesty from the owner and insulting our intelligence by saying we did not know how to use a basic microwave or shower, I could never recommend this home to anyone.
