Wake up to the sound of crashing waves and beautiful ocean views! Take a dip in the pool after a summer day at the beach, or warm up in hot tub on a chilly night. This house has everything! If you have been looking for the perfect location, this is it. Directly across the street from the beach, still walkable to center street, but not so close as to be a nuisance. With a hot tub, pool, pool table, ping pong table, and again, ocean view from every bedroom, this has too many amenities to pass up!

While there are 2 parking spots in front of the house, the back of the house has a huge driveway with ample parking for another 5 cars.

Great location

We had a wonderful stay here! We played pool all week and hung out by the pool most days. Quick walk to the beach across the street. About a mile walk down to the pier- perfect! The kitchen was well equipped and we loved the ice maker and the extra fridge just to put drinks in. Highly recommend this place!

We had a wonderful stay! I had my bachelorette party here and it was the perfect place for it! The rooms were spacious & clean, the bathrooms were nice, and we particularly loved the fridge space and hot tub. There was a fridge in the family room area and a fridge in the kitchen. There were plenty of cooking supplies & plates to make meals which was also nice. The host was very responsive and answered all of my questions! We wished there were more full length mirrors, hair dryers available, and hooks to hang the bath towels in the upstairs bathroom. The location was also wonderful, it’s super close to the beach literally across the street and a few blocks away from some great coffee shops and the Main Street and 20 ish mins from Charleston. Would totally stay here again in the future!!

Weekend Trip to Folly Beach

This home was incredible! Amazing views, a 1 mile walk to downtown Folly Beach, and right across the street from the beach. We absolutely loved our stay here and April was a great host for our entire trip!

Overall we had a great experience. The owner was quick to respond when the hot tub went off and wouldn’t heat. The pool area was where we spent the most of our time and everyone enjoyed.

Wonderful 3 Generation Family Time!

Grandparents took our 3 adult children and spouses with our 6 Grandkids to the beach. The pool was a wonderful addition to the last time we did this! The home is wonderfully structured to allow a gathering for all and yet has space to find small group gathering or reading / game opportunity. All agreed a better layout than our "on the beach" home from our last trip....though if that vacant lot sells very limited ocean views.

Great family vacation house

We loved our stay at Teal sunrise. The pictures in the listing give an accurate representation of the house, and the kitchen is extremely well stocked. Our family enjoy the beach, pool, and even hot tub. We were delighted with how many beach chairs there were available, so many beach towels, and places to sit on the front porches to enjoy the view during rain storms. April was very accommodating and quick to respond to questions. We would definitely rent this house again! Oh, and so much parking!

Great option for bachelorette party! Amazing location, lots of room

We had a great stay on Folly at Jennifer’s beach house. The house has lots of room and lots of bathrooms so it was perfect for a girls trip. The pool and hot tub were great. May have experienced a delay because of a holiday weekend but the pool cleaner didn’t come as anticipated so we did have to do a little skimming ourselves but the hot tub was clean and heated. It really is steps from the beach which was awesome for walks and views. My 2 thoughts for improvement are to update some of the linens (towels feel a little worn) and outdoor furniture isn’t in the beat condition, and as a group who likes to cook, I think the could be better appointed. Tupperware and cling wrap or foil would be helpful and there were no sponges for the dishes, so we had to run out and buy those. We were warned about only having a little toilet paper and paper towels, but we only had one roll of paper towel, not even one spare, that would be a helpful touch which I have seen as pretty standard at other houses, The host was helpful when we needed laundry soap, but we had asked to hear the pool and she didn’t respond for 24 hours because she was out of cell service which is tricky when managing your own property and not available to guests, Overall, a few small things we noticed that would bring this from a 4.5/5 to a 5, but we had an awesome time and would definitely come back to Folly Beach

Sprucing up.

The house is in a great location and was great for our family vacation. Below are some observations for improvement. The house is in need of a sprucing up and modernizing. All the decking needs painting and some repairs. There is a board on the South side of the pool that has no support creating a hazard. The deck furniture had some mildew stains. The back door does not open properly. The door leading down to the garage does not lock. Since the garage door does not lock the house is not secure. The shutter on the master bedroom door leading to the the upper deck needs repair. There is a door knob to the master bathroom is off, sitting on a shelf and needs to be put back. The master bathroom needs to be modernized.

Good, not great

This is a good house - and we had a great week in it - but the expectations in this price range were not met. First off, the pictures reflect the photographers skill more than the property. The house needs some updating - from boards on the pool deck not being fastened to the floor, to missing pieces on appliances (cover above the microwave), to stains on ceilings (outside of the ceiling condensation we discussed with owners) - the house maintenance is a step below what we expected. Additionally the description that all rooms have a beach view is not accurate. Would also add that two bedrooms appear to be a converted attic - they are plenty large and nice, but unable to maintain a comfortable temp in the heat of the summer. On the plus side - the location is great, having a pool is terrific (the reason we rented), and having a pool table/ping pong is a nice addition. The owners were also pleasant and available. Overall the house is nice and we love Folly - just feel at this price it needs to be in better shape and feel a little higher-end.

Perfect!

We had a wonderful stay over a long weekend with friends and 6 small children. It was a beautiful home with everything we needed. So easy to get to the beach and chairs were much appreciated. Host was extremely responsive and even went the extra mile to send a lost stuffed animal to us after it was left behind. Couldn’t recommend more highly!

Folly Beach House

We had a wonderful stay on Folly Beach. The location was great. Right across from the ocean and a short drive or walk to town! Charleston, and all that it has to offer, is a quick 20 minute drive to most attractions there. The house is well suited and appointed for larger groups or families. Morning coffee (and evening drinks 😉) on the ocean-facing porches can’t be beat! April was very accommodating and responsive during our stay! Thanks!

While we've been in Charleston for over 20 years, we moved to Folly to raise our family 10 years ago and now can't imagine living anywhere else! My husband is a dedicated surfer and is passing this passion for the ocean along to our daughters. We love sharing a bit of our paradise with friends and family.

We've been looking like a property like this for years! It is truly incredible. Directly across the street from the beach, with any and all amenities to make this the best vacation you could ever ask for. Along with 6 large bedrooms all with ocean views, the house hosts a pool, hot tub, pool table, ping pong table, wine fridge, ice machine, elevator, ample parking, etc, etc!

Only 20 rental properties on Folly have their own private pools, but to have full ocean views as well is truly rare!
