Data Center Peeps- 3 KING/1 Queen Weekly tidy up! 3,000 sq ft

This near century old manufacturing warehouse is home to a newly renovated 3,000 sq ft loft apartment in the SoDA district. It is on the National Registry of Historic Places and is just across the tracks from downtown. The Dodge Jones Center, ACU, Hardin-Simmons, and the Expo Center are approximately three miles away.

We fell in love with this building almost thirty years ago and have tried to create a home that is comfortable while preserving some of the unique features of its history.

We work hard to take care of our loft and guests to ensure they have a wonderful stay and would love to host you. We love hospitality and pray for sweet moments and safe travels for all. If you need a place to have a party, we aren't a good match for you for this stay, but maybe next time!

Other details.

An ozone machine with UV is used as part of our regular cleaning procedures. ALL bedding, mattress protectors, pillow protectors, and throws are washed between guests.
-Weekly tidy-ups
-Smart lock/keypad check in
-New mattresses and linens
-65" ROKU TV in the living room
-55" ROKU TV in the master bedroom
-10' tall windows fitted with blackout shades
-Fast WiFi -New washer and drier

-Mini-split units in the two bedrooms with full windows, standing fans in the remaining two

-Bedside table lamps with USB ports
-White noise machines
-Full length mirrors
-Plenty of seating

We live a few minutes away should you need anything. You aren't likely to see us, but we may need to access the space behind the unit to retrieve a tool via the hallway alongside the unit.

The downstairs is currently a working warehouse.
Please don't park in front of the dock or the double /roll up doors or you may be asked to move your vehicle.

Please note-

The building is nearly a century old in WEST Texas. While every care is taken to thoroughly clean the loft, there are small places, especially in and around the windows where a little dust can enter your space where original features of the building remain.

The warehouse is located near railroad tracks; you can hear trains pass by. There are noise machines in each bedroom.

Search no more, this place is perfect and unique!

This warehouse loft is immaculate, the perfect open floorplan and room for everyone. This place was so much fun to stay at. You are within walking distance to many fun restaurants, boutiques and coffee shops downtown. Do not let the deserted look of the warehouse concern you, nor the 32 steps. The steps are not bad at all and once you open the door, a beautiful loft awaits you. Melissa and her husband were so helpful and accommodating. They had special treats waiting for us and included the most personal touches for our stay. Do not hesitate to book this place, you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful surprise!!!

We were a little nervous when we pulled up to a warehouse. It is in a part of downtown that is being redone. One street over was a coffee shop, restaurants, and stores. Once we got inside...it was just like the pictures!!! Absolutely beautiful and very spacious. We had 6 adults staying and we had plenty of room. The owner went out of her way and left us a personal note, snacks, water/cokes in the frig, and a scrabble sheet with all our names. We really enjoyed our stay.

Loft Living

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was wonderful experiencing loft life. We would totally do it again if we’re ever in the Abilene area. Highly rated that you stay at this property. If we could give it higher than a 5 star rating we would! We were even given snacks and drinks, bathrooms were stocked with shower supplies!

Perfect Unique Stay

My family and I greatly enjoyed the Warehouse Loft. It was so unique, yet so cozy - it felt like home! Melissa, the host is Amazing! She has thought of everything to make your stay perfect. Exceptional Experience

From the moment we booked this loft, Melissa was responsive to our needs and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. We were there with our 16 month old grandson and Melissa provided a pack and play as well as a high chair and toys. Above and beyond. The loft is so spacious and well appointed! Special touches such as snacks and drinks, a hand written note and a welcome sign customized to why we were visiting Abiliene... and so many extra touches...too many to mention. Location was great!! Walking distance to restaurants, bars, and fun places. We will definitely be back whenever we are in Abilene. Thanks, Melissa!!

Warehouse Stay

The warehouse was very well appointed, and we enjoyed our time there. We were in Abilene for a work trip, but were able to relax and spread out in the evening in the spacious accommodation.

This welcoming loft is pristine, comfortable and exceeded all of our expectations. The location was great. Easy walking distance to restaurants and coffee. Just a quick drive to Taylor Telecom Arena. Our kind hosts anticipated every need and fully explained all that we needed to know about their cool property before we arrived.

Wonderfully Unique Downtown Condo

My family of four thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in Abilene. The warehouse condo was very well appointed and comfortable. The owner added small details that really made an impact. She had a welcome sign made with our names on it. There were snacks laid out for the taking and drinks in the fridge. She also left us a handwritten thank you note for choosing her place. The location was right across the railroad tracks from downtown Abilene where there are lots of restaurants, drinking establishments, bakeries, coffee shops, and boutiques. I was surprised at how nice the downtown area was. I had no expectations before going to Abilene. We would most definitely stay at the warehouse condo again and we highly recommend it!

The Warehouse

Pictures do not do this property justice! It absolutely amazing!! I highly recommend this property to anyone headed to the area! The management is awesome! One minor hiccup & Melissa was there in a snap & took care of everything! This is a perfect, perfect rental!!

Great place! Big space and quiet.

RIght in the heart of Abilene so everything was easy access and only a short drive away. Large space with plenty of room to spread out. Management was 5 stars and always available. Will be back on my next visit.

Great Find in Abilene

This was truly top3 places I have stayed in the world. I loved the area and layout and the ambiance of the space. Host was amazing. Kept great communication with me prior and during the stay. Host went far and beyond with a personalized welcome sign and some snacks for the kids. My three year old enjoyed the kids books and feel we read them at least 5 times. Great place and will be definitely staying there again when we return to Abilene.

Everything about this property was wonderful. It was a neat experience staying in a renovated warehouse. Walking distance to The Mill. This is a must stay at when in Abilene.

Sweet Surprise!!!!

We had such a wonderful time. Melissa is by far the best VRBO manager I have ever worked with. She went out of her way to make sure everything was well communicated and ready for our arrival. Don’t let the warehouse exterior decor fool you. Once you step inside it is amazingly decorated and comfortable. Our stay was perfect in every way!!!!!!! The entire loft was immaculately clean!! Should we ever make it back to Abilene, we will never stay anywhere else!! Thank you Melissa!!!!!!

A weekend of royalty

This was by far, the best VRBO experience we have had. Melissa was very communicative throughout the whole process, the loft was in immaculate shape, and snacks and drinks were there for our hungry teenagers. They had a great welcoming card, along with a personalized paper with our names on it, made everything feel like home! The loft had everything we needed and more and I loved the abundance amount of information that helped me from asking a ton of questions. Thank you for hosting our team and making us feel so welcome!

Great Stay for Golfing w/ Friends

Melissa and Shane have an outstanding property in the SODA district of Abilene that was a very will maintained luxurious 4 bedroom loft apartment that spacious and easily accommodated our needs. It is in a short walking distance to a brewery, pubs and nice local eateries. They are EXCELLENT hosts that went above and beyond to clearly communicate information about the accommodations as well as venues to try. Extra touches were given to provided us with snacks, drinks (water and sodas) and several personalized messages to make us feel welcome! I highly recommend this stay!!!
