Hanalei Bay Resort 5304: This beautiful studio room is located on the top floor with high open-beam ceilings. It is surrounded by tropical foliage and spectacular views of Hanalei Bay and Bali Hai. On your very own private lanai, you will capture the true Hawaiian Aloha Spirit with the sound of waterfalls and evenings filled with Hawaiian music in the background.
Our air-conditioned unit has luxurious carpeting throughout. This studio space offers a King size bed and a Day Bed with a trundle - space for 4 to sleep and has been tastefully decorated in island furniture. Free WiFi included.


The resort Fee is $45 per day and includes parking. The resort also charges a $50, one-time check in fee.
Please inquire if a pack n play is needed.

Excellent small unit at HBR

I had a great stay at this clean, well maintained studio with a nice view. It was recently remodeled, and it had everything that I needed including a small refrigerator and a very comfortable bed. I would definitely stay here again.

Great room, Incredible view!!

Everything was perfect! Super helpful and accommodating staff! Excellent beach, pool was fantastic! Would definitely stay here again, only longer! Also, highly recommend the Mahi Mahi tacos at Happy Talk!

Happy Place

My GF and I really enjoyed staying at Hanalei Bay Resorts and in 3504. Elizabeth He dricks was a very responsive hosts and the unit had everything we needed, from TV, to fridge, supplies for the beach and a great view to wake up to every am. The grounds were super nice with brach and pool access and also close to 1 Hotel which eas nice. I will be back

Amenities in unit were outdated. Toaster oven instead of microwave would be nice. Floors were sticky in bathroom. Sand on chairs outside. Dusty shelves in kitchen area where cups & dishes were.

Great room in beautiful resort

Room had almost everything we needed and is located in a beautiful resort. We did need to run out to buy batteries for the air conditioner remote to get it to work, but it did thereafter. Bathroom is surprising large and everything was very clean.

September Visit

The stay was great and the small little unit fit our needs perfectly. Great location with easy in and out. Great views and quiet balcony to enjoy morning coffee and evenings. Didn’t need to talk with manager as everything was good. We bring our own umbrella and chairs but it was good to know for future that they are available with this unit along with some snorkel gear.

Great stay overall

Clean, great comminucation with owner and property. Some wifi issues but hanalei bay resorts was working it and communicating. Room was rather dim and daybed makes it awkward for short people to sit inside, especially to also eat or drink, but owner may add a folding table and light to help with that. Owner also did a great job making a functional kitchenette. Most units don't even have a microwave. This one has a micro and fridge, but also provided dishes and soap (a sponge would be helpful). I don't think the dishes were mentioned in the listing, nor was the snorkle, tennis, and pickleball gear, which they do provide! Thanks for a lovely week-long stay.

Needs Work

I was very hopeful about this visit but unfortunately didn’t quite meet my expectations. The first thing I noticed was the bad musty smell when I walked in. The AC smells bad and is very loud off and on. We couldn’t leave it on at night because it was too loud. We then discovered mold in the bathroom which could be contributing to the smell. The unit was also very dusty. Please note the listing as of September 2024 is not accurate. The listing notes a dishwasher and a second half bath and neither were present. I was told to take out my trash and do the dishes. However, they don’t provide dish soap and the only sink is in the bathroom. Gross. I ended up doing the dishes in the bathroom sink with hand soap. I did my best. The towels didn’t smell clean and had to look for others in the closet which were better. Overall this has potential because the location and actual resort are fantastic but next time I would stay in another unit.

Hawaii vacation

Property was great. Clean and as advertised. One suggestion would be to have BBQ utensils available. We BBQ every night. The views there are incredible.

Top-notch location; unit is really for two

The location is outstanding. From the balcony, you look out over Hanalei Bay and the mountains. The property has a walkway leading to Hanalei Bay (far eastern edge, past the pier). The location alone makes this one of my favorite Vrbo rentals anywhere. The unit is one room plus bathroom. We fit four people in there, due to the owner's smart management of the space: The couch sleeps two and there is a large chest of drawers. If we had stayed longer than 4-5 days, I think the space would've started to get small. But again: we weren't in the room that much, preferring instead to go to Hanalei. The owner has done a nice job creating a semi-kitchen: microwave, mini-fridge, toaster, plates/bowls/utensils, coffee cups, drinking glasses, etc. You have to move the coffee maker into the bathroom to run it, and you have to wash dishes in the bathroom, but that's hardly the owner's fault -- they've done a nice job with the limitations imposed by the architect. Bathroom looks recently renovated and is spacious and attractive. Lighting in the main room is dim and unpleasant. An inexpensive swap of lamps and overhead lighting would immediately improve the atmosphere. Bed is large and comfortable. The owner thoughtfully supplied laundry detergent for the nearby laundry room. (Supplying dish soap would be another nice touch.) Owner is very responsive by text and seems to want to make sure you're enjoying your stay.

Beautiful setting

This was located in a beautiful setting for a short getaway. We used it as a base to explore a bit of the island and relax. It was clean and the whole process very seamless.
