Bienvenido a Spyglass Hill Villa en Anguila, British West Indies. Esta encantadora villa privada ofrece un ambiente elegante y relajado solo para dos o un grupo de amigos y familiares. La villa de cuatro dormitorios en Anguila se alza en la cresta de North Hill con vista al puerto de Road Bay y ofrece impresionantes vistas al mar Caribe, a las islas circundantes, a las puestas de sol tropicales nocturnas y al pintoresco pueblo de Sandy Ground.

Spyglass Hill Villa captura la esencia del estilo y diseño caribeños con sus espacios de estar interiores y exteriores relajados y rejuvenecedores. Esta residencia está inspirada en un gran atrio interior y cuenta con la calidez natural de la madera en todas partes, desde nuestros auténticos pisos de bambú hasta nuestros techos redondos y nuestra decoración de madera flotante.


La villa cuenta con cuatro amplias habitaciones, que incluyen dos suites principales con baños en suite en el piso superior y dos habitaciones adicionales: una en el piso principal y la otra en el nivel inferior. Las suites principales capturan magníficas vistas de la bahía y ofrecen un estilo de vida elegante, cada uno con una cama Sealy con almohada tamaño king, un patio privado y un baño de piedra natural que cuenta con una ducha al aire libre y una bañera de hidromasaje. Ambas suites también cuentan con aire acondicionado, ventiladores de techo y cajas de seguridad discretas.

La Villa siempre se alquila exclusivamente para una fiesta a la vez, por lo que incluso si elige la opción de un dormitorio, toda la villa y todas sus comodidades e instalaciones son accesibles solo para su grupo.

The host was incredibly knowledgeable, responsive and welcoming! She helped with numerous details that greatly enhanced our stay. And the view from the property is exceptional (particularly from the infinity pool).

Close to Everything

Great stay! North Hill is close to Sandy Ground and close to great beaches. Spyglass is a clean, well-kept house. The staff is very helpful & friendly. It's great having 3 primary bedrooms, so everyone has their own bath. We would stay at Spyglass again!

Great view of busy harbor

We enjoyed the Spyglass Villa. It has an interesting design with an internal courtyard. The two best bedrooms are on the top floor where they get plenty of sun and breeze as well as a pretty night-time view of the harbor and lively Sandy Ground. We got lucky and saw the famous starting race of the Anguilla Sailing teams-spectacular to see. Well equipped kitchen, nice pool and plenty of places to soak up the sun. The staff was very helpful as well.

Amazing vacation in a beautiful place

Spyglass was an amazing experience. We travelled right before Christmas with a group of seven -- my parents (agest 70+), us, and my kids (13, 11, 11). The house was exceptionally comfortable and clean -- comfortable bed, anything you could imagine needing, a well equipped kitchen, quiet air conditioning. The owner and staff were beyond helpful, delivering extra fruit punch and helping a restaurant track me down when I left my credit card behind. I wouldn't change a thing. Two quick points I'd share -- the house is about a 5 min drive on an unpaved road. Easily navigable but rough -- part of the adventure. And the house overlooks the small commercial area of Sandy Ground -- centrally located to everywhere and the faint sounds of live music at the bars below drifting upwards to sing us to sleep with the sounds of the islands. We will be back!

Spyglass Hill Villa

Our stay at Spyglass during the last two weeks of February 2011, was one of the very best vacations that my husband and i ever experienced. We were wamly greated at the peir by Villa staff, and taken to the Spyglass, where a welcome basket of fruits, crakers, local cakes and wine awaited us. Also provided was a delicous dinner, it seems like our needs were anticipated, given that after a long day of travel it was exactly what we needed. The villa was exactly as described in the listing. Just more beautiful in reality. The property was immaculate, and was maintained daily by a very gracious and curtious woman, no cleaning detail escaped her. Any questions or needs we had (which were few, given that everything is thought of ahead of time) were very promptly answered and or taken care of. I never felt like either my husband or i were a bother. I would unreservedly reccomend this property to my friends and family. The views from every room in the property, over looking Sandy Ground, the beach and St Martin in the distance were phenomenal. The beaches on Anguilla, rated among the best in the world, were all virtually a few minutes away by car, and if you prefer the pool, the edgless pool at Spyglass was, (for me ) was a unique expeirience. (See photo) My best dinning experiences on the island were at DiVidas, Cap Juluca, Smokey's and at SpyGlass! We had a delicous meal prepared in house by their cook. My only challenge at this point is, to hope that it will be available in 2012, as i cannot imagine staying anywhere else on Anguilla, which is my favorite home away from home. Janine (the managent) and her crew are exceptional. I say this with complete sincerity, as someone who has traveled quite a bit.

Beautiful villa!

Our stay at Spyglass Hill was absolutely incredible. Janine and her staff actually saved our vacation when the airline canceled our flight last minute to the island. They went above and beyond to help us find new flights. The day we arrived we were greeted by Erlene who had the most delicious rum punch and pizza waiting for us. After a long day of travel it was the perfect way to start our vacation. The villa itself is beautiful and clean with the most stunning views. The ping pong table was definitely a favorite past time. The kitchen were very well stocked with drinks, snacks and fruits. To say we felt well taken care of would be an understatement. Janine and her staff truly made us feel at home and even went out of their way to make our daughter's Sweet 16 memorable with balloons and a cake. We highly recommend Spyglass Hill and look forward to staying here again the next time we visit!

The Spyglass experience...

Everything about Spyglass Hill villa was wonderful! From the view, to the accommodations, to the support staff it was such a relaxing and refreshing trip. Janine and her staff went over and above helping us get to the island when we were delayed into St. Maarten. Anything we needed was addressed quickly and in a manner that ensured that nothing disrupted our ability to enjoy the island! The services we got from Chef Tyrone Hughes were unbelievable. In addition, the people of this island are so delightful. Can't wait to come back!

Unforgettable!

I could not have been more impressed with villa. We arrived to cold towels being handed out by Shelly our wonderful house maid. Next we were handed THE BEST RUM PUNCH we have ever had freshly made in front of us and a hot delicious pizza waiting on us to snack on. The villa itself is unforgettable. The views, the layout, the cleanliness and all the amenities we have never had anywhere else! There was a fully stocked bar, fresh fruit, milk, juices and many more snacks waiting for us! We were in awe as we toured the villa. The sunsets at night were our favorite and some of the prettiest we have ever seen! Our young children are still talking about it! We will be visiting Anguilla again soon and without a doubt will be staying here again. Janine and staff were very accommodating throughout the entire process. This villa is top notch. We have visited many island and have stayed in homes versus resorts and this place is our favorite! Can’t wait to visit again!

Beautiful villa and views, great support team.

In our 18 years of visiting Anguilla, Spyglass is the most beautiful villa we have rented with a great view of the beach and the boats at Sandy Ground. The lovely pool and covered deck outside the living room over look this spectacular scene. The villa is spacious, well furnished and very well equipped with spacious bedrooms and luxurious baths. But the support staff is what really separates this facility from the 3 other villas we rented for 1-2months over the years. In the Islands, it is frequently difficult to have local maintenance people correct any problems with the internet, cable TV, telephone, power, appliances etc, but the management company, Sunset Villas, somehow arranges same or next day service instead of waiting days to correct problems. We would definitely recommend Spyglass to friends and family. Favorite activities are visiting the many beautiful beaches, tennis, sailing and enjoying the great restaurants. We don't play golf, but understand the golf course is excellent under the new ownership.

The greatest view in the Caribbean

Spyglass Hill is truly a paradise regardless of situation. The Villa can easily accomodate a family with small children or 4 adult couples looking for a romantic getaway. It offers luxury and service unparalled anywhere else. The villa is perched on top of a hill overlooking Anguilla's most picturesque bay and the view is so overwhelming one could easily spend an entire vacation and never leave the porch or infinity pool. The rooms, outdoor showers, open courtyards, billiard & exercise rooms, etc... are all icing on the cake when it comes to a luxurious vacation getaway. It simply doesn't get better than Spyglass Hill.

Spyglass Hill Anguilla

We love the house, the privacy and the view is unsurpassed. The beds and linens are the best, very comfortable. The management is very responsive and the housekeeper Monica is a 10. The only drawback would be the noise at night from Sandy Ground. We felt it was worth the trade off to have such a spectacular view and we don't have trouble sleeping but if that is an issue for you perhaps packing some earplugs would be a good idea. The sunsets are spectacular and we can't wait to get back there next year.

Perfection in Paradise!

We have selected Spyglass Hill for our accommodations on several trips to Anguilla, including our recent stay in May, 2010. We prefer staying at Villas while vacationing in Anguilla over the "resort scene" because of the privacy (our own pool, kitchen and plenty of space) and the opportunity to entertain friends or family who were also on island. We certainly did not lack any of the luxuries, or amenities at Spyglass Hill. The Villa has a beautiful kitchen, wonderful master suites with private outside showers with views of ships or stars (I love that!) and plenty of room if traveling with family or friends. The grounds are well maintained and secure. Technology is at your fingertips if you need to be in touch and a there's a well equipped exercise room and pool table if you're staying indoors. The Sunset Homes staff are easy to communicate with on and off island and will see to your every need. We love that! Monica keeps the Villa spotless. Spyglass Hill is a little off the beaten path but provides a spectacular view of Sandy Ground (we just love seeing the sailboats and yachts come and go) from all windows and we loved soaking in the infinity pool and looking at the views. When we travel to Anguilla we prefer to explore the area and try different restaurants, beaches and views. Spyglass Hill is centrally situated to provide easy access the east and west ends of the island. Anguilla is a special place for us and we return there to unwind and recharge as often as we can. Our biggest effort while on island is trying to decide which fabulous beach to go to during the day and which amazing restaurant to go to in the evening! There is absolutely no efforts or concerns when staying at Spyglass Hill! We are very disappointed if someone beats us to our travel dates and it's not available! I highly recommend this Villa.
