Love it!!! That is why you go to the mountains. Nature has a restorative beauty and I am so glad you found it. The trails and remote canyon makes it feel " far from anyone" however, you can be in the Village in under 5 minutes. Store my contact and I will help you save $$$ next time.

Amazing View

My family and I really enjoyed this property. The view was amazing, the location was convenient and trails close by were great for our dog. The 3 king beds were very comfortable and the blush robes getting out of the hot tub was perfect. I definitely recommend this place.

Great place with a wonderful view. The house had everything we could need. Coming back from a long day of skiing to a hot tub was perfect! I would definitely stay here again.

Everything you need

We had a great stay at this home. Everything you need for the kitchen is there. Extra pillows, blankets and plenty of towels. It was nice being at the end of the driveway with privacy. The home was clean and as described. My kids loved exploring and seeing deer and elk. The hot tub was great as well. We are already planning to come back.

Girls Weekend

This was the PERFECT place to stay. Everyone had their own room and bathroom! We enjoyed it tremendously and will save it for future stays!! The only thing that would have been nice is to have a check-out list for leaving. I wasn't sure if we should strip the beds, start the towels, what exactly was expected?

Cozy Mountain Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful 4 generation gathering for Thanksgiving. Ages 1-87! The cabin was perfect for our family. We enjoyed hiking and returning to share stories on the deck during the day and sat indoors around the fireplace at night. The bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The road to the cabin was a bit challenging but understandable after the fires and floods this past summer. We would definitely refurn!

Short get away

Even though older home kept up nicely. Thought from description and photos more secluded - needs upgrade bedding scratchy sheets.hot tub extremely clean temperature spot on. Driveway needs help! I can’t see it being accessible in winter. Well stocked kitchen.

Quiet and Convenient

The property is not quite as nice as the pics, but very comfortable. The only complaint I had was the mattress. I have lower back issues and the mattress was so soft, I had back pain ever day. Other than the bed; my wife, daughter, son in law and their two dogs and I found the house very comfortable.

There are a few items I would like to bring to mind. The cabin is in the mountains and the inside/outside is exactly like the pictures. There are lots of extra sheets and blankets for the beds. Having a bad back is tough and wish you were more comfortable. Maybe they should have written the review ???

Just what we needed!

This three bedroom cabin had lots of room and was the perfect place for us to get away and spend with our adult children. The property is lovely and restful, with lots of wildlife (wild horses, turkeys, and deer) ambling by. The weather was spectacular during our stay, and we enjoyed hiking the nearby trails. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with plenty of linens, pillows, and cozy blankets, and the kitchen was well stocked with coffee, teas, and some welcome extras like oil, spices, and a few pantry staples. We also loved spending time around the firetable on the balcony. And at night, the view of the stars from the balcony was breathtaking. We can’t wait to visit Ruidoso again!

Beautiful views

The property is in a great location! We arrived in the evening after 9 hours of driving and the code to open the door didn’t work. We had 3 phone numbers- none of them answered and 2 of the voicemail boxes were full. I left a message on one and the host called back within a few minutes and unlocked the door for us and changed the code to make it work. The house was hot and took awhile to cool. There were several issues that the host was not aware of. He was very responsive and took care of the things he could. The living room furniture was great & the beds were comfy. We loved that all 3 bedrooms had adjoining bathrooms. One of the bedrooms didn’t have an a/c. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with pots, pans, etc. We enjoyed the fire pit on the deck. The host was very accommodating!!
