The house was clean and updated. The kitchen was especially nice with a wonderful island with barstools for eating meals. All appliances, silverware and dishes were clean and there were ample for our party of 5! The living room had plenty of seating and we enjoyed nights with the big TV. The washer and dryer were game changers. We brought laundry pods and packed our suitcases with clean clothes when we left. The most enjoyable was the hot tub! We used it nightly after hiking and climbing mountains and it helped our sore muscles. We would definitely stay here again. The only negatives were the close neighbors who had views into the hot tub and their dog who routinely barked.

We are four unrelated adults who had a week-long conference at the Gail Miller Conference Center at SLCC Sandy campus. The 4-bedroom 2 1/2 bath house is just over a mile from the venue, so many days we walked to and from the conference. It was very pleasant in mid-September. This was a great setup for us. We enjoyed the coffee that was provided and made use of the refrigerator. The bathrooms are very nice. We had no issues with any of the appliances. The air conditioner kept the house very pleasant.

The accommodations were generally comfortable and the kitchen was roomy. The host was great at communicating helpful information before we arrived and was very responsive throughout the whole process. Check-in was very easy. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and would consider staying there again. But we did encounter just a few small inconveniences: a) the ice maker and water dispenser on the refrigerator were not functional (but there was a bag of ice and ice cube trays in the freezer); b) the area rug on top of the carpet in the master bedroom had a curled corner near the door that tended to block the door a little, and it seemed like a tripping hazard; c) the ceiling fan in the master bedroom appeared to have quite a lot of dust on the blades.

Great place! Just a few things to mention.

Overall great experience, The thermostat not going below70deg was kinda irratating. Also the fact that it would not hold 70 degrees and would auto reset to 76 every time we left the house. The hot tub was over full on arrival, the filter unit was broken and floating around like it shouldn't. We were gonna use the bbq but it was not clean and we did not use it because of this. Loud dog behind the house kept barking through out the night. Missing power cord for the roku unit in the basement bedroom. Other than those things, fantastic experience. Thank you for having us!!Jerald, and the Lokan family!

Summer week long rental

We enjoyed our stay in Sandy Utah. The house is very conveniently located near major highway and lots of restaurants/shopping nearby. Plenty of parking and liked the layout of the house. Particularly enjoyed the ping pong/pool table in living room. It’s on the smaller side but still lots of fun for our kids. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfy. Just a recommendation to bring ear plugs or sound machine if you are light sleeper. Neighbor behind the rental has two dogs and several mornings could hear them outside in yard barking at six am. Can’t control outside noise so we always bring supplies to help. Liked that owner has an air purifier to help minimize germs and any odors. Overall a great place to stay with lots of amenities.

Lovely Home

Clean and comfortable. Loved the kitchen with all the amenities you could need. We stayed in Spring but would be a great place to stay for a family ski trip. Very close to both canyons.

Excellent

This property was clean, spacious and relaxing. we were in town for a gymnastics competition and my son was able to utilize the hot tub and find a bed that worked perfectly. The first was softer than he liked so found another that suited him. Nothing was wrong with the first just not to his liking. The neighborhood was quiet and it was very close to food and other amenities. I would absolutely stay here again, especially since my son won the competition.

Mixed Review About this Rental

Pros:1) 4 bedrooms accommodated our party of 4 to 5 very well. 2 of 4 beds were very comfortable.2) The Hot tub was well maintained and could be set to desired temperature, bit small for 4 people.3) TV and TV room were very nice.4) The kitchen in general was very nice. A few larger frying pans would have been welcome.Cons:1) Misleading pictures:A) Pool table and ping-pong table are small, made to look large by the way the photos are taken.B) In picture of hot tub there seems to be a neighbor’s house in the distance. The neighbor’s house is actually very close with a warning that they can see you and will report certain behavior to police.2) The pool table stick tips were broken so we couldn’t use the table. I told this to the owner but no new sticks brought to unit during our 6 night stay.3) The unit has a drip coffee maker, that had no coffee pot. Let the owner know on the first morning; not rectified during our stay.4) Lot’s of rules and regulations given in messages and posted all over the property. If I could share pictures I would.5) There is a video camera aimed directly at the hot tub that is on while the hot tub is occupied. Invasive? 6) Temperature control of thermostats allows a minimum of 68 degrees in winter. If you want it lower you can’t control it. Makes no sense.7) Extra person charges added for more than 2 people staying in a 4 bedroom house.I hope this review gives balance to other reviews of this property.

Great Location

Everything was very clean. The owners gave many details about the area which was helpful. It was an easy drive to and from I-15 which made it easy to go places.

Home away from home

Great Place

I brought my golf team to town for a college tournament. This location was perfect. It was close to food options and the golf course. The house had all kitchen utensils and appliances needed to feed 7 hungry girls. The sleep arraignments were perfect, and the space in the laundry room was perfect to hold all the golf clubs. We will stay here again!

Great stay for a group of friends
